I came home on one of the hottest days of the year to find my A/C was blowing warm air. I called Climatemakers because they had done work on the system for the previous owner, and they were rated highly on Angies List. The woman who answered the phone gave me several suggestions of things to try myself, and told me to call back the next day if I still needed help. Unfortunately i still needed assistance. Despite the fact that the next day was Saturday, it was the middle of a record-breaking heat wave, and I was not a previous customer, when I called them at 8am they were able to have a technician at my house before 11am. The technician was extremely professional and polite. He took his shoes off before coming into the house! He asked several questions and checked out the system. I was afraid I would need a freon charge, but he told me he thought the outside unit just needed a good cleaning. In two hours my system was checked and cleaned, and was putting out cold air again. I will definitely call them the next time I need HVAC service.

The estimator was fantastic, professional and really had a lot of confidence. The service itself was fantastic. They did something a little special for me. We were having the system replaced but in the meantime something happened and we needed to have it bumped up two weeks on the list and they were able to do that without inconveniencing anybody else. They were able to make a switch among the customers. They go the extra mile. I will and have used them again.

The work couldn't have been better. They were very prompt, thorough and timely. They were good people to work with. I would absolutely use them again.

It was a big job. In the end the work turned out fine. There were no issues when they were finished. Their best quality was how accessible they were. I could go in and talk to the manager, not the owner. The owner is a lady and she is a business person. Her main guy for all the work and production is very accessible. He is an approachable guy. You can see him whenever you want to talk to him and have him answer any questions. A lot of the people in this business hire a lot of folks that are learning on the job, especially in the time frame that I was having it installed which was May of last year. That's a huge season for them when they go into the cooling season and also the heating season. At first I thought there was going to be a problem. Their team lead guy got seriously ill. It was a 4 day job as I recall. It might have been a 4 day for the downstairs and a 4 day for the upstairs. He was gone for days, but they had someone else out and the manager himself came out several times a day to oversee the work. In the end, I was very pleased with them. Their price was competitive and it was reasonable. The quality of work and service was above average. I will be contracting with them for my annual service.

Making the appointment seemed to be a bit of an inconvenience for the woman on the phone, but they were able to set up an appointment within a week, which was important. The tech arrived on time and was very couteous to me. He did, however, seem to spend an inordinate amount of time on the phone while he was performing the service. The unit sits right outside the window of my home office, where I was working, and I heard a whole lot of chatter combined with the noise of the hoses and tools. The price seemed reasonable since it includes a fall cleaning as well.

We were satisfied with them. They were pretty dependable and showed up on time. They finished the job quickly and seemed to be very concerned about our impression of their work. They kept on asking if there were any problems and they were a very professional group to work with. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

I like everything about them. I like their service, backup, equipment and material. I didn?t pay them anything yet because we are still waiting for a part; I think that their price is reasonable. The unit rarely breaks down, and only the manufacturer has the spare part. I would rate them highly.

Existing unit found to have crack in heat exchanger. Plus for some time we have been having trouble with excess dust in several rooms of the residence. Several estimates were secured, with Climatemakers being not the least cost, but the most through to address all of our concerns. After review of information at hand from this and other companies we decided to go with Climatemakers. Our installation time was estimated to be five days, and start two weeks later. In our conversation with our sales rep Mark Matthews, it was mention that a pre plan dinner was to be held on the 12th of the month, and installation was to start on the 13th. In passing he was told about one of our guest being very ill, and we were concern about the comfort of the house at time of the dinner. Mark said he had an idea and would get back to us. The next day he informed us that the job in front of us agreed that time was not that important to them, so they traded time slots with us. Greatly appreciated, and shows that doing business with a local business puts the interest of the customers first. For the crew 1st class all the way, each and every day the job was left in a clean and orderly manner, The crew arrived on time each and every day, went to work without a lot of distracting noise, and at all times were very polite. Two days after job was completed a quality inspector from the company came out and spent a hour or better going over the complete installation, and making sure that we knew how to operated our system. Can't say that we enjoyed spending the money, but sure feel that we got dollar value with this installation.

It went pretty good, except one thing wrong, which was a communication issue. I had wanted them to move it back a few feet because it was right in the doorway of the attic. Well, they forgot to move it back, so I called them about it and they came right out the next day and moved everything back and didn't charge me anything for it! I was happy with the service! It's working! And I can get in my attic easier! They also come back out after its been in a week for a final inspection just to check it over and make sure everything is okay and they actually made some really minor adjustments, but I liked that follow up.

It started off OK, but then they spilled oil under my house, which was a problem. I had to get the Department of Environmental Quality of Virginia to come out to make sure the company had cleaned up all the oil. I could smell oil in my house for quite a while.

It has been a family business for many years, and is owned by a woman. I called them a few years ago when the heat went out, and it was cold. They stayed until they got heat running for me. I have a water to air system, and not too many companies know how to work with something like that. They really are a good company. They are very personable and very knowledgeable. I also think that if you are a contract customer, that you are higher up on the list of priority calls if there is for instance, really cold weather, and a lot of people are calling.

They were very professional. They got the work done on time. Their estimate was exactly what I paid. It was a big job, but I am very happy with how it turned out. They were right on time. They provided portable heating units while our heat was out.

I paid 150 dollars for each unit and I liked using them. That is all I have to say.

I feel that they are more professional than other companies. I get a monthly news letter from them in my email. They are reliable and the quality of the work is excellent. The price is a little high but worth it.

They did well servicing my a/c. I assumed the maintenance agreement would cover everything, but I was wrong. When they came out to service the furnace I provided the air and oil filter. I did not provide a nozzle, which I did expect to pay for. He said it was $30, which I thought was too much. I called several times about it. I finally talked to someone. He did admit they were in business to make money, but agreed to give $5 back.

They used a high tech device to clean my ducts and they seemed to know what had to be done. They were very careful not to break anything and they wore boot covers so they didn t get the floors dirty. They also did a maintenance check and found out that I needed a new heat pump so they replaced that also. The annual maintenance fee was $180.

I have used Climatemakers for twenty years and I have no reason to change. I get great service from them and the technician is very friendly and professional. They come out twice a year to inspect the system. I was not charged for the loose wire on the system.

Climatemakers LTD of Virginia did a thorough check up of the units and made sure we wouldn't have any problems for the most part. They have never tried to mislead or offer anything we didn't ask for and the units have run up to par like they said they would. I couldn't remember the exact price, but I think it was in the 60-80 dollar range.

Climatemakers did a great job of installing our unit. We were very happy with the job that they did. Our system works great, and we have not had any problems with it at all since the installation was done.

They come out a couple times a year to check the units, and we really enjoyed having them. We knew we would get trustworthy feedback and advice from this company. The units have run just like they said they would. That was one of the reasons we had a contract with them. They were very knowledgeable in their field and they never have been a hassle to us in any way.

Climatemakers Limited of Virginia did an outstanding job putting in our system. They truly were a very good company. I was very satisfied with the work they did for me and I would definitely recommend this company to other home owners.
