I called on Mr. Hartmann on two occasions -2014 and 2015. He did the work I needed professionally and expeditiously. After replacing the damaged siding, he left the invoice in my door, which I promptly paid! This is the honor system that has been lost in this day and age. I will continue to call on Mr. Hartmann when the need arises. He is wonderful in my opinion.

Excellent. Used highest quality vinyl handrails to replace old deteriorated wooden ones. Anchored them solidly in the brick porch. Significantly improved the appearance of the front of the house and provided super stability in the solid handrails that support users extremely well. Could not have done a better job.

Well it didn't go well for me because my nightmare was just beginning the water came back with vengeance. Oh he did my stair railing for me. It was in a very bad way he added some stability to it on one side. The other side was still loose as it is still today none of the work was painted it was a sloppy job that was not worth 500 dollars. Let's go back to my laminated floor I called him back about all the issues I had with his work and question how could you charge someone so much money for not fixing the problem. No answer matter of a fact he stop answering my calls. Yeah I only got him to come back out to my house one time. And he caulked the toilet at my request. The toilet was never tighten back it place which caused the toilet to move each time some one used it. And the caulking of my dining room ceiling was a special touch. All this caulking just Band-Aid the bigger problem it was never fixed by him.That's crazy I thought I found this contractor on Angie list and he was suppose to be this A list contractor. What he did was stiff me for a lot of money for something that wasn't that costly to repair. Not only did I feel victimized but scammed. I am a single mom that is caring for my elderly mom. So it's no mystery my hands were full and are full today. It is my duty to tell about my experience with this contractor so others may know his tendency.

It went very well. He was to come Wed but had a cancellation and offered to come the day before appointment. Very nice guy

I called Mr. Hartmann up on Monday 28 Mar for an estimate and he came the same day and left it in my door. I called him the next day for told him that was fine and he completed the work the next day and even let me mail the payment after I came back to town. Great customer service and very happy with the work! Will definitely use Mr. Hartmann in the future.

Mr. Hartmann and his assistant Mike were professional, courteous and on time. Work completed quickly.

All appointments began on time and job was done in the time frame promised. Really impressed they were able to do the job without the typical hassle of no-shows and excuses I have often gotten from contractors.

The crew he hired were wonderful, and they had a lot of respect for their boss, they were very professional, told about the concerns of my house and he let me know future projects I may need. Made me believe in contractors again. He actually cares about his work and did follow ups very honest and sincere man,

Hands down one of the finest contractors I've dealt with. Mr. Hartmann personally shows up to provide estimates and in my particular case came in significantly lower than almost everyone else. (The only exception beat his price by $100, but struck me as spectacularly untrustworthy.) He completed the work as scheduled and as quoted, and will be my first call if I ever need siding work again.

Timely quote. Timely scheduling. Great work. Came out quickly to fix one door that was missed.

Mr. Hartmann was so helpful in evaluating the needs of my house regarding vinyl soffit repairs. He gave me very honest answers regarding need for repair and how to implement repair for thousands less if actually needed. He came out on the same day notice and I am very grateful for his honesty and advise. I would use his company in a heartbeat if vinyl or aluminum repairs needed to be done. HONEST!

I called him, he came straight over, we discussed repair and price, He was very reasonable so I hired him. His partner got a ladder from the truck and went right up and repaired it. Excellent work, he even noticed some loose siding on the front of the house and fixed it for free on his way back to the truck. I would definitely call him for future work.

I've used Mr. Hartmann for several home repair jobs and for cleaning my siding. His prices are very reasonable and work is good quality. Most recently he was able to quickly fix a front door jam problem we had at the house. I've also used him for installing some windows fascia and replacement windows a few years ago and all of that went very well. It might take a few days to coordinate a meeting, but he is a solid handyman who does very good work. As you can tell, I've used him several times with good results.

Overall ok. Some spots missed, however we have a lot of paint leftover to do the touch ups. Probably could have used a second coat overall but the painter ran out of time. Could have used 2 painters and it might have gone quicker but we could afford another painter.

He opened up the wall, cut the concrete blocks for the threshold, installed the door and finished the trim and siding on the outside and trim on the inside. They arrived at 8:30am and were finished by 2pm. Mr. Hartman the owner was here in the morning to getr his crew started and returned in the afternoon to finish up. The trim and siding work was excellent and professional.

Mr. Hartman came precisely at the appointed time to give me an estimate of the work to be done. During the last storm one of the windows in the front of the house leaked. Mr. Hartman explained to me problem and how to correct it. His crew came and fixed the problem. They were very efficient and friendly. I would recommend D L Hartman without reservation.

Once I called him back to do the job, his people were out the second day, and completed the installation carefully in just 2 hours. They left nothing in the yard or anywhere at all, as if they had never been there. He is not a personal friend, relative, or even a previous acquaintance of mine, so I have no reason to say nice things except that I think he and his team did an exceptional job.

D.L. Hartman was wonderful!! I waited to write the review to see how the siding did. The siding is great and the owner was so friendly! I love when you call that you actually speak to the owner and he comes out to give you the quote. We also had a piece slide down a couple months after it was installed(probably from the wind) and they came out the next morning to fix it with no hassle at all! I would recommend them to anyone!!

. What can you say, they are one time, one budget, clean up after themselves and just plain nice people.
