It went well, the floors look great, and the final price was almost the same as estimated. The workers were respectful and professional.

They were to install tile for 4 bathroom floors and 1 bathrrom shower and a laundry room. They started the job on March 17 and after almost two weeks were not complete. Upon inspection of the half completed work, it was so bad that almost all of the work had to be torn out and redone. They agreed to tear out e tile and redo because they agreed that the work was terrible and said they fired one of their employees that was installing at our job. They did come back and tear out their poor work and Installed the flooring and started to prep the shower. But they stopped and never returned. I called and emailed and texts and no return call. Finally I advised them that I'd have to hire someone else to complete the job if they didn't reach me. So that's what I did. So I addition to having to repurchase a majority of my tile ($1500) i then had to pay another company $2500 to fix and complete their work. I had paid them $2000.00 at the start of the job. The job that was suppose to be $3800.00 by their quote ended up costing me $6000 . They will be hearing from me in court!

***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*** If you want the inside of your entire house to be filled and coated with board dust then this is the company to call. Great job with coating the inside of my home, walls, furniture, etc with saw dust! After installation there were missing floor molding where the workers removed from closet areas. When I asked arent you gunna put the molding back? I was told...oh, you will have to replace them yourself, you can get the stuff at Lowes or Home Depot. Did not nail in a strip of 1/2 round molding. I had to do it myself. Several gaps were discovered between many of the flooring pieces. Had to have someone else come in and fix. There was no project manager on site at all, work done by young adults who really dont give a d*** about quality workmanship or messing up your home. They did all the cutting INSIDE of the house thus creating a huge mess. Good example of a company that strickly wants your money quick and leaves you with poor quality work and a huge mess to clean up.

[members names removed], We were blindsided by your cutoff of communication. It wasn't until we had to take you to court to even hear of any of said problems. To Angie's List members: This customer is slandering my company. We had won judgement in court. There are professional customers out there like [members names removed] who prey on smaller companies like mine. I have attached below the last correspondence that should shine some light to the other potential clients that will read this. **Your invoice is attached. After job was complete on Tuesday, June 11th, you were happy with the floor but wanted to wait for your husband to look at the floor before final payment. Come the day after you said you were very upset about the dust in the house after the fact you said to Jason and our guys that the house was so clean. After seeing that you had laminate installed in your home previously, you knew about dust created from tearing out carpet, pad, tack strip, sweeping, and cutting door jambs. When I called the next day, you stated that you said you were too upset to talk to me and to call back in a few days. We have tried contacting you several times on your cell phone and house phone. We have not heard anything back. At least a curtosy of letting us know what is wrong with the job for reason of non-payment would be the right thing to do. We have worked with you over a course of a month or so before you made a decision. I had typed up multiple bids for different products as well. For not returning any of our phone calls is very unethical on your part. A deposit on this job is acceptance of the bid. We want all of our customers to be satisfied with our work. Please give us a call or send an email so we can resolve this before we need to take legal action.** BEACH HARDWOOD FLOORS is a licensed and insured company that is has been in business for 10 years and has done so by providing quality workmanship and customer service.

Could not possibly have gone any better. Crew was super nice, job was completed on time and the floors are absolutely spectacular. You can't tell the new hardwoods from the original and everyone raves about how amazing they look. Beach Hardwoods is the place to go. No way would I use anyone else.
Description of Work: Added subflooring to area where old kitchen and den floors were removed, added on to that with new hardwood flooring, added new wood transition to join the new and old hardwoods and refinished existing hardwoods in remainder of 2,000 SF house to match the new flooring. Work was done quickly and they completely cleaned up after the job. Not a trace of dust left. My wife was unsure about what shade to stain the floors. Brad brought the two shades she was trying to decide on, stained an area with each one, let it dry so she could see what it would really look like and then went back and sanded each off once she decided. No extra charge for a good deal of extra work. After the job was done, we bought what we thought were exact replacement registers to take the place of the original ones. They did not fit the cutouts and we had to call Brad from Beach Hardwoods to come fix what we THOUGHT was his crew's mistake. Turns out the new registers were just slightly larger, in spite of the supplier saying they were a match. Brad enlarged the cutout for each register, made sure they fit and then didn't even charge us.

Member, I was first confused to see this review a year after we had completed your job in December 2011. I called you to try and resolve any issues with your floor free of charge (free buff and coat). I apologize for the lack of communication. It pains me to see this terrible review from one unhappy customer when we have hundreds of happy ones. My offer still stands to put a new coat of finish on your floor and hopefully get within your good graces again. Sincerely, Brad Payne

It took a few days because they had to wait for the coatings to dry in between sandings but we were happy with the finished product. The floors had some water damaged areas from the previous owners but I feel that they did a good job of making these areas look as best as they could. I did notice a few spots that they may have missed (not enough sanding or thin on urethane) near the edges but it was nothing significant and this is why I gave them a B for quality. Also since I did not use other companies (they quoted me around $500 more for the same job) I am not sure if the floors could have looked better when finished but I was happy to save some cash and was happy to see my floors go from dull and nasty to shiny and smooth.
Description of Work: We had Beach Floors refinish our old hardwood floors. I believe they are made of white oak. The total footage was approximately 650 sq ft. They were in very rough shape and when they were finished we where very happy with the results. We had them perform the work before moving into the house so there would be no furniture to move.
