I had some projects and repairs around the house I needed taken care of - replaced rotting deck boards, a new storm door, remodeling a half bath downstairs and installing new vanity and cabinet in bathroom upstairs. They came out and did an estimate on a Friday. Started work the next Monday. They showed up bright and early every day until everythng was completed to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again.

ACE Home Improvements sent out a carpenter, who wrapped the entire wooden frame around the patio door and windows, with white aluminum trim which looked like my original, white wooden frame before it started to decay at the bottom. He also carefully caulked all the places where rain water could seep in, especially at the base. I was very pleased with his work, and I thought the price for his work was reasonable. Finally, the carpenter left the outside of my home the way he found it, and I like that!

WOW! is all I could keep saying after Mark finished the work he did. Lets start with the doors. I have 2 of the exact same outswing French doors that face each other on opposite ends of my porch. One installed 8 years ago and One installed 4 months ago. Both were sticking and drafty due them not sealing properly and they were installed by two different contractors. Mark knew almost immediately after looking at them what was wrong and fixed them in short order. The doors open and close like they are supposed to and I can only imagine my electric bill will go down since I'm no longer heating and cooling the outside. Next the windows...Lets just say the window install was...unfinished. The trim 'using the word loosely' placed on the outside didn't seal the gap between the window and the brick and water was coming into my room every time it rained threatening to ruin my newly installed floor. You could see the Tyvex wrap around part of the windows in places. Mark, expertly wrapped the windows, evened out the trim so it looked like each window was custom and finished up with an amazingly precise caulk job against the brick and mortar joints that accentuated even more that he was an ultimate professional. To say that Mark (and Steve) are highly recommended is an understatement. I am extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and the standard of their work. I've already recommended them to my sister and will continue to do so to anyone who needs work done.

We recently purchased a house and had the home inspector miss major damage. Some being structural. We had to have called 8 different companies trying to find a contractor to come help us out, with no responses. We filled out Ace’s online questionnaire and within a few days David reached out to us. He was there the next day to get us and estimate. Then came over on a weekend to bring us the contract to sign to be able to start the very next day. He was absolutely wonderful. He came when he said he was, called and stayed in contact the whole way. Gave us his personal number. Even took pictures for us throughout the job to be able to hopefully use to go after the people who missed this and tried to cover it up. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work on our house. It was done quickly and looks beautiful. Our house is now structurally sound and we can feel safe having our kids in the home. The quality of the work and people, outstanding. Thank you David and Ace for everything!!!

Mark the foreman did a wonderful job. It took only a few hours to do all the repairs. The squirrel damaged soffit and eaves looks so much better now. Price was good compared to other company's that we received estimates for. We would definitely hire again. Thank you for the job well done.

Fantastic work. Not only did the crew from Ace do a great job, but they were nice guys on top of it. Our deck had many complicated angles and their work showed true craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Ace!

They were here for about 5 hours and did exactly what they said they would do. Pricing was reasonable.

Installed new gutters on two story home and fixed siding storm damage. Did the best they could repairing old siding, I need to replace entire house siding soon. Gutters were installed quickly, professionally and look great. Crew was friendly, courteous and did complete cleanup. Would hire again.

Definitely recommend these guys. Our repair man Mark was fantastic, extremely cordial and professional. He repaired some some trimming and replaced some shutters that were damaged from the last storm. He came in, did his thing and was out of there in no time. Time from first phone to repair was 3-4 days which I really appreciated because I'm sure they were real busy after the storm. Given all this I thought the pricing was extremely fair. Definitely keeping Ace in my speed-dial and I am looking to use them again real soon.

Very well. Trevor and Vincent Harrison came out to my home, looked at the Door jam, and recommended a complete replacement of the jam. The work was timely, and done well. They even followed up, and made some further modifications To the door itself to improve it ability to close. I would highly recommend both the Harrison’s and Ace Home Improvements.

Great. The only comment I would make is they showed up to start the job a couple of weeks before expected. This was nice, but unexpected. We would have had the stuff off the deck if we had known in advance.

They were professional and did a great job . Left no mess and took away all the damaged gutters and drain spouts . They also fixed one spout that was Loose. .will use them again

Great! The owner was honest and avoided the hard sell of the other companies we had contacted. Mark did an excellent job...worked long hours and was an expert craftsman dealing with some unusual issues of hurricane and plantation shutters. We are very pleased to have windows that open and close after so many years of being painted shut! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Mark came out on a Sunday to perform the much needed replacement of my porch column that had began to rot due to water damage. He was very professional and performed outstanding work. I was very impressed with the work and the column he chose which will last a very long time. I appreciate great customer service and would definitely hire him again!!

We hired Ace Home Improvements to redo our existing dock. We need boards replaced and we wanted to cover the underside of our gazebo with wood to cover the many exposed nails. Steve came out to our home quickly after we initially contacted him to look at the project and give us a quote. He is very reasonably priced and easy to work with. He answers text messages or quickly promptly. Our job was started by one of his employees, Josh, who did quality work and was very friendly. The job was completed by another employee, Rob, who did an excellent job finishing the underside of our gazebo and other repairs to the dock. Rob cleans up daily and leaves the work site neat and tidy. We are very happy with Steve and his crew and we recommend them for any of your home improvement jobs.

I found Ace Home Improvements via Angie's List and called Steve Lyon to get an estimate for a hard-to-reach soffit repair. He got back to me the next day and communicated very proactively. When he said he would call me back right away, he did. Steve looked up pictures of my house and walked through repair concepts with me over the phone. We agreed on an initial estimate and he sent Rob out to take a closer look at the damage. I liked Rob's assessment of the situation and his plan to perform the repairs I needed. We adjusted the price to accurately reflect the work which he was going to do and he said he would come back the following week to complete the repairs. Rob ended up spending one full day and two half days at my home. He barely took a break the whole time and did very good work. There were a few rain delays which were understandable and Rob always called me the day before to confirm when he would be coming out. Whenever I had a question or concern, he was very responsive and fixed any issues I had. Rob is customer driven and cares about performing work to the standard and specification desired. He genuinely wants the customer to be happy. When he finished the agreed upon work, I asked him to complete some additional tasks and he gladly accepted. We worked out a reasonable price and all the projects came out well. I am very pleased with the job he did and would not hesitate to use Ace Home Improvements again. They were able to begin work right away, communicated proactively the entire time and charged a reasonable price.

We had water intrusion around three decks at a condo apartment building. The association had gotten two other quotes where contractors claimed decks had to be removed and rebuilt at a high cost and disruption to tenants. I researched contractors on Angie's list and noted the excellent reviews for ACE and gave them a call. Steve quickly deduced that most likely water intrusion issue was siding, building wrap, and flashing related. His team made the repairs at a significantly lower cost and we haven't had an issue since. If you want a honest and practical repair solutions to your issues I strongly recommend ACE!
