It is a small practice and I think they have three doctors and nurse probationers. They provide good service and they are organized. They seem to be well managed. Dr. Blackwood is one of the doctors that focus on the prevention rather than just to give you more medicine. That is the thing I like about him. You don’t feel like you are a part of an assembly line and he spends a lot of time with you. It is not a new building but it is clean and well maintained.

I like the fact that Dr. Robert Blackwood is very personal.

They communicated a specific care for my husband which I appreciated. They take our whole family which is very important to me, I just value our whole family going to one place and they're always efficient as far as insurance and everything. I never had a problem with scheduling. They're easy to get a hold of. It's wonderful because it's an existential place for your whole family's care.

Dr. Robert C. Blackwood has a real good practice and he listens to his patients. We have seen Dr. Blackwood off and on for 20 years. He pays attention to his patients and he really shows concern for whatever your condition is and he is willing to refer you to someone else if he can't do it and he doesn't fiddle around doing it.

Dr. Blackwood and I came away from the meeting agreeing that open communication is vital in the success of his practice and my efforts to guard my well being. I admire the man for providing the opportunity to clear up the misunderstanding and take incident to educate his staff.

He has very up to date equipment. He answers your questions in ways you can understand. He talks on your level. He makes things comfortable. He and his wife are extremely nice.

I have never received a call from the office manager. One week prior to surgery (on Monday), I began running a fever, respiratory issues, I called to see if I could get in to be seen and I was offered an appointment on Thursday. When I pushed, I was told the earliest was Tuesday. I went to Urgent Care and called them back to cancel the appointment. It is Thursday, I received a dismissal letter in the mail from Dr. Blackwood. I have never talked to Dr. Blackwood, never even met this person. Knowing I am going in for surgery on Monday, I feel this unethical of a physician, not mention unprofessional.

I have been pleased with his care. I would recommend him.

He says he takes care of his patients like he does for his own family. I think he is a great man.

They have been my and my husband's primary care for many years. Even though I'm only in there once a year or less, Dr. Blackwood remembers me and asks about my family. You just don't get that kind of personal care from a doctor anymore! Unfortunately, it's difficult to get in there when I have an urgent condition and I usually end up at Patient First. They do a great job of coordinating the medical information from my other providers. The office is sparse, not fancy, but the staff is great and very friendly. Wait time for my appointment this morning was about 20 minutes after my scheduled time.

I go to Dr. Blackwood’s office frequently. I had been feeling very bad and I had no energy. I was having appearances of thrush in my mouth. So I went to another practice and the first doctor over there said that he could handle only one symptom at a time. I then went to one of the other doctor’s in that practice and she said it was all hormone related since I am 55. She put me on a bunch of hormones, but I was still not getting any better. So I went to Dr. Blackwood’s office. Another doctor over there sat down with me and asked me to tell her everything and not to miss anything. I sat there and talked to her for about half an hour. I then told her about the thrush, the pains and how tired I was feeling. She immediately sent me down the hall for blood work and they called me the next day. I was diagnosed with full fledged mononucleosis and my spleen was almost ready to rupture. They are fabulous. They take their time. They listen to you. It’s not a fancy office. It doesn’t have the flat screen TV’s, aquariums, collection of Disney characters and all that, but they do take care of you when you are sick. They also follow up. They call you and tell you about any lab work regardless of whether it’s normal or not. I haven’t had a single problem with the billing. They submit everything. It’s coded right. They get paid and I get whatever I am supposed to get. It’s fantastic. I can’t say enough. It was an ongoing site. I was spending four hours a week when I was going to the other facility to make sure that my billing was right. Dr. Blackwood's office is very professional and friendly. The staff is very good. I am going to their office at 1 o’clock today. Dr. Blackwood dismissed me from his practice because his staff has had an issue. Rather than say there was a mix up, miscommunication, misunderstanding...you're dismissed.

Dr. Greele has since gone to the military care and the physician's assistant has been offered an Administrator's position with one of the major hospitals, but I have confidence that Dr. Blackwell will settle for nothing short of people that will truly listen, be empathic, and knowledgeable.

They are my heros.

I am satisfied with him and I will continue to use him.

I didn't see him at first, but I saw his nurse practitioner; she was very personable. My wife saw the doctor himself - she saw he was great. He really took time with each of his patients

Dr. Blackwood is great! He spends lots of time with his patients and really listens.
