Response from Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Corporation
I am writing this response in reference to your review, dated May 8, 2020… First of all, I would like to thank you for your feedback, it’s always appreciated. Upon review of your posting, I believe there may have been some sort of miscommunication, which I am more than happy to explain for you now… Please note that we always give “free estimates” on large jobs; such as replacing an entire water or sewer line, as well as supplying and installing new tankless water heaters. However, on service and repair jobs, we do charge a small service fee if we do not stay and do any work. I noticed that you listed your description of work as “Installing a plumbing fixture”, which we consider to be service and repair work. In order to provide our customers with the best plumbing service possible, we always come out to take a look at the job first, answer any questions or concerns our customers may have, and discuss with them all of their options so they can choose whichever scenario works best for their specific needs. This way, the customer knows up front and in person exactly what they’re facing, what to expect from us, and what the total cost of the repairs will be. Basically, we send a qualified licensed plumber out to your home to give you a professional recommendation with solutions to solve your plumbing problem. If we stay and do the repair right then, the $69.00 plumbing service fee is never charged to you – It’s our way of saying “thank you” for hiring us to do the work for you. However, if for some reason you decide not to have us stay and complete the work right away, then you only pay the cost of our service fee to come out. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings, but in the meantime, if you should have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at (757) 464-2934, or via email: office@atomicplumbing.com. Thank you for your business and have a great day! Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning
