Description of Work: Called them because we had a frostproof hose bibb that was defective. Also had two pop-up assemblies in our bathroom that didn't close properly. Techician was punctual and very professional. After inspecting the problems, he gave us a findings sheet with his recommended fixes and the prices. After we OK'd the fixes, he completed the work that day and we haven't had any further problems.

Description of Work: Found tree roots in sewer line with camera scope. Dug up pipe and determined the city cleanout was corroded and tree roots were on the city side of the pipe. They helped me contact the city and get them there that night. City ended up digging up the entire culdesac and replacing their sewer line.

Description of Work: Cleared kitchen drain. The company/service techs are very professional and courteous. There fees seem a bit high. It only took the rep about 20 minutes to unclog the drain. In a case like this, I would prefer if they charged by the hour instead of the job.

Description of Work: Snaked out upstairs sewer line from my 2 story roof. My lines are cast iron and more given to clogging than PVC. Cleaning the lines resolved the problem with the drains backing up.

Description of Work: Repaired water leak under cement foundation. Jack hammered foundation slab ( 18 inch by 30 inch slot), replaced replaced defective coupling. Very efficient and professional.

Description of Work: I called Atomic Plumbing before noon with a small emergency. (Could wait for a routine response).My "small" issue quickly escalated to a real emergency that had both bathroom toilets and a shower involved. I called Atomic again at three in the afternoon. The repairman showed up within a couple of hours, and worked tirelessly till everything was taken care of. Everyone involved, the ladies in the office, and the technician were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: The person sent to my house was on time and polite. He checked out the problem and said that the toilet needed to be replaced. He went to get a replacement and put the toilet in. He then repaired a line that was leaking on my new heater, air conditioner unit. The person that had installed the copper line had put in a pin valve that was leaking. He replaced that with a proper fitting device. This added 200 dollars to my bill.. That evening when I went to use the bagthroom the toilet hit against the wall when I got up. The next time I used the toilet the same thing happend. So I placed a call to let them know that something needed to be adjusted to prevent that from happening. I waited all day. Late in the day I got a call that two men who were finishing up their work for the day would stop by. They came by and put a shim in place and tightened up the bolts that fixed the toilet to the floor. There was no charge for this. I think that Atomic Plumbing is good company but they are very expensive. I was surprised at the price of the installation. The men were nice and did a good job. I have no real complaint except that most people could not afford to have them come in and do work at these prices. They did the work, they fixed the rocking toilet later the next day. I paid the price. But I will be likely to shop around for a better price if it can be found in the future. I had called three other plumbers on the list that had no one to answer their phones. As I went down the list I finally came to Atomic. And I chose to do business with them. They did tell me that if they came out and gave me an estimate and I did not use them that there would be a seventy nine dollar charge just for that. I felt that was a bit high also. I am being asked for my openion here and I am giving it with my honest thoughts and feelings regarding the experience. Thank You for Asking me. PJStrickland

Description of Work: I emailed them for an estimate. I had used this company years ago when I lived in Virginia Beach, and the work was excellent and they were very reasonable on the price. They did call me, but said they would not quote the job. They could send a rep, it would be $69, and that would be applied towards the job (and they would start at that time) if I chose them. If I did NOT chose them, I would be out the $69. First, I have a general opposition to companies that don't want customers to 'comparison shop'. I understand they don't want to waste time, but - given the prices they charge in comparison to other vendors - I think not providing any type of estimate without a charge seems inappropriate, and tends to make people not want to keep looking since they have already 'invested' in Atomic. In reviewing the Angie's List reviews, I found their pricing - even on the smaller jobs - to be WAY over other vendors. While some of the jobs were extensive, the overall average price was way up there and I was concerned I would be throwing away $69 to have them come in blind and give me a very high price. In their defense, there were no "same" jobs as I was looking for. There was one job the customer said took less than ah hour and was over $400 - the company rep for Atomic did give her a refund (which she did not ask for) but the end price still led me to feel my job would be quoted at over $400 so.. I did not think it a good investment to pay the estimate fee. Having used this vendor before, if I had unlimited funds I might have had them come out just due to the prior quality work they did for me, but as a newly retired person I don't have unlimited funds and the reviews I read (all of them available) really showed what I felt to be an overall higher price than other vendors.

Description of Work: I had a city sewage backing into my house from the street. Atomic plumbing came and identified the problem, the city came and cleared the line, but the backup sewage had damaged my plumbing. Atomic plumbing came on two ocassions, repaired the pipes, and cleared the lines. Both technicians were very professional. I thought that the overall prices were high for the repairs, for the amount of time spent onsite, but I do not have anything to compare these prices with, so I was satisfied with the quality of work, and their promptness. Their telephone office staff , and technicians are very nice and professional.

Description of Work: I'm a Realtor and a very picky one. I set up an appointment on Monday to meet a plumber on Friday. The company called me Friday morning and said the plumber would be arriving shortly. I was very impressed, Eric Toupin with Atomic Plumbing showed up on time, was very professional, quickly evaluated the problem, gave an estimate and waited while I received approval from my client. Eric then fixed my clients plumbing in a timely manner, did not go over his estimated price and cleaned up after himself. I also appreciated the company providing me with a receipt so my client who lives in California could pay by credit card. It was a pleasure dealing with Eric and Atomic Plumbing.
