American Builders Super Window

This contractor did an amazing job at installing 16 new double hung windows. I was totally impressed with their skill level and efficiency. Only negative thing I have to say involves interior cleanup. Once work was accomplished in the house, they did not adequately clean up the debris as a result of window remove and install. That is something that needs to be stressed!

Very well. Personnel were relatively punctual and worked as a team to remove old windows and install new ones. Personnel were very respectful of furniture and window dressings. They did an acceptable job of cleaning up and putting everything back to normal.

The entire process was great. From the initial estimate to enjoying my new windows, everyone from American Builders Super Window was knowledgeable and courteous. They were on time for each meeting and for the install, and did an outstanding job. Everything was installed, sealed and caulked to meet my standards, which is no easy feat. They cleaned up and hauled away the old windows and trash. I would definitely use American Builders if I’m ever in the market for windows in the future.

We wanted to replace some windows as part of our upgrades to our new, old house prior to moving in. The salesperson was great, He gave me a fair estimate with no pressure. The installation went perfectly and the windows are easy to clean and look amazing. Two of the windows in my dining room were next to each other and were replaced with one picture window which is amazing. The installers were very professional and made no mess at all. I had to replace the upstairs previously and wish I had known about Super windows because the Super windows are easier to open and clean. Highly recommend!

We were extremely pleased with our purchase and the installation by American Builders Super Window. We were very leery beforehand, because we have never gone through this before. The salesman was professional in every way, as were all the installation team members.

The installation went well and crew performed a professional installation. Communication after the job was completed was hard at times and getting a replacement sash after a crack was found took over a month.

They were excellent, promote and highly professional. They arrive on time and finish the job on time. They installed all windows, and left my house in immaculate condition

Everything went very well, without a glitch. Kevin Rhodes was dispatched by Roger Cawthon to perform measuring of the windows. The production of the windows went very well and they were installed by very component installers. Kevin had to engineer an onsite design for the two frontal windows, which corrected a very important water flow and drainage problem. The newly installed windows are simply gorgeous. American Builders Super Window Company warranted our windows for life. They also installed customized pvc trim around each installed window, which made them maintenance free for life. I can't find words that would adequately Express my gratitude to American Builders Windows for exemplary service.

From start to finish, Roger's team at American Builders and Super Windows were professional and courteous. There was no pressure from the sales department and communication regarding the installation date and time couldn't have been more on spot. There were less expensive windows that could have been purchased from other companies but we believe we purchased the quality we insisted upon at a price we believe to be honest and fair, (what more can you ask for?). The installation team explained every detail of what to expect prior to beginning their work. They were extremely efficient and, as mentioned, very professional and courteous. There was no trace of them being here at job conclusion other than beautiful new replacement windows. Excellent service. Quick service. The man came to our house with in a couple of days, earlier then scheduled time frame.. Very pleasant,.down to earth knowledgable man. If I had a questioned it was answered. 3 weeks later the windows were in and installed. Very quick service. The crew who installed were clean, professional respectful pleasant. They removed all the old windows and debris. Not a spec left behind. All in all, a great experience, a pressure taken off my shoulders. Now when we get the last 5 windows done we will be phoning you guys. That's a promise. ;)

My wife and I had several quotes from the folks you see on TV as well as local big box stores to replace 17 windows in Windsor Oaks Virginia Beach. I called these gents on a whim and they immediately responded to measure and quote the project. The salesman was quick, prompt and informative. The owner of the company personally sent me an email explaining the difference between their windows and the competition. I found the info he sent very honest and even self critical in some aspects, which is rare. I chose his team largely based off of what he sent although their price was on the low end of the others (he explained why). A crew of 5 arrived on time and completed the job in about 9 hours while I was home. The workers were quiet, professional and the job was absolutely perfect. I’m 6 months into having the new windows and they have tremendous sound proofing and temperature insulation. This company offers quality windows for only $397 installed. The installers and office staff were all very friendly and professional. I'll never consider another company for windows.

Company was truly outstanding. They showed up a half hour prior to when they said they would to set up their equipment and were ready to go on time. All personnel were extremely professional and courteous throughout the project. The initial crew of two came in and removed and replaced 21 windows on the house (first and second floor). A second crew of two came in to assist in finishing and caulking the installation. As a result, the project was completed by mid-afternoon, a lot quicker than anticipated. Installation was superb. Crew took care to ensure all windows fit snugly and then finished the installation, caulking and adding the trim. They then cleaned up all the debris and hauled it off. This is an outstanding small business who promises a good product, professionally installed and delivers on their promise. I would recommend them to anyone.

Overall it was good. My primary complaint is price. They charge the same price for each window unit based on its type, i.e., casement. One price. Regardless of size or if it is a fixed or operating window. And it isn't cheap. This was for 4 windows, 1 fixed. I would try and negotiate price if I used them again.

The total experience from start to finish was perfect. Roger Cawthorne and his team are wonderful. I feel I got a quality product installed by professionals. Job completed in one day. They were kind enough to haul away some large debris I had in addition to the old windows. I have referred several people to this company and will continue to do so.

Rogers team is just awesome, 20 windows out and replaced in one day. Very professional, no pressure to buy. They even wrapped 3 existing windows for us so that everything would match. Got 4 estimates and theirs, although not the cheapest, was definately the best. I highly recommend this company.

Crew came and installed my new windows yesterday. They arrived on time, worked quickly, were professional and unobtrusive. When they finished everything was cleaned and the way they found it.
