It took them 2 days. It went generally quite well. The work was done well and they did a nice job. The crew, did not speak English, so we did have some communication issues when one of the bosses was gone. We mentioned that to the owner and the owner promised me it would be taken care of in the future.

The salesperson was courteous and knowledgeable. He gave me a fair price and good terms. The workers were early on the job and efficient. They did a great job and cleaned up well.

WOW! That is the most appropriate word we can think of to thank you for the quality work done on the renewal of our deck. Little did we know when we received one of those phone calls soliciting your services that we would end up with a beautiful new service on our deck! Agreeing to an estimate of that job has been one of the best decisions we have ever made regarding a home improvement project. The crew working on our deck where prompt neat and tackled some of the most difficult situations required to install the new surface boards. These men persevered through rain and heat and are to be commended for their positive attitude and workmanship. The project manager Jim and his crew are tops in our opinion. At the conclusion of the job they even cleaned up every scrap of wood and material trash from the yard leaving it looking as if they were never there! Custom Home Improvements came out to my home and looked at our roof and showed us a few areas that were bad. They explained there roof and the materials they use and measured the roof. Then they gave us a quote on a new lifetime GAF roof. We wanted to think about it for a day and we loved that they were not pushy to force us to make a decision that day. So after a few days we called them back and when they came back out we also decided to get a price on new windows. The lady measured our windows and showed us the windows that they carry and we loved them. So we then decided to have custom home improvements do both our roof and windows. Once we did all the paperwork we got a call a few days later from a guy I believe his name was chad to measure our windows for ordering. A week or so later they came out and installed are new roof. The guys did a great job, they worked hard all day and did a superior job at cleaning up and making it look like no one was ever here. Once the roof was done about two weeks later the window crew came out and installed are new windows. They were also great they helped move a few pieces of big furniture to get to the windows. They were very polite and treated our home as if it was theirs. The windows look amazing! The over all project went great from start to finish. I would recommend Custom Home Improvements to everyone, they are a great company!!!!

y and did not want to sit through another one of their sales pitches. The sales representative arrived at the scheduled time. She measured the roof, then began with a long and drawn out sales pitch. Well over an hour into the pitch, I am finally presented with a quote for my room. This quote was more then double the price of the company I had replace my roof. After asking how their price compared, they told me they offered a different product that was less money. The sales rep calculated a quote on that product, but it was still significantly higher and did not offer anywhere near the warranty as other companies. After 2 hours of sales pitches, I told them I was done for the day. About a month after receiving the quote, I received a call from someone at the company. They said they didn't miss-quote me, but they felt they could come back out and give me a much better price then they originally quoted me. I told them I was signing a contract within the next few days with another company and did not want to sit through another sales pitch. I told them if they had a better price, to give it to me over the phone. The associate said they would call back with another price shortly, but I never heard back from them.

This is the second project that we have contracted with this company and are very pleased with the results. Our first project was roof and gutters and this time we had our windows installed. We wanted windows that are low maintenance and are energy efficient that fit our budget. Overall we are very pleased and will be recommending this company.

Had a lot of rotten wood to replace, so cost went up a good bit, but it was somewhat expected. Had to come up twice to follow up on problems, but were very quick to respond. Very happy overall.

I contacted Custom Home Improvement because I used them in the past for trim work on my home. They were great, so I knew I would have the same experience for a larger project. The sales person they sent out (Bill) was great! He spent time explaining the process and materials that would be used. My husband and I sealed the deal and awaited an install date. I attempted to reach Bill via the phone # on the card he left. He did not answer so I left a message. To this day that call has not been returned and my roof has since been installed. I was told that it would take them 1 day to complete the project it ended up being 3 days. The first day was out of their control because of a storm and tornados were projected. The workers left an uncovered trailer in my driveway filled with debris along with a pallet of shingles and misc equipment. I had no one to call to have them retrieve the trailer and materials. I was displeased and tried to contact the main number for Custom a little after 4pm with no success. I did locate a phone number of the finance manager here on Angie's list and he was kind enough to reach out and get the guys to come back and pick up their trailer and materials. Even though he was very helpful, it was a frustrating process to not have a contact number for anyone. What if his number was NOT listed here? They came back on Saturday and the job still wasn't completed because they did not have enough material to complete the final ridge caps, which resulted in them having to come back out on Monday. They did cut a screen, but it was taken and fixed. Some of the siding on my house was a bit dinged as well. Yesterday I get a call from a guy (name not recalled) who wanted the signed document from me saying that I am pleased with their work so that they can get paid and he wanted to come out same day. No that's not an appointment, asked for him to come the following day after 11am. He showed up the next day (today) at 10:39am. I opened the door and asked why I didn't get a phone call to say "Hey I'm on my way, is it ok if I come a bit earlier", nothing and did not seem to have any regard for the fact that he just showed up. There are several projects that we had planned for the future and planned on utilizing Custom Home Improvement. With the lackluster customer service we rec'd on this project, we will likely go with another company. I don't know what happened between our last project and this one, but I am NOT impressed. The finance manager heard my concerns and that's all that I ask. He was not the problem and unfortunately cannot rectify my displeasure with their organization. My last issue is the crew that they sent out to work on my home there was only 1 or 2 people on site who spoke English. It was very difficult to communicate with them with the language barrier. I will not be a future Custom Home Improvements customer.

It worked great. They came out quickly and explained everything. The amount didn't cover my entire roof and they went over how much the additional would cost and it was pretty reasonable. They actually ended up replacing my skylights too. The new ones are great, so I was pretty happy. The final cost was $12000. They were early.

I thought they did a great job at a fair price. They were professional and proficient. 3 days after the new roof we had a large rainstorm. I climbed up in the attic and checked for any issues, none whatsoever. They trust there work enough that you do not pay until the job is completed. I would recommend them.

Having been in real estate for over 20 years and assisted many dozens of people with their home improvements, it was EXTREMELY REWARDING to see a company which "TOLD IT LIKE IT IS"! Quality of workmanship and price was far superior compared to all other companies I interviewed.

We wanted to say thank you for the excellent job you did in redoing our vinyl siding and installing new gutters. We were beside ourselves with the poor job we got from the first contractor we hired, who apparently did not actually know how to do siding, leaving us with being worse off than we were with our old siding. Everyone we worked with at Custom Home Improvements was professional, courteous and friendly. As all the siding had to come off and be redone we really appreciated your assistance and willingness to use as much of the current mastic siding as possible to try and help minimize the financial impact to us. The foam board you use behind the siding really added another layer of protection to the house and helped seal it and keep it warmer. The entire job was done efficiently and with quality workmanship. Everything was done correctly and the job looks great. I would also like to comment that it was great working for a company that does not require money up front to start the job. Unlike the first company we used. It reassures you that the job will be done to your satisfaction. Also for everyone out there learn from my mistake, hire a great company like custom home improvements and don't just look at lowest price because it ended up costing us a lot more in the long run. We would definitely work with Custom Home Improvements again for any future projects and would certainly recommend them to everyone.

Signed a contract with them for 10 windows on Sept.24th. They came out the next day and measured the inside of windows. They said they would order and would probably take about 7-10 days to receive. I expected them to put them in soon after that. Had to call them and ask why they hadn't been out. This was first of Dec. Finally installed on Dec. 13th. Professionally done and I am happy with them. Crew was pleasant to work with. If you use these people, just make sure you get a set date for installations.

Custom Home Improvements installed our vinyl trim and siding to our two story home. We were very impressed with all the staff that came out to our home, all were very professional and courteous! The materials used were of high quality and the cost of the job was very reasonable. We liked the fact that Custom Home Improvements offered many financing options! The installation was initiated as planned and completed in just 4 days! We did not see any flaws with their marksmanship. Although vinyl trim and siding and gutters was not something we planned to do this year, we are pleased that we were able to proceed with this needed project for our home. The company did a super job with everything. I am extremely pleased. This is our third home and we had work done on all three but this was our first time with Custom Home Improvements and they were superior to the other companies we've worked with! After the company came out and took measurements, my husband and I couldn't believe the difference in how we were treated-- Instead of high pressure and having some stranger sit in our house for countless hours, this company invited my family into their showroom, which was UNBELIEVABLE!! The secretary entertained our children and had them enjoy cartoons on tv while my husband and I got to see our NEW ROOF on our house before it was done! It really helped to see our actual house on the large screen tv to pick the color instead of some little booklet or a two inch sample like the other companies did! The savings we got with this company compared to other quotes allowed us to also do a deck in our backyard that we are enjoying. The crews were outstanding with their work, professionalism, and even the cleanup. They exceeded our expectations! I Really Appreciate the fact that Custom Home Improvements came out and met with me by myself with my husband out to sea!! I had been trying to get someone with quality products and work history to come out, but everyone wanted to wait until my husband came back in December. Other companies which I prefer not to mention treated me as if being a Female I couldn't make the decision for our home which I am helping pay for!! So Thank You for showing me that Respect first off! Then when The Crew showed up for work they were extremely nice and explained what they were going to be doing first and how long it would take. They even took photos and sent them to my husband so he kept up on the progress! I can't tell you how much my husband appreciated that and it gave me all the confidence in the world of the crews! Then they got the work done very clean and timely manner. After my windows where done they looked so good that I decided to go ahead and get the Roof done as well! The sales rep I dealt with told me of a special that was being offered on Angie's List for the gutters. So by the time I got my Multi product discount and the Angie's list special the gutters were almost free!! So in Closing I Would Highly Recommend This Company To Anyone Especially To Military Families This Company is Very Military Friendly!!

My experience started with an agent who knocked on the door. I usually don't accept those solicitors but she was very polite and knowledgeable so I agreed to set an appointment. The sales agent was extremely professional and definitely knew all of the "ins and outs" of his trade! He answered all of my questions in detail, informed me of the company credentials and licensing and showed me all of their certificates. I was very pleased with the quality of the products, they seem top notch to me. The installers were GREAT, they picked up extremely well after the job and my family and I are 110% pleased with the work. They added extra ventilation and over the remaining summer months we really noticed the crawl space / attic to be considerably cooler! It also seemed as though the house cooled off much faster and we actually noticed lower energy bills! I have already recommended Custom Home Improvements to family and friends, we were extremely impressed with this company!
