ALLEY'S TREE REMOVAL

They started the job 2 years ago, doesn't return calls. Calls go to message, which are never returned. They did half the job. I haven't paid them a dime yet, glad of that because now I have to hire a lawyer to have the contract broken and give them less than half after removing lawyer fees.

Didn't complete job. Left before we could do a walk through to make sure it all looked good. Several areas weren't grinded down far enough. Completely missed one of the stumps he was supposed to remove. Been told multiple times he'd come finish them just to no call no show. Now just Completely been blown off. Had several friends I had to pull my recommendation from. Really tried to work with this guy and.give.him all the time he needed but.no communication and poor work. Communication seems to be the reoccurring issue. Had he just forgot or been unable to come and reschedule would've been fine. I get it, I'm reasonable. But multiple times not showing up or texting back is unacceptable

Check the BBB’s F rating of Chris and Alley’s Tree Service along with how many complaints have been filed against him before you plan to use him ([*** Link removed ***] Chris came out and was very thorough with his quote ($1600 for pruning two tall oak trees in backyard without bucket access), resulting me in choosing Alley's even though they were higher priced than 2 other quotes I received. I called and talked to him about scheduling our job which he said he had to look at his calendar and get back to me on. After a couple of days, I followed up via email and then received an email confirming our scheduling. My wife took off work to be home for that day but Chris never showed up. We called both the cell and office lines multiple times, texted, and emailed that day and the following days with no response. Completely unprofessional and I'm severely regretting not going with one of the lower quotes that would've actually completed the work. Not sure how he runs a successful business wasting time giving free quotes for jobs he's not going to do. Look elsewhere.

Company was great returning my call and scheduling an estimate the very next morning at 9:00 am. The Sales Rep was very professional and friendly when reviewing the job and was promised that we would have an estimate by the end of the day. Not only did we not receive the estimate, Alley's never returned my email follow up request, nor did they return my follow up call. Basically, they wasted an hour of my time on a Saturday morning. Will not call this company again.

No shows, they came out gave a quote, scheduled for work to begin and waited 3 weeks with no contact when finally contacted they haven't showed, kept schedule or returned phone calls, waste of time and extremely difficult to get a hold of.

An estimate was given. A date was scheduled. They came and did an excellent job!

I made an appointment and he failed to show up or call. I called to make another appointment and again no show, no call.

Couldn't say, they never showed up to perform the work. An agreed upon date and time was scheduled yet the company never showed up. Tried calling several times to see if they were just running late, but they never answered my phone calls. After a few tries they sent the calls straight to voicemail.

This was the second time I used this service. The first, last year, they cut up and removed a tree which had fallen. In that instance, the workers did not want to remove the portion of the trunk in the flower bed and extending to the base, behind a hedge, although I thought that was included in the contract. They finally removed the trunk far enough back into the hedge so that the remainder is hidden from view. The last time, Chris had once again given me an estimate to complete work and, when the workers arrived, they argued with me about what was to be done, including obscure definitions of what a main branch means, and the "foreman" wouldn't look at the written estimate. When the work was complete, instead of the eight large branches I thought were to be removed, only two plus two dead and already broken off "branches" were removed; the largest, heaviest branch remained. The tree's lean increased following a week-and-a-half of rain and we decided to have it removed completely due to safety concerns. I left messages at the office and on Chris' voicemail, hoping he would come out and provide an estimate and, after discussing what had happened previously, charge a tad less than others might. Chris, nor anyone else, has ever called back and we had another tree service remove the tree last week.

They were all professional, nice to work with and friendly. Had a little accident on their last day on the job. They knocked down our custom cedar fence with a huge runaway section of the 60 year old tree. We had our carpenter/builder come rebuild the sections of the fence We paid him for his work, then when I paid Chris for his company's work, I itemized the bill, showing the deduction for Mr. Peterson's (Mi Familia Construction) rate and materials. I would definitely recommend Alleys to others! Everyone makes mistakes, and it's not easy directing a 5' by 3' section of oak tree to the ground from 30 feet up in the air.

They did an excellent job. A few days later, we had a huge wind storm and I was so happy we had agreed to the crown cleaning. I talked to 4 other companies and Alley's quoted the lowest price. I have recommended to several people.

They are good and they a good job. They do some landscaping and cut the grass. I was also very pleased with their landscaping too. They upgraded what I had already had and made it look nice. I have been using them for about 9 months. They come out every week for me.

They were very professional. We first contacted them about 2 months prior to get a free estimate. Once we knew the details from our contractor on when they were able to start for our room addition we called them the week before and they honored the estimate and had no issues with getting us scheduled in for when we needed.They showed up on time and worked all day to get the job done. It took 12 hours from start to finish, due to some technical issues they had with some equipment but they got it fixed and finished the job. We also had a slight issue with not being able to have a car moved on a neighboring property due to the short time frame I had to get the job done before my contractor started but they worked around it and made it happen. They also made sure that all the roots where the addition was going were not an issue and were gone. Would hire them again.

It went great price is right for everything we are asking. The removal of the tree,stump,chips, fill the hole with top soil, and trim and clean another tree in the front of the house. After work is done I will post another review. Without asking he showed me license and insurance papers. If things go as well as it did today I will recommend him to anyone that will listen.

Meant to post this awhile back and noticed I did not give feedback. Met with Chris for quote (also received quotes from other's on Angie's List) and felt the price was reasonable for the amount of work to complete. Although the yard was regularly mowed, due to illness, the yard needed a lot of work and shrubbery either cut back or removed. Also talked to him about removing a couple of trees. Needless to say, they were very punctual and stayed all day to get the yard back in shape. They cut down the trees and carted everything away. It still looks good and I would highly recommend them!

Crew showed on time, very courteous, worked quickly, asked questions to ensure proper placement of tree. Gave thorough explanation of how to take care of trees in yard.

Quick response to asking for an estimate and gave me a reasonable price compared to others. Work was completed in less than five hours. I'd use them again.......

Alley's Tree Removal showed up on time and explained to me what they were going to do. They got right to work. The men cleaned up everything when they were done and didn t leave any mess. This was a very big tree and they had very good service.
