Description of Work: Installed two helical piers to lift a corner of my foundation. Communication lacked in the area of when the engineer was coming out and when the project would start. Felt as if I wasn't kept in the loop as to what was transpiring in the projects progression. I had to contact them to ask where things were in the process. The work was done, problem corrected and a reasonable price. Everything I requested was provided for me in writing.

Description of Work: Jason came out and was very professional from the start. He inspected the house very thoroughly inside and out. There was no pressure. He even requested a copy of the home inspection report and gave me the phone number to city inspections and permits to request the history on the house. He also said that he would schedule another appointment for one of his workers to come out and do a more thorough inspection in the crawl space. He couldn't because of back issues. In addition, he gave me a lot of advice to prevent problems from occurring/worsening. Highly recommend! No work has been performed yet.

Description of Work: House had to be rised in two separate places to correct cracks and settling issues. They did the work quickly and they did an outsanding job. The repair after more than a year has corrected the problem with no new issues. I would highly recommend this company to do this type of work.

Description of Work: A support pillar at the corner of our house had sunk and partially collapsed at some point over the past six months. It caused cracks in the brick facing on one side of the house, a collapsed vent on that same side, and a separation between bricks at the front corner. Bedrock Foundation Systems, Inc., of Virginia Beach, Va., was one of three foundation systems I contacted to diagnose and submit a repair proposal to correct the problem. Of all three of the companies, Bedrock Foundation Systems was the only company that brought in a structural engineer to confirm their initial diagnosis and proposal, before applying for a City Permit to do the work. The work included installing three Helical Piers (two for the front corner and one for the left corner); lifting the foundation as one unit; replacing both foundation vents; replacing broken CMU block on the inside corner; pack the voids between the footer and support bracket with structural grout; pointing up the mortar joints that were affected; cleaning up all construction debris and removing from property; checking for space between all the tops of the piers and support beams under the house and shim as needed. The cost of $5,000.00 was all inclusive, (guaranteed maximum price) even if they came across another problem in the same area, once the work began. By comparison, neither of the other two companies would bring in a structural engineer to confirm the diagnosis of the problem. And, one of the company's proposals cost estimate was double the amount ($10,000) for the same amount of work without the services of a structural engineer to confirm the diagnosis and proposed repair.

Description of Work: We had to have some repairs done to the foundation in the crawl space under our house. It was uneven and someone had cut into it and compromised the integrity so Bedrock Foundation Systems had to repair it.

After a thorough inspection, the Owner did not find any structural damage and left with a hand shake. The fact that he did not try to "sell" me a service was refreshing. Should I own a house needing foundation repair, I would definitely use this trustworthy company.
