ACCESS INNOVATIONS

The service was not good at all. After the service i had an electrician come out who stated that the work was not done correctly. (total cost was about 1500.00) There were several ports that did not work, I did not have anything plugged in at the time to test it them out to do the initial service. When I went to start using them, the jacks did not work. I had them come back in February, to fix the problem. They charged me a ridiculous amount for a HDMI cable, which I later found online for dramatically cheaper. (total cost was about $800.00)

It started 7 years ago when I had the house built. They were the alarm company that was chosen by the contractor and I agreed to use them. The initial contact was very nice and professional. The person I spoke with turned out to be the person who installed the alarm system. The work was shoddy. The individual window elements looked like they had been put in by a third grader. Which I should take back because that is an insult to third graders. The guy did not connect the power to the central vacuum and it took a week for them to come back out to connect it. The "upgraded" networking panel that housed my alarm wiring, Cat-5 networking cabling and television coaxial cabling looked like a bomb exploded. Every time we had someone look at it (changing of services), they shuddered and said that it was not done by a professional. Through all of this we kept Access and dealt with the issues. For the first year, we had a problem with window sensors going bad every month. Each year after that we would wake up in the middle of the night to an alarm going off only to find out that, yet again, we had another false alarm. I would venture to say that we had at least 10 false alarms all caused by corroded wiring caused by improper installation. Flash forward to this year. I called Glenn, the owner, in June to cancel my service because I was selling the house. He reminded me that I received a discount on my insurance because of the alarm system. I agreed to keep the service not realizing that he was setting me up. He renewed the contract and when I went to cancel the service, he told me that since I didn't cancel the contract 30 days in advance, it auto renewed and that even though the house sold on 10/31/13, I am responsible for the service until June 2014. Soooo, I asked the buyers if they would be willing to assume the contract to the end of my term (as Glen suggested I do) and they contacted Glen who told them that they could do that....in addition to a brand new 36 month contract. So 43 months. the buyer, rightfully so, are balking at the length of the contract. I have tried to contact Glen. There are several numbers for Access Innovation. Service, Sales, Billing. They all go to an answering service because I don't think that Access Innovations has an office. So I have called the answering service 4 times. No call back, no resolution. Do not use Access Innovations. Go with a larger, more reputable company. You will at lease be able to talk to someone other than an answering service.

I have been with this company since I moved in two years ago, and have received great service so far. Their response was almost immediate, after I called them. The technician came the very next day, and got right to work. He was not sure whether it was the faulty circuit or the battery, so to be safe, he replaced both. I have not had any problems with my home alarm since that day.

We are really comfortable with this alarm company. The system on our house was one of their own installations. Once we had a false alarm, and they called to check on us within a minute of the alarm. The monitoring they do for us makes me feel safer.

This has been a very good security company. They only charge approximately $84 for every three months. They walked me completely through the system when I ve changed the codes or anything. They had very respectful and polite customer service people. Their response time is within a minute. The police come when they don t receive an answer to their call. They are very quick.

We have the top of the line system, and we found out how well it works. My wife accidentally set off the alarm, and did not give the complete password when she called Access Innovations. The police were here in no time at all. Although it was embarrassing, at least we know the system works as it should, which makes us feel much safer.

The installers were very friendly, and they explained the complete system to me. I had an alarm go off once, and they called in a few seconds. That made me feel safe in my home. They did a good job of monitoring our system.

We haven't had any instances with the alarm where we couldn't figure it out or anything. They ask what they can do and answer all of our questions when we have them. We are confident they do a great job of monitoring the alarm and we feel good about using them to do that.

Access Innovations used good material and you can't even tell they installed the wiring. Their work was excellent and I have not had any problems with anything. They also installed our alarm system and never had a problem with that either. We have a continued service with them at $27 a month.
