DOHERTY'S ROOFING & SIDING

We have been trying to get them to handle warranty work for us for services they provided to us previously and they have been completely unresponsive.

I had my roof replaced while I was renting out the house - never the best situation and even worse if you are dealing with a dishonest and incompetent provider. In the last few months, garage roof started to leak so I did some research and found out that it was not installed to code which required using either plywood or SOB over hardwood slats with great than 1/8 inch separation between slats. I then called the city to determine why it passed inspection and found out that a permit was never pulled even though there was clearly one in the bill. I had Mr. Doherty out to look at the roof but he was non-chalant and said not pulling the permit must have been an admin error (a criminal one) and that it was his father's company and he's since started a new one so he can't be held accountable anyway. The company has only slightly changed its name and is using the same address and phone number, the current Mr. Doherty is the one I dealt with when the roof was installed. Definite F.
