Description of Work: It went as well as can be expected. WE met at home depot after , Bill came by the house and provided an estimate, based on measurements of privacy fence to be replaced. I paid for materials, and Bill picked them up and came over to replaced fence. When we were satisfied with the installation and clean up , We paid Bill the balance of the estimate minus material cost. Completed job in three days.

Description of Work: Great team of workers, Billy is very motivated and takes pride in and is dedicated to his work. He has been doing it a very long time and is very fast. He installed 180 feet of cedar picked fence in my back yard in less than a week, minus all the rain days. Their follow up was impressive, calling me every step of the way since I was out of town during the installation. They pulled up and hauled off the old deteriating fence and even left cedar remnants for me to use in my firepit. I will be using their services again.

+ -1 moreSuperior performance. The new location required posts to be placed on a currently existing brick patio. They carefully removed the sections of brick needed for the posts with no damage to surrounding brick. They were able to use the existing fence material and provided additional material as necessary (about 3 ft more fencing was needed in the new location). They did a fantastic job ensuring the gate was perfectly level and the fence line was straight.
Description of Work: We had a large section of fence, including double swing gate, (approx 50ft) moved.

+ -1 moreI am very pleased with the services Armor Fence provided for me and have used them in several other projects in Hmapton Roads. I have reffered them to several people over the past 5 years.
Description of Work: I have had a Spaced Picket fence in my front yard and a Privacy fence in my back yard Built by Armor Fence for 5 years now. Billy came out and gave me a quote, I went with his company because I liked his honest personality. He seemed very energetic when they came out, and they set all the poles. I was concerned about leaving my yard exposed over night because I have animals and Billy was kind enough to go back to the Hardware store where he purchased some Orange mesh and put up a "temporary" fence to try to keep my animals safe. The following day they came out and framed in the whole yard, and Put up the Privacy fence in the back yard. It was very late when they were done working but they stayed to get the back yard done. The following day they finished the front yard and it looked great. I still get compliments from people telling me how nice my yard looks with the spaced pict up front. ( It's the only one on the block like it) I would highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreI called on Monday morning and left a message. Billy called me back almost immediately and was very pleasent. We set up an appointment for the following evening. I needed to take off of work a little early to get there while it was still daylight. The next day, I waited for Billy to show. After he was 30 minutes late, I called and left a message for him to call back and verify that we were meeting that evening. He never showed up and never called. It is now Friday morning, 4 days later, and I have yet to receive a call or explanation for him not showing up.
Description of Work: I found Armor on Angie's List and based on the great reviews decided to call them first for an estimated on building a fence.

An additional minute here or check there made for an excellent result. Very professional, honest, energetic and personable. I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreHe was slow to get started because he had just finished a big job the day before. However, once he started he was able to get it up in three days. The quality is excellent and I think he might have undercharged me for the amount of work it took to remove the old fence.
Description of Work: Armor fence installed 88 ft of wood fence and a gate. He charged $15 / foot and gave me a 10% discount for being military.

+ 0 moreThis was Billy's second visit. Like the first time, he was professional, prompt, and courteous. He listened to what I wanted and built me the perfect fence. He works quickly, but with an eye to detail. He does a lot more than fence building! This time, he trimmed a tree for me and it's now safe and well balanced, but it doesn't look naked. I'll never call anyone else before I call Billy.

Description of Work: Armor Fence and Deck installed a new privacy fence for a total price of 1300. The service and craftsmanship was great. It's rare that you get an honest contractor and believe me I've dealt with many and this company was honest, priced fair and did good work. They put in a 6 foot fence on the right and left side of my yard as well as a 6 foot privacy entrance gate.

The only little thing I had to complain about was the price, I felt it was a little steep, but you have to pay for what you get so it was worth it. I would recommend this company to others.
