Ask for a free estimate on electrical problem and outlet for microwave over stove. Made that very clear with a person name Lou. Service came out told us we needed another box and microwave outlet would be $675.00. Charged me a $85.00 for a service call, but no service done. Tried to put the $85.00 towards the new box. Lou stated it was no problem,will call back the next day, she never call us back, we had to call them back, just been given the run around. I am in the customer service business and avoiding a potential customer is bad business. We feel very disrespected and taken.

I called them on a Sunday morning for a sewage backup. They were here within a couple of hours of the call, called to let me know they were on the way and got the problem taken care of in about an hour. They were professional, well priced and treated me with respect and compassion for the situation we were in with the backup. I have used them for heat/air, plumbing, and electrical and have yet to have a bad experience. I have used them since 1999 and will use them again.

Our A/C unit has had a leak since last summer and our furnace stopped working right before Thanksgiving. We knew when we bought our home that the A/C unit and furnace would need to be replaced since they were original to the home and over 20 years old. We had 4 different companies give us estimates and American Mechanical was the best choice for us because of the added value of the included 10 year warranty on the system. Most of the other companies wanted us to join some club and/or pay extra each month for a 3 year warranty. This company was very professional and great to work with. They sent two of their employees to install the system. It took them from about 8am until 4pm to completely remove the old system and install the new one. They cleaned up all of their mess and were very respectful of our home while working. We did have a problem with the condensation tube not being insulated properly and our system stopped working just a few days after being installed but they came and fixed the problem immediately (at no charge, of course). We are very happy with the service and quality of work that was provided to us by American Mechanical.

In the end it went well. The first technician came out on a Wed and I couldnt tell that the work had been done (I still wasn't getting any airflow/heat to my laundry room vent). I called the office the next day and they sent someone out on the following Friday and everything was resolved. I wasn't exactly sure why I wasn't getting heat to that vent on Wed but the company was responsive about getting it fixed and they did not charge me until they checked back in with me and confirmed that I was satisfied. I thought the professionalism was great. I would definitely use them again.

Went very well. Work was great and was performed quickly and, most importantly, correctly. Only disappointment was that we couldn't use an 'electrical' coupon for the generator check.

They were knowledgeable and punctual.

The delay between generator delivery and installation was about one month. Once all of the work was done, John showed me how to test the system, how to set the automatic run day and time, and how to read the trouble panel. The company had to send a rep. the day after the install because they forgot to relight the pilot light on the hot water heater. However, this was considered part of the job and there was no additional cost.

From the start, American Mechanical did a great job. The office picked up the call immediately, and they had the plumber available the next day. Not one minute of phone tag occurred on this job. Chuck called on his way over, and then checked for the replacement parts that were needed once he arrived. The whole job took about two hours from start to finish including getting the parts. All of my questions were answered, and Chuck made it clear that I could call back if there were any problems. Considering the price of parts and labor, combined with my lack of expertise for this type of work, I would say the cost was reasonable. I did not ask for an estimate ahead of time.

Jeremy Holt arrived on time (and called 30 min. before to say he was en route). Jeremy's communication was very clear. He was also pleasant and cheerful. He was quite efficient, wasting no time. He gave me an estimate on removing an antiquated kitchen light. I will definitely call him in the future for any electrical work I need done.

Pleasurable repair experience. Office admin was courteous. On site estimator was timely and knowledgeable of job scope. Called day of estimate, to verify owner availability. Verified cost and service down time with service manager over cell phone, prior to departing estimate. Flexible scheduling. Repair performed around my work schedule. Reminded me of impending repairs. Called to indicate they were on their way. I was a pest, but they explained every step they did with a smile and kept service down time to a minimum. Cleaned their work area efficiently. Totally professional job. Estimate was the cost of repair!

American Mechanical did their best to find the source of the water leak in the fastest fashion possible. They cut holes in the walls in only the areas needed and explained what they were doing the whole time. In the end they identified the problem for us and that was what we needed. It took them little time to do so and we were thankful of that aspect also. They were a very good company with rates that were fair.
