The owner, Eric, came over to give me an estimate on can lights and undercabinet lights in kitchen. In dicussions with my contractor and the electrician, I stated I wanted the undercabinet lights to be wired all on one switch and it was supposed to be included in the estimate. When the work was done, the lights were all wired on individual switches as they had been before. Who would want to go around the kitchen switching on six different undercabinet lights individually? My contractor was there for the estimate and did agree that I had said specifically that I wanted them on one switch, but I don't know what he later told Eric in their "discussions" after the estimate meeting. When I called Eric to discuss the error, he denied that I had ever said that I wanted them on one switch and continued to argue with me about it. He said they could wire them on the same switch but it would cost me extra. He ended up doing the work in some deal with my shady contractor to "make it up on another job," so I didn't have to pay the extra in the end, but I did not appreciate being basically called a liar by Eric. The can lights were installed correctly but they cut out the drywall to do the undercabinet light wiring and then did an extremely poor job putting the original drywall pieces back into the wall, leaving huge gaps and ugly screws sticking out. My new contractor (I fired the first one who hired ETC) said he would have fired any employee of his who would leave drywall looking like that.

It went well. They were referred to us by the company who put our new heating system in because they needed to do something electrically and it went well and then I had them back when I got a new stove that turned out it needed a special outlet in the back and they came and did that and I thought that they were reasonable. They were fine to have in your house you know that creepy feelings I did not get when you have people in your house. They were nice guys. The thing with the stove that was a surprise when we were hooking it up and they came in the next day and they didn't hit me with like emergency charges or anything.

He is the bomb and is prompt on callbacks. The owner of this company told us the previous wiring job was dangerous unless it was corrected so I credit him with saving our lives. He has helped us on and off since 2008.
