I've had two great experiences with Atomic Plumbing and would highly recommend them to anyone! This job was to address an extremely slow draining kitchen sink that I had neglected for years plus a disposal that stopped working years ago. Justin R. did a fantastic job! He put down plastic to protect my property while he worked, cleaned out all the stinky sludge, replaced the disposal, and returned the kitchen sink to the properly working condition it needs to be in. He checked it to make sure all the seals were right and there was no leaking. Because he was so careful, there was hardly any clean up afterwards. The outside faucet was replaced and that required cutting open a small area of the wall to access the pipes. All this was carefully and cleanly done. My new faucet is beautiful and is properly installed and caulked (unlike the previous one). Throughout Justin was professional, friendly, easy-going, and answered my numerous questions about preventing freezing pipes and showed me how to turn my water off at the street in the case of an emergency or trip during the winter. I am so appreciative because if there is a water emergency, I need to know that. The first time I called Atomic was last year to replace a different outside faucet that was broken. I believe it was Erik that came out and he was friendly, professional, and did a great job too. So, if you have plumbing issues, don't wait, go ahead and call Atomic because they do great work and their technicians are friendly, know what they are doing, and want to get the job done for you. Also, office staff great and I got the "he is on the way" call as promised.

Technician Assessed The Job Gave A Fair Price And Applied The Coupon From Angie's List! The Washer Drain Was Unclogged By Getting On The Roof (Who Knew) And Is Working Great! We Had Bought A Replacement Faucet And Handles; Just In Case Replacing Was The More Sensible Option Vs Repairing And As It Turns Out The Kit That Would Have Been Needed To Repair Our Dated Faucet And Handles Would Have Taken More Time And Money! Now Installing The New One Still Was No Small Task, But Our Technician Worked Diligently And I'm Happy To Report No More Drip! Atomic Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Is Definitely Our New Go To For Future Plumbing Needs!

Atomic plumbing tech Scott arrived. He explained all the details for the new water heater installation. While awaiting heater unit from warehouse; Scott prepped the cold and hot copper plumbing. Its a pleasure to observe a professional go about his work; in particular, soldering the copper connections and installing pipe insulation wrap. This was no rush job. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Sean was punctual and a professional. Total price seemed a bit high for what it was, but needed it fixed asap.

winter storm Grayson 2018 hit southeast Virginia pretty hard. suffered a frozen pressurized pipe burst. left messages with 2 top-rated companies after comparing Angie's List reviews. Atomic called within a half hour. the other company called 6 hours after to tell me i'm still on the wait list (ha!). Tiffany (Atomic) was very understanding and empathic; she updated me quickly via text and email. Justin arrived 2 hours after my distress call. he went over the repair procedure and their fee structure where they charge a flat fee based on the type of job. the repair itself was pretty quick, but he waited a good amount of time for it to cure. he stayed by the repair as i slowly opened the water main. flawless repair! as he closed the ticket, he encouraged add'l steps to prevent a future mishap. did i mention he brought his own shoe covers?! this was an EMERGENCY, and they handled it with friendliness, honesty, efficiency and dependability (it's nasty out there). very highly recommended!

After using Atomic Plumbing now three separate times, they have more than earned their place as our go-to plumber here in VA Beach. The thing I like best about them is their responsiveness. We've done two emergency calls with them, and both times we've had same day service, usually within just a few hours. This is especially important when you're dealing with large leaks, like in the case of our upstairs bathroom or, just recently, our old hot water heater. The work they do is top notch, and the only thing in my opinion that surpasses it is the customer service. During our last interaction, we called Atomic after dealing with a frustrating experience with our home warranty company, who obviously wanted to use their own contractor to replace our hot water heater. The problem was their contractor couldn't see us until 5-6 days later, and that would have been just for the initial visit to determine the problem and what the fix would be. After fighting for them to get our own plumber out and to get reimbursed later and finally getting it approved, Atomic was our first and only choice. Not only did they ascertain the problem and solution immediately (and waived the $125 flat call fee), but Deanna, the rep who we'd been in contact with about our case, worked tirelessly to help us navigate the home warranty company's many, many communication issues and overall inflexibility. She was incredible, and we can't thank her enough for essentially fighting for us when she really didn't have to. Overall, Atomic Plumbing has earned our continued business with their wonderful customer service and great plumbing skills. We are more than happy to refer them to everyone we know and we'll definitely only use them in the future!

It was really good. I was very pleased with the work they did. Now, I was just waiting for the city to fixed the problem.

My hot water heater started to leak the evening before Thanksgiving. I called Atomic at about 4:30 pm and a serviceman arrived and assessed the problem within an hour.

I was traveling on business and our water heater stopped working. Don R. responded the next day and was extremely polite and professional with my wife. He explained everything to her, found out the heater was still under warranty and did all the work to get a replacement part from the manufacturer for me to do the repair. He could have easily taken her for a lot of repair costs - but did not - and I really appreciate that! I would certainly use them again. Thank you!

After going through SEARS, Home Depot and Lowe's - Those stops were a Dead-End because allegedly, they no longer make the 40 Gal Short, Gas Ventilated water heaters...or at least not as many. Atomic Plumbing took ownership of my requirement and leveraged their manufacturing water heater vendor sources to provide me with the exact or similar product that was already in place. They provided me with options and insight I needed to make a timely and informed decision. Everyone from the tech on sight to the receptionist were proactive in scheduling, ordering the water heater, coordinated with me and property management office for access to the house. Lastly , they provided me with Peace of Mind and a sense of relief that they helped me mitigate and avoid an impending last minute crisis.

Atomic Plumbing quickly identified my plumbing issue; Roto Rooter had been out 3 times previously and was unable to resolve my issue. Very pleased with the work completed. Highly recommend.

Estimate for, I had to have all new sewer lines laid, and an extension and all the plumbing for sinks and bathrooms and they were going to handle all that. They were professional, really good. They made suggestions to me different than what I had originally thought. Better cheaper than the other way. In fact, I will use them once my current project is finished. I called them back and told them the situation I was in and they said they would honor their estimate and do it at that. I am going to have to have them come back and give me a different estimate. I do plan on using them to do all my plumbing work.

This is an amended review of one I posted on 12 August.. Atomic contacted me and listened to my grievance (which was over 2 years old) about the price. The manager went over the bill and found room for a discount and issued me a refund check. He was sincerely concerned that I was not happy about the price. The discount was fair and very much appreciated and unexpected. Atomic did not have to give me a discount. They have earned my business back.

Justin did a great job. His quality and work ethic was of high quality. I thought the price was a bit high for this type of work, but again the quality of the job was great.

The kitchen sink was clogged and they snaked it out. That's who we usually call. They come within a few hours of calling so they're very responsive. Everything seems to work fine after they do their thing.
