He splattered my windows with paint. The paint was fine but I don't like the thing that they damaged my windows. The price was more expensive.
Description of Work: I used Action Painting for my interior painting and I would not use them again.

We were referred to Action Painting by our realtor, and because we do not currently live in the Williamsburg area, everything was done long distance. Zaher could not have been more helpful and accomodating. He was patient with us as we decided over colors, called us with any questions or concerns. When everything had received one coat he asked to have someone come take a look -- my cousin was kind enough to come over from Richmond and was impressed with the quality of the work. The job was done two days ago, and my husband and son went down to inspect the job. It was fabulous. Zaher had to work around our electrician, our plumber, our floor refinisher -- and they were all blown away with what a great job he had done. And then to make this even better, a neighbor a few doors down had an emergency that he went down to help with. Would I use this firm again -- you bet I would. Quality is first rate!
Description of Work: Zaher painted the entire inside of our new home -- all 4000 square feet, with cathedral ceilings, and LOTS of windows and trims. He primed all of the windows so that we could change from an oil based paint to an acrylic, and each wall and ceiling received two coats of paint.

I was referred to "Action Painting" Brian Adams through friends/neighbors to help clean up the rest of a job that had not been properly finished. I asked him to finish off three rooms and one full bathroom and kitchen in a townhouse. Mr. Adams (Brian) came in criticized the work of the other painters and assured me he and his crew (of one) would take care of the job. I insisted on getting everything in writing, but he deferred that to the end of the job. I agreed based on the recommendations from my neighbors. Big mistake!!! While, the work that Mr. Adams and his crew of one man was decent on the surface; they did NOT finish what was agreed to in our initial contract. He left me with a bathroom full of splotches and half painted work; and said, it would "take him too long to come back and wait for it all to be done over." He did not prime my exterior door, as he should have. After he stormed out on the last day of the job; (and insisted on being paid cash on a daily basis-which I did not agree to), I looked over the work and saw several areas which he had promised to finish and did not. I rang him to follow up (as he had been paid in full) but he didn't return one phone call. I asked, very politely, if he would re-finish my front door and finish the downstairs bathroom that he had left undone. I received not one return phone call. I just can't recommend his shoddy business tactics or lack of quality to anyone else. I'm extremely disappointed in the professionalism of his "company."
Description of Work: I was referred to "Action Painting" Brian Adams through friends/neighbors to help clean up the rest of a job that had not been properly finished. I asked him to finish off three rooms and one full bathroom and kitchen in a townhouse. His job as hired to do by me, was to finish the rest of the work, that had not been completed. In the end: he only finished two rooms, one kitchen and left me with a bedroom and master bath that I had to spend days painting myself.
