Arnie's Custom Tile

Arnie was on time for the work to be performed. He did a good job in leveling the ceiling and walls before adding the shower boards. He marked wall board in shower for location of plumbing pipes and then in installing board screwed into a water pipe. Fortunately, plumber was there to shut off water and repair copper pipe. Not enough attention to detail. The rest of the install went okay and the project was completed. However, one year later, a number of the flooring tiles came loose and the grouting was cracking in between the tiles. Arnie came out to inspect the problem. He removed two 13 x 13 tiles and said he had never seen this before. A manager from a tile store came out to inspect the problem and determined the tile had not been properly set in the adhesive. He showed me a U-tube video of what the floor and tile should look like if the tile were set correctly. This was not the case here. I have been discussing this situation with Arnie since Dec 2, 2013 and after many promises of his coming out to fix the problem, he has not done so. He is only interested in doing jobs where he is paid and not correcting problems from his past work. I will be getting another installer to correct this problem and reinstall the tiles that are loose. A photo of the floor with two tiles removed is provided separately to Angies List.
