Crawl masters called me back promptly to make an appointment. They were not able to come on the first date we scheduled because of a terrible traffic event in the area. They were able to reschedule within the week. The workers were timely, asked what I was concerned about and suited up. They did a complete examination of the crawl space.. They said the space looked good, but recommended the installation of a dehumidifier. They did not try to sell me one or push any products. I really appreciate their suggestions and I highly suggest others call Crawl Masters for any foundation or crawl space issues.

In the middle of a major kitchen remodel it was discovered that we found significant damage in the crawl space of our home. We could not install the granite counter tops until the structural damage was corrected. Not knowing where to start I proceeded to get estimates from local contractors and ones that were nationally recognized. Four estimates where between 19 & 40 thousand. At this point I had a friend who was a Certified Home Inspector check the crawl space to verify what I was being told was actually so. He said approximately 70% of the supporting joists & sills were rotten due to water &/or moisture damage. There was no termite or insect damage. Desperate I remembered I?d signed up with Angie?s List when I started the kitchen project down. On Angie?s I found Crawl Masters, a small company with a few good reviews. I called & received a quick response from owner Mark Brown. He and David came out a few days later. I told them nothing of the other bids. They inspected the crawl and spoke with us and faxed a bid with a few days. We went over the scope of work in detail outlining all our concerns and requests. Note this was in the middle of January 2015 in terrible weather. On completion of the project I had the work inspected by paid independent home inspector who knew the scope of the work but not the cost. His comments were ? Materials are good quality, workmanship by Crawl Master Construction was very good and, the site was left neat and clean?. The few minor details were corrected in a timely manner. Mark, thank you for your work, attention to detail, and persistence through terrible weather. Your great communications in keeping us updated allowed us to continue working of the kitchen.

They were very professional - they called me to let me know they were running 30 minutes late. They did all the work from their previous written estimate. They cleaned up after the job and did great work. I will definitely call them in the future if I have any problems with the crawl space and would recommend them to anyone.

Mark Brown and his company were out in the pouring rain! That didn't stop them! They put up a tarp and kept on working until the job was done! Had a whole trailer full of gorgeous sound wood beams and joists they installed! What a wonderful job in pretty crummy weather. Diligent and worked at a steady pace to make sure the job was completed on time. I am the REALTOR who sold the home and was VERY IMPRESSED as we have seen many termite moisture companies in the field. Mark Brown is very honest and ethical and gets the job done!

Went great. Mark and David assessed the needs under the house. There was no oversell. They gave us a written estimate. The final price did not vary despite some unanticipated structural issue. It took two days to complete. Each day they cleaned up. It looks great under the house. They were very curtious.

I had a sagging floor in the master bedroom that was getting worse. I called Crawl Masters to give me an estimate on what needed to be done to fix the problem. They showed up on time and quickly went to work. They told me there where 2 bad sill beams and numerous bad joist. They gave me an estimate for the repairs that I thought was very reasonable considering this house has a very low crawl space. I called back the next week to set up a time for them to do the job. They came on that day and made the repairs. When done they showed me pictures of the repairs and also reported to me the condition of the plumbing and hvac systems in the area that they worked. The floor is sturdy and level and I am very happy with there work. I will call them in the future if I have any problem or concerns with the crawl space and would recommend them to anyone needing such work. They where professional and cleaned up after the job and did great work

With my minor standing water issue in my crawl space, Crawl Masters did not sell me what I didn't need and they didn't try to make my crawl space issue worse than it is, unlike the majority of the companies trying to get you to encapsulate and spend major money. Mark Brown at Crawl Masters was honest, efficient, productive, fair and beat any price in town. He removed and replaced the old poly liner and replaced it with a thicker poly liner and brought to the wall as well as wrapping the footer, also adding sand where needed. He installed vent wells and was careful to look out for irrigation lines so that he would not penetrate them. At the end of the day compared to 9 other mositure/pest control companies that estimated and evaluated my crawlspace, Mark Brown at Crawl Masters was above and beyond the rest. Not only should you take my word for it, you should see for yourself and give them a call - 757-617-1005. They have become my go to company for all my crawl space issues!

Crawl Masters’ binding estimate was a fraction of what other companies wanted to charge. Initially, I was reluctant to engage Crawl Masters because it is a newer company than its competitors and because its owners are young. Ultimately, I contracted with them not only because of the great price they offered but also because their explanation of what was needed and why made the most sense. I also appreciated the fact that they did not talk down to me or try to rip me off as a woman head of household. Their work was excellent. They did exactly what they told me they would do for the price they indicated, and they got it done in the specified time window. They provided me with photos of their work in the crawl. They also were thorough in their clean up and created minimal disruption while I worked from home. In addition, they suggested a reputable company to do some additional work I wanted (repairing and wrapping the duct work in the crawl space). They clearly took pride in their work and were focused on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Crawl Masters.

We love them. They we punctual and informative. They told us of more damage and fixed it as well. Did a great job.

Their was some interruption in the work but it did not effect me at all. They found additional damaged under the house they correct it but first off all he said if my names goes on this thing I want to make sure everything is perfect and right. I said good deal. They went above and beyond. They did additional work and they were the lowest priced. I was very impressed with these guys. Prices that they quote are lower then the big guys.

Crawl Masters was simply great in every respect. Mark and David did an excellent job in everything they did. They were not only professional, but went beyond to ensure I was properly protected in my crawl space. They were perfectly honest, fairly priced, and even completed some work that I was not contracted for them to do at no charge. They have my strongest recommendation for anything involving crawl spaces, termite and pest control or anything having to do with under your home. I couldn't be happier with the results!

I was very impressed with these young men. They are prompt, courteous and professional. They cleaned up every scrap of the old poly and did an excellent job of putting the new poly down with fasteners. Mark took pictures when the job was complete and showed me the rotted sill he had put in his truck. They have offered to come back in the summer to go back under the house and check again for moisture. If the space is not dry I think they will be recommending a dehumidifer .
