Description of Work: Replaced 5 Windows - Very professional. Chris and his team worked around my extremely busy and unpredictable military schedule. The install crew cleaned up nicely and did a superb job. Top quality work down to the last detail, even the caulk was seamless and neat.

Description of Work: Replaced my home's roof, and fixed the side door at garage. Top quality work. The roof was started and finished in one day. The clean up was complete, and the the crew departed before sunset. The neighbors have complemented on the workers and work. The door work was completed on a different day, and the quality of products and work are evident. We are very pleased as the team was responsive to our comments. Overall, from sales to completion, CUSTOM HOME IMPROVEMENT exceeded our expectations.

Description of Work: Roof replacement. It was not done well and I had to climb on the roof to find that out. Looked great from the street but looks are deceiving. They nailed new decking to rotted rafters. Removed decorative soffit work but refused to replace it and claimed it was not part of the roof. I do not hire people to do half a job. If you remove it then you should replace it, if it costs more then negotiate with me. We took pictures and videos of mistakes made along the way and only got excuses. After refusal to pay they responded with some repairs. Their 100 percent satisfaction guarantee before payment was bogus. Damaged our wood siding and aluminum trim in the roofing process and balked at fixing the problems. Pressured us to pay even though they had not yet fixed anything. They promised the roof vents would be the same color as the roof, but when they painted them black and we pointed it out they painted them brown and got over=spray all over the new shingles. It now looks terrible. After some repairs were made (replacing rotted rafter tails that we had expected to have done and had pointed out to the salesman in the beginning) we paid just to be done with them and get them off our property. But the nightmare was not over. Within a few days their collections department called threatening to turn us in to the credit bureaus We explained we had no power over the USPS. My wife was livid and in tears. They received the check the very next day (the morning of the 4th business day after they finished) and cashed it immediately (it showed on our statement). We feel we dealt honestly with them but were not treated well in return. A horrible experience that I would not desire anyone else to have.

Description of Work: Custom installed new large rear gutters. They look great and work well. We were unhappy with prior work performed by another contractor on our back porch, so we asked Custom if they could fix the porch. Custom provided a detailed analysis and completed the work as agreed to. We now have a great looking back porch that is maintenance free.

Description of Work: They installed a new roof system. The crew arrived approximately 0700, unloaded their equipment and started to work. They worked from the time they arrived until it was too dark to see. They returned the next morning to finish. Upon completion, they cleaned all around the house. They went around the house several times with a magnet to pick up all the nails. So far i have only seen two nails in the yard. The job from start to finish was truly professional. I will definitely use they again for my next project.

Description of Work: They replaced the gutters on my house. I had an appt. scheduled on Friday, Oct. 3 at 5. No one showed up. When I e-mailed them they said there must have been a mixup and rescheduled. They said they would call the night before they came out to do the gutters. I came home and they were already done. When I asked I was told that someone had gotten the message and it must have been misdialed.

Description of Work: Gutters and downspouts. Missed first appointment by 2 days. Initial installment went well but we requested to have one section revised. Installment crew appeared very disgruntled to have to amend initial work. Foreman very professional but installers were far from. Looking elsewhere for gutter covers this season.

Description of Work: They replaced the roof and gutters on a rental home and the roof on the detached garage. They did a great job. The replacement was quick, efficient, and professional.
