Beach was the middle bid of 3 bids. Good work, good clean up, They did everything they promised. I will use them again

Beach Windows and Siding did a great job replacing our 22 windows and wrapping the trim in a day and ½. The workers were friendly and polite. They were a well-choreographed team. Each person knew their job and within about 2 hours of arriving all old windows had been removed and the new windows were in place. They even cleaned the windows. The new windows are great.

NOT WELL,THEY DROPPED THE BALL AND LOST MY BUSINESS

The owner actually came and provided us with the estimate. he showed us a couple of types of windows. We had four different companies come out and give us estimates. He was the most genuine and honest. He was also one of the few that did not bad mouth any of his competitors. This one trait is VERY important to me. If you can not look good by your reputation alone and you need to put others down to look better, something is wrong . We ended up deciding on a brand I was not familiar with, OKNA. He allowed us to think about it and reserach it online before making a final decision. We signed a contract a couple days later and the team came about a month later to install the windows. The team was fantastic. Although they had to work around some flowers and shrubs, they were careful and did not trample anything. They took out the old windows and examined the surronding area for wood rot. there was only one instance where we needed to replace some trim and they did it on the spot after talking with us. The windows look wonderful. They are easy to use and clean. We could not be happier. I am glad to recommend them to everyone.

I used their services four months ago. Workmanship was good. The quality of work was good. Communication was slightly lacking. The quote was good. The estimate and workmanship was good.

Beach Siding caused serious damage to my house in 2 places. Damage that they knew about when it happened but did not disclose. They left me to discover the damage months later resulting in more expensive and more difficult repairs. Problem #1: They cut through the rubber membrane roof that covers a second floor bedroom. The damage was unmistakable and the person responsible must have known that a mistake was made. When the heavy spring rains revealed a major leak, the repair crew discovered the cause. I called Beach Siding 4 times and had to beg to get someone to come out to the house. By then, the roof damage had been repaired. It was raining, I could not leave it leaking. They said that the roof showed no signs of damage and that the leak was caused by a preexisting condition. They denied any responsibility. The owner was dismissive when I tried to explain the situation to him. He repeatedly cut off my explanations by telling me he had been in this business for many years. He implied that my input carried no weight compared to his vast experience. Problem #2: Beach Siding cut the line that carries coolant to my air conditioner. The system is under pressure and had just been topped off with coolant at the end of the summer. The cut was made with a saw and was quite large. The rush of a large amount of coolant escaping under pressure would have been unmistakable and the damage was readily visible. Instead of admitting what had happened, they put a duct tape patch on the line, plywood and siding on top. I wish I could post a picture of the damage and that ridiculous patch. When I discovered my AC was not working this summer, I had to spend 2 days at home getting it fixed. First a day to have the AC people tell me the problem was the coolant line. Second a day with the siding and AC people both there to pull the siding and plywood off the house and repair the line. No apology, no call from anyone at the company. They covered the cost of the AC repair but not my wasted time. Part of the reason I went with Beach Siding was that the owner assured me that they had stable work crews, that he new all of his crew by name, that they weren't hiring sloppy sub-contractors or day laborers. Well, wow, if this is the work that his trusted crew does, what does that say about the company? In summary, sloppy, unprofessional, dishonest, unresponsive to complaints, unapologetic.

In spite of several days of rain delays or slowdowns, the complete job on our two story house was completed in less than two weeks. The difference is absolutely amazing! The quality was top-notch and the workers were all friendly and courteous. Clean-up was done each day and the foreman inspected the house with me 2-3 times to ensure I was satisfied with the results. John Barringer (owner) and the foreman came by after the job was completed for yet another walk-around; a couple relatively minor items were found and will be corrected ASAP. John also encouraged us to call him if we find anything else that needs correcting, even months from now, so they can "make it right". I will highly recommend Beach Windows & Siding for their high quality products, professional installation, and very attentive customer service!

It was great! They did a very good job and they were very competitive on their price. We went went them because they had good feedback and reasonable prices!

The salesman was over an hour late arriving for the appointment, but apologized and seemed knowledgeable and competent. The estimate and quality of materials seemed good overall, and we followed up with a visit to the showroom to see them in person. After comparing this estimate and warranty to another company's, we were pleased and ready to order. Then, after a few days of unreturned phone calls from the salesperson, we were informed by the employees we had spoken with that they had left the company, and would not be affiliated with them any longer. This experience convinced us to use the competitor's company, with a national network and warranty.

I contacted and received bids from 4 companies before I found Beach Siding and Windows through Angie's List. I was very impressed by the reviews they received from previous customers and so I gave Beach Siding a call. One of the things I was impressed with right off the bat was their selection of windows. It can be a little overwhelming making a large, infrequent purchase such as windows and the fact that each company I received bids from pushed their own particular brand of window made the decision even harder. There were windows I liked from companies I wasn't as sure about. That is not a problem with Beach Siding and Windows. They offer windows by several different manufacturers and their salesmen do a good job of helping you select the best option for your particular circumstance. In my case, the house we were replacing the windows in was a primary residence, but we are planning on moving in a few months and turning this house into a rental. Our salesman actually helped guide me to a less expensive model window. The installation itself was unbelievable. First, the windows were delievered in only three weeks versus the four to eight weeks we had been told. Faster is always better. The crew that was sent to my house was terrific. Everyone was neat and clean, very friendly (my two-and-a-half year old son really enjoyed watching them work and they enjoyed his company as well), and worked unbelieveably fast. All 15 windows were replaced in just over three hours including all wrapping, caulking, and clean-up. When they were done, the job site was spotless. I couldn't be ahppier and I will definitely be using them for more jobs in the future.

Overall we are very pleased with Beach Windows and Siding. We found the salesman very knowledgeable and polite. He did not pressure us at all, which was good since we took our time making the decision and did a bit of research. The entire process was fairly effortless, with two small "hic-ups". Since my husband and I both work we scheduled our installation over Christmas break to avoid having to take time off from work. On the date of our scheduled installation (December 28th) no one showed or called so I contacted their office. The young lady who answered the phone was very concerned about this and said she would check into it and call right back, which she did. She was extremely apologetic and explained a number of workers on the installation team were sick and they had not contacted anyone in the office. She then offered to have a different team come out on Sunday. This whole mix up may have been a good thing since the team that showed up bright and early Sunday morning were outstanding. Our 30 year old wooden windows were out in no time replaced with solid, energy efficient new windows. They did an excellent job and we are very pleased our new windows. The other very small issue was we were promised a "touch-up" kit and have not received it yet. However, the windows were installed so well that there are very few spots we really need it. We are very pleased with Beach Windows and Siding and intend to use them again for other home improvement jobs in the near future.

The company came to my home for an estimate. The estimation included working with me on custom framing for a large single window that I wanted to make into three separate windows. The sales agent also did lead paint testing and explained the whole process of testing and removing lead paint. Once I decided on working with this company, they came out two more times for measurements to ensure accuracy. On the day of installation, the guys were on time and professional. Also, the installation only took them one day to install 19 windows and custom framing. I was very impressed. I have had no problems with the windows and framing. And they look beautiful!

They did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I met with John Otocka back in September of 2012. He gave me what I thought was a good price. I had also shopped other contractors in the area. He was helpful with helping me with a problem that I was having with a claim that I filed with State Farm insurance for water damage. His company started work on the house the week after Hurricane Sandy hit. His work crew showed up to the house without the dumpter being in place. They made quite a mess for a couple of days. I sent pictures to John asking when is the dumpster arriving and how come the crew left for lunch and didn't come back the first day? Nonetheless, they were messy workers in that debris extended beyond my property and often into my neighbors yard next door to the left and right of my house. The work crew did not have good command of the English languange so communicating with them was a challenge. Spanish was their primary language. After the work was completed, my fence was damaged, not reinstalled properly and I went back and forth with them regarding how it was going to be repaired. Over a month went by. I was concerned that they would leave my job and go start on another when there were issues still yet to be resolved with the work done at my home. The last time I heard from John Otocka was at the beginning of the year. He is no longer with the company. John B. (the other owne)r told me in January that he would send someone out and get back to me about the repairing and leveling of the fence. To date I have not heard from him or any rep for his company. I had siding installed on the entire house, installed underneath the siding was Raindrop, and 22 windows were wrapped with vinyl. I didn't like that once I remitted payment for the work it took over a month to receive a receipt! I don't understand their bookkeeping that a customer has to wait months to receive a receipt for payment.

They did an excellent job. I was impressed with how clean they left the yard and house when they left. We had four guys come out they started a little after 8 am and were done by 3 pm.

I had used them before. I like them because they are prompt with their service process; all the way from estimates to installation. They cleaned up afterwords and I didn't have a problem with anything. I'd definitely recommend them to everyone.

Great service from start to finish!

Service was good. They had to come back and replace two of the new window sashes, and fix the install on a third. One was cracked when they un wrapped it, and the other had a nick in the seal. Additionally a third one needed to be reset (could see daylight between the frame and sashes). One thing that was not accurate during the initial quote (as thought by me) prior to install, was the final price. It did not match the quote given. We ended up paying an extra $210.00, due to additional work required during install (identified by the employee who wrote the quote, and knew about it, but did not convey it to clearly). This resulted in the company requesting an additional $420.00, and once it was made aware to me - I split the cost with the owner, who I will say was fair about it.

They did a great job installing the windows and I was extremely happy with the outside trim that they did. They did a thorough job cleaning up.

Prompt estimate. Prompt installation. Professional installers. Great clean-up, care with our furniture, processions. Fairly priced.

Beach Windows were very prompt about coming out to give us an estimate which was exactly what we paid. The salesman and the installation crew were very friendly and professional. Would have no problem working with them again in the future. We are very pleased with the product and installation. Did not do the front windows because we wanted to preserve the colonial look and have seen some botched jobs in the neighborhood. If, in the future, we decide to have new windows installed in front, Beach Windows will definitely be contacted to quote on the job. The only reason a B is given on responsiveness is we had called about having the front windows wrapped. An appointment was set-up for the representative to come out. They did not show up for that appointment.

I spoke with 3 companies before deciding on Beach. The salesperson Brian was friendly and informative. He did not spend a lot of time berating the other companies. He gave me the technical information on the windows they sold and invited me to compare the ratings. I did that and felt Beach would be the best fit for me. I did not choose their least expensive window, but, instead went with one that seemed to offer increased efficiency for a reasonable price. There was one other visit to confirm measurements and expectations and the order was placed. It did take 6-7 weeks for the windows to be manufactured. The crew (Greg, Tom, James and Trevor) arrived promptly at 9:00am and went to work. These guys were fantastic and thorough. They all had a friendly demeanor and knew exactly what they were doing. One gentleman worked inside on the lead paint abatement while the others got to work outside. They informed us that they would be finished by 3pm and they were almost right on the dot! I feel as though we received both an excellent service and product. I have 7 more windows to replace and can't wait to have them come out and finish the job. Their attention to detail is commendable. Last but not least, the best thing is you don't pay anything until the job is complete! Great job by a great company. 11-7-2012 Just went through Sandy and was very pleased with my water tight windows. We also notice a distinct difference in our den. It's not cold and drafty like it was before the window installation. Thanks Beach!

We were quite pleaded with them. They were on time and within their estimate. The crew was very friendly and very professional too! They did even play a radio.

I elected not to use them. The price was a little higher than I wanted to go with. They were diligent and gave me a good quote but the price was too much. They were on time.
