Beach Brothers Contracting

4/25/2023 Grab your check book and run, do not walk, as far as you can from doing business with this company. They are a rip off and what work they do complete is poorly done. We paid our down payment of nearly 15k and the "design fee" was estimated at $2500 was to come out of that. They came back and wanted 50% more money than was budgeted for the project and discussed at the first several meetings. We said no thank you and then the "design fee" jumped to $7500 and claimed that was non refundable. I felt like they had us over a barrel but we didn't t want to just walk away from all that money. After several months of going back and forth we agreed to move forward. I wish we had just lit the 15k on fire and walked away. The 4-6 week estimate has turned into 26 weeks and counting. They did not adhere to the design we paid so much for. They did not replace the footers or framework under the sun porch, they just covered up the rotting wood. They installed a leaky French door, put on hardware that does not match the other inside or outside, installed the deck stairs improperly, didn't install the hot tub pad at all, and consistently left the work site a mess for months while we waited for them to show back up. They claimed they ordered the windows for the project at the start, but 6 months later and no windows and no communication as to when they will return to complete the job despite repeated calls texts and emails. Hiring them is our biggest regret. I hope this review helps someone who is considering doing business with these clowns. You can't say you haven't even warned.

Where to start here. Recommended to use this business from a Facebook group. The beginning process was good, they were quick to get us scheduled for a new roof and we were happy with the customer service in the beginning. This company does contract out their work so expect that if you choose to use them. The individuals they sent out to replace our roof were a crew of three workers. Day one seemed to go ok but the problems began on day two. Issues pointed out with rotting plywood on our roof were not properly addressed and the roofers had to be pulled off the roof and told the plywood needed to be replaced in that particular section. When this was brought to the company’s attention, we were told it did not need replacing and the company trusted their workers. I on the other hand trusted my husbands judgement as he has personally been able to push his finger through the plywood that had an active water leak. Additionally, the workers did not remove the skylight as they were asked to do so and again we had to babysit and call the contractor to ensure the job was properly done. The workers still ended up leaving ok day two with the skylight not done and no explanation provided. We again had to call the company to find out that the possibility of rain had the workers leave to come back days later to do the job. They did finally finish on the 3rd day and proceeded to leave the garbage and debris on the side of our house from the skylight removal. The lack of communication and overall poor customer service didn’t even prompt me to leave this review. Two weeks later, we went to turn our AC on and wow it didn’t work even though it had previously worked this year. We have an older unit so I didn’t even think about the roof. We had a company come out the following morning who stated there was a leak but they were unable to tell where. A full replacement was recommended due to this and we scheduled the repair for the following day. When that company came out and began looking at the lines in the attic, they came out with pictures to show us what had happened. Apparently, the roofing contractor from the company that trusted them so much, had shot a nail through our AC line. Instead of telling us, they TAPED over it with some useless, crappy tape. Their negligence left us without AC for multiple days with temps in the high 80’s to low 90’s. Once it was brought to the company’s attention, Lon was rude and insensitive to the situation over the phone. Over a week went by with no communication once again. After multiple calls and Facebook messages, a worker showed up with a measley check that no where near came close to the cost of the new unit or the **** we went through during the roofing and AC process. Needless to say I will NOT be using this company again.

It didn’t,An appointment was made for Thursday at 4 o’clock to get an estimate I did not get a call nor did anybody show up I didn’t get a text . GREAT WAY TO DO BUSINESS...... I am going w/ someone else......

We are in the middle of a home remodel. Beach Brothers is doing an awesome job. Lon is quick to respond to any questions and has very fair pricing. I had many contractors come to evaluate my job and BB blew everyone else out of the water. They just finished their first week of work at our house and the progress is amazing. Each one of the crew members is very professional and respectful. They show up on time everyday and work efficiently until it's time to go home. At the end of the day Friday they swept everything and even took the time to wipe all the dust off of every surface. If you are in need of a general contractor I highly recommend them. Can't wait to see the finished product.
