All N One Company Chimney & Roofing Specialist

I called All-N-One after receiving an incredibly high quote from another company. They were kind, professional, and responsive. They repaired all of the issues with my chimney (loose mortar in the flue and the cap) and provided a certification of safety for half the price of the other quote. I enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them.

The job has been a struggle from the start. We were quoted $7500 to make the fireplace fully functional, elevate the hearth and make it into a grill. Dale opened the fireplace that had been sealed for years. He wanted $4000 down payment to start work - when we paid it, it was difficult to get him to come out to the house to continue the work. He raised the hearth and built out the casing, then put stone veneer around it. He put a chimney cap and waterproofing masonry. Around the time he was working on the chimney, he took pictures of my roof and showed me work that had to be done. He made the job sound complex and gave me an estimate of $3365 to do the work. I fell for it without getting additional estimates and we paid him for a job that took approximately 3 hours. He used slate that had come from another job and put tar in the valleys - again, I should have asked for other estimates - that was an outrageous price to pay for 3 hours work. For the chimney work, there were code violations. I am in the position where I have to essentially start over with the chimney work in order to bring things up to code and make the chimney functional - AFTER I WAS TOLD THE JOB WAS COMPLETE AND HE WANTED HIS PAY and he took his pay. This has been a bad experience all around from getting Dale to show up on time to the quality of the work. UPDATE 1: This company was originally called Precision Chimney when the job started. After the first month, they changed the billhead to All N One Company.
