About us

We are a one stop shop drapery workroom servicing the Tidewater Area for over 40 years. It is our goal to ask the right questions to ensure each customer receives what they want the first time. It is also our goal to meet deadlines or to let the client know up front if their time frame cannot be met. We strive to achieve to give our customers the best product possible with an open door policy for them to come in, if necessary to loo at patterns before their actual fabric is cut.

Services we offer

Custom draperies, all styles; dust ruffles, all styles; pillows; duvets; bedspreads (unquilted); cornices; lambrequins; valances, all styles; bed hangings; installation of all of the above plus blinds, shutters, artwork, etc. All work is done in house and we employ two full time installers.

Services we don't offer

We do not quilt or do alterations. We do not re-work anything that has not been cleaned prior to coming into workshop.

This company did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone. We were out of town so this company held the blinds for us until we could arrange installation.

Finding the right material took time because of the measurements. A lot of stores did not have enough material to fit the window. Findly she found several fabric swatches that would fit my bay window and mailed them to me for my selection and approval. I am very pleased with the service and the installaton went without a hitch. Great workmanship, friendly and thorough. My drapes are beautiful,. What a difference it has made to my living room.
Description of Work: Made drapes for my bay window which is very large.

I finally decided to put faux wood blinds on the upper windows of my family room and living room windows. The sun was blinding! So I called the same people and ordered them. They were in in less than a week and they came to install two days later. Took about an hour. I'm very please and would recommend them again!
Description of Work: I ordered Hunter Douglas Woodmates (faux wood) blinds for my windows. There were 6 windows. They arrived on time, and installed the blinds flawlessly. The install for each blind was $12.50. I had the rest of my house done in the same blinds by the same company when I moved in my house in Nov 2008. The price at that time was about $2000 for about 20 windows. Same story - arrived on time, installed the blinds perfectly and left. Very polite and professional.
