Final Analysis Home Inspections

Description of Work: I contacted Dan after my "buyer's agent" recommended I use an inspector he has worked with before. Well I googled his recommended inspector to find out he was an inspector for a home purchased locally by a woman who is now suing the builder for obvious defects. So I figured I go with someone who my fellow yelps highly recommended. And I am so happy I did!!! Dan found various electrical mistakes ( minor they may have been) but his report gave me insight on the possible lack of quality of work the investor had probably put into the whole home. Can you say pig in lipstick! The investor read the report and agreed to make the repairs of termite damaged support beams and framing "if necessary". I knew it would be an up hill battle and killed the deal at once. If Dan puts something in red " it's necessary". USE DAN and his team, they will truly be the only ones who have your best interests in the entire home buying process!

We decided to give them a try and I'm really happy we did! | |Dan was very courteous both over the phone and in person, and didn't mind when I bugged him with extra phone calls for questions that came up before our scheduled appointment. I was able to book the appointment for two days out as well, which was perfect. | |My husband and I arrived early the day of, and Adam and Chris were already there starting the inspection. They were incredibly polite and thorough through the whole process and took the time to explain every little thing they'd come across so far. Dan was able to stop by as well for a bit and also shared some insights while we walked the property. Overall I believe the appointment took about two hours total. | |After they were finished, Adam gave a very detailed summary of what they'd come across in the house, and we had our completed report from them in just a few hours. Final Analysis's level of customer service was top notch as well as their expertise, and we will definitely be recommending them to everyone we know! :)

Description of Work: Performed a full home inspection near end of 1 year builder warranty. Did an excellent job and very very responsive and professional. They worked with us to make sure that everything was completed on time and we would have enough time to get all warranty requests submitted on time.

Description of Work: We called this company for a home inspection on a property in Norfolk. He was very accurate and went over everything. He worked for us as the home buyer and the written report was very clear and organized. We are using him again next week for another property. We originally found his name on Angie's list.

Description of Work: CONSUMERS BEWARE ... READ THE CONTRACT! We originally scheduled this company to perform a one year home warranty inspection and we questioned the contract as it stated they do not inspect out buildings. Since we have a detached two-car garage and were going to pay extra to have this inspected, their contract stated otherwise. In corresponding with this company we were told it was "implied" that it would be inspected since we were paying extra. We asked for the contract to be updated, which verbaige was added to state "unless otherwise paid for." We then questioned the square footage 2x, which is 2,100 sq ft. He listed our square footage as 2,500. We asked for the contract to be updated and was told the sq footage was taken from property records. We viewed the property records on line and we were correct. Next we were given a cancellation notice by this company stating, that we expressed itls aplack of confidence in their abilites and they felt we didn't have faith in their performance. Totally misintpretted our intent, which was to clarify the contract. We would not recommend this company!
