+ 0 moreAce Home Improvements from Virginia Beach is awesome. I called on Friday and Steve (the owner/veteran) set out a top notch person on Saturday. I had bought the columns so I needed to have the old columns removed and replaced with the new ones. The repair person was Mr. Robert (Robbie) Haywood (also a veteran) who did a fantastic job in two hours. He also hauled away the old columns. Great contractors are hard to find! I highly recommend this company and yes I am a veteran also.

The concrete work, siding repair/replacement, composite deck/stairs and vinyl hand rails all look fabulous and we now have a maintenance free deck to enjoy. Henceforth, Rob (from Ace Home Improvements )is my man to turn to for projects around the house. He is a innovative, problem solving Craftsman who has my stamp of approval.

+ -1 moreI needed to have a small 20 ft. section of soffit replaced prior to selling my house in April. I contacted ACE and was initially provided a quote $850. After examining the entire house, he recommended that I replace the soffits around the entire house for $3,000. I indicated that I just wanted to have what I requested replaced. He then said that small job was going to be difficult and increased the price to $950. All of this took place in a span of 5 minutes. When the up-sale did not work, the price of the first job increased. At this point, I decided to not to hire. I contacted another company and the work was completed a fews later for a less than half the cost. The job took less than 2 hours to complete.

They were quick to follow up on phone calls I placed to them and followed through with sending someone out to survey the job we wanted done. They were very easy to work with as far as building a deck that met our needs while working well in the location we picked; they even matched the style of the deck to the one we have attached to the house. They started the job on the agreed on date and arrived on time. They completed the job in a very timely manner and cleaned up after themselves very well. We would definitely use Ace Home Improvements again for any future projects.
