Description of Work: They did an ok job. I don't know what exactly I was expecting. Honestly, I could have saved money by just buying more of my own lawn fertilizer and seed and doing the 'work' myself. I was already laying my own fertilizer and seed. I thought they could help my lawn come back to life after neglect from my house sitter over the course of 6 months. I suppose they did help it "get right" in the long run. It was a long and painful growing period. I had already signed up for their services when I ended up tilling my whole yard and starting completely over with organic dirt and straw. I don't feel as though the back yard was touched by them with anything they did do. Also, I was left two or three notes about what they had done, but nothing looked touched. Overall, I put a crap ton of time into my grass/yard in general and it ended up growing-in and the weeds did not return.

 + 0 moreI contacted them based on Angie's List reviews and they were very professional. They gave a price quote by personally visiting my house and looking at the lawn. Their assessment contained detailed information about my lawn type, condition and necessary treatments. Later they came out for aeration, seeding and fertilization on my request. It was done well. I just wish they had called me while out there.

Description of Work: We were having different types of weeds popping up in our yard. Dreamlawns called and set up a time to come out and treat yard. We were told that the weeds that we saw would turn brown, curl up and die....and they did just that. We will be calling them for more work as we were pleased with their service.

 + -1 moreWe have been using Dreamlawns for 3 or 4 years and had been reasonably satisfied. This year our lawn began looking very poor, lots of bermuda grass emerging and weeds. We have an irrigation system so we knew it wasn't because of dryness. We hoped Dreamlawns would address the problem but it never improved. We contacted the representative who visited our property. However, he took no responsibility for the condition of our lawn. Their marketing tells customers that they can "relax" and let Dreamlawns take care of the lawn. Not so.
Description of Work: DreamLawns provided lawn fertilization, weed control applications, and airation.

 + 0 moreI needed an estimate for a landscaping job beside a chain link fence, that was due to an automobile accident. The insurance company was going to reimburse me as the landscaping was a requirement by the city. . they were recommended to me by my contractor. they never responded. When I let me contractor know, he contacted them and found out that they thought I was just going to keep the money and not have the job done. They must not need the business as they never even contacted my contractor to confirm my request. I did not keep the money. I had K&J Landscaping do the job. I would never use this company if thats the way they treat potential customers.
Description of Work: I emailed this company after being referred to them by my contractor. They never responded.

 + 1 moreOverall we've been happy with Dreamlawns. We have been very disappointed with landscapers in the area. We have found them to be far worse than contractors, painters, plumbers, etc. We have worked with at least 4 other companies and they never return phone calls. They don't show up when they say they will. It has been a real problem. The best thing about Dreamlawns is that they're easy to contact, pleasant to work with, and they do the work on schedule. If they can't make it they call. The quality of their work has been excellent. Their vision as far as planning our landscaping was not the best we saw, but none of the other landscapers ever got any further than giving us ideas or plans. Never any follow through. Dreamlawns is may not be spectacular, but they're reliable.
Description of Work: Dreamlawns has done several jobs for me. They have installed landscaping. Done landscaping cleanup. Lawn Fertilization, Aerating and Seeding. They have done irrigation work.

 + -1 moreThe patios are very nice and they did a good job with the installation and the time schedule. When they installed the patios they tore up our lawn and relaid sod because of that. When the sod was put down we were told it may not survive due to the time of year and heat but to give it some time. Because Dreamlawns maintains our lawn they also guaranteed to replace any sod that didn't make it. Since then we've contacted the company repeatedly to ask them to take care of the spots that didn't make it and they haven't returned our calls. They continue to come out and fertilize but will not take our calls regarding the parts of our lawn that never recovered from the patio install. Because of that, my husband and I will not be recommending Dreamlawns to our friends and neighbors and are currently searching for a new lawn service company.
Description of Work: They installed 2 patios for us. When they installed the patios they tore up our lawn and relaid sod because of that.

They come on time and they send out notifications when it is about time to be done again. They come and do the job and send me a bill for it so they do not interrupt me or anything. They do a thorough job and I am pleased with it.
Description of Work: They fertilize seed and treat for crabgrass every couple of months as it is needed. My yard is about 1/4 an acre.

They pointed out any trouble areas they focused on and if we ever had a problem they would come back and retreat the problem area at no cost. The service guy was so nice and helpful; he even helped my husband move a mattress. We had success getting rid of the weeds and they gave us extra grass seed in case we needed it.
Description of Work: They sprayed fertilizer for the weeds plus seeded the lawn.

 + -1 moreOur yard looks great thanks to them. They checked with us to see if we had any concerns. They stated that they will re-treat any areas of concern for no extra cost. They left us a note informing us of what was done and whether to water or to keep kids away. We have used them for awhile now and have been very satisfied with them. We get the same guy each time so he knows our expectations. He is very courteous of pets. We used to have to call whenever we wanted them, now we are on a yearly contract. Its $25.00 per month.
Description of Work: They sprayed my 1/2 acre for weeds, put on fertilizer, crab grass and aerated our yard.

 + -1 moreDreamlawns always does a good job cutting my grass. I am too old to be doing that kind of stuff, but, they are very young and professional. They are always at my home right on schedule. I have never had a problem with them. The pricing has always been fair. Just recently they have raised it and I am not too thrilled about that. At least they do a good job. That is all that really matters to me.
