Accel Pest & Termite Control

It took a few weeks to make initial contact, expecting them to call my cell phone, they tried to schedule through Angie's List email portal. So the delay was partially my fault, but their attempt took about a week. Once scheduled, they arrived on time and service was as expected. Clean and courteous. They needed to come back to remediate the HVAC units to custom fit the aluminum at the base. I expected them to contact me to setup. It has been 3 weeks and no contact has been attempted. UPDATE: After re-contacting the company, they made a great effort to contact me and schedule the finishing work a couple days later. There was a miscommunication on expectations on both parts and they apologized accordingly.

They have come out multiple times and treated both inside and outside for pests. I have seen much fewer pests since I stated my service with them. I am extremely satisfied.

He was punctual, pleasant, and professional. I was very pleased with his manner and the results of his work.

The service and the apparent overall knowledge of the technician to the issues were excellent! He provided me detailed findings for the immediate issues and recommendations to remedy the noted, top priority problems. A followup visit was scheduled for November 27th to correct the immediate concerns. The work was excellent. I would highly recommend this company to my family and neighbors.

We had Accel treat out house both inside and out in the fall last year. We signed up for their quarterly service during the initial service and never saw them again. Accel did not contact us to schedule another service but they certainly helped themselves to my credit card. When I called to see why I was getting charged and not receiving the quarterly service I was told by one of the two ladies who answer the phone for Accel ( Courtney or Shannon) that they will not contact me unless I ask. Since when does the customer have to ask for the service they are paying for? Call me old fashion but.... Shouldn't Accel be going out their way to see if all my needs are meet? Nope. Not unless you call to ask them too. So I fired them in the winter last year. I tried a few different pest control companies in the spring of this year and the actual service they provide isn't as good as the service Accel provides for the same price. Even though the customer service isn't there I went back to them thinking that this time would be different..... Nope again. This time I now have them doing the exact opposite. They are now scheduling quarterly service without actually getting in contact with me. They will sent an email on Monday to tell you that the tech will be at your house. In my case, 36 hours later. So on Wed at 11:00 the tech shows up without any of us knowing. Even though Accel sent an email they never talked to us to see if what they scheduled was what we wanted or even if we would be home. We were on travel and didnt get the email. We also wanted the tech to treat the inside of the house but Accel didn't know that because they didn't ask us. Again I called and was told that if I didn't ask to get contacts directly then an email was all that they were going to do. So.... I'm done with them. I'm getting tried of explaining simple customer service principals to them. Their pest treatment is great, however their customer service is a deal breaker for me.

These guys do once a quarter treatment and it's not getting the job done. He still have ants. The ants went away for a while but they just never went away totally. Their customer service was great and the technician was great. The final product was lacking.

cleaned I normally don't write reviews But I have to share this one. A few days ago I contacted another pest control company and set an appointment. When the person was 15 min. late i called to find out why. I called the wrong number and dialed Accel by accident. Cortney answered the phone told me I had called the wrong number. Now get this, she looked that number up for me ! I new then customer service is what it is all about. So after cancelling the other company, I didn't even get a call, I scheduled and appointment with Accel. Allen was here at the appointed time and confirmed my rodent problem was rats. He gave me and excel . Gave me an excellent price for and contract. Plus a discount for being on Angies List, Today Jason was here at the appointed time. He was friendly and neat. He put out traps and bait, then he sprayed inside my house for bugs. The he went outside Cleaned around all my windows and doors, then sprayed the same. He also did my shop. If I said I was impressed, it would be an understatement. I sure am glad I called the wrong number. I will be checking my current termite contract if a different company. When it expires, I will start it with ACCEL.

Service was great. very informative and he knew what he was doing. Haven't seen any bugs since the treatment. Very professional and completed the work in a timely manner.

I bought the deal and emailed them to set up an appt. They called me promptly to set up an appt. I was pleased that I got an appt. only 2 days out and that it was on a Saturday. The technician was on time and friendly. Very pleased. When he wasn't sure if I wanted to spray somewhere he just asked.

We were having problems with bees on our front porch and had roaches in our shed which were making their way indoors. There initially was a miscommunication on the date of service, so that is why they were given a B for responsiveness. Apparently they sent an email to set up the service date but I did not get it. It would've been better customer service for them to make a phone call to set it up instead of going by email. They were on time and provided excellent service! They were professional, polite, and got the job done! We have not any problems since.

I initially called them out for some unknown bugs I had outside and ended up signing up for their quarterly service. They identified the bugs (midges) and treated for them. They did inform me that there is no preventative treatment, so if they come back just call them and they will come spray again. The treatment they use only lasts a few weeks. I called them out two more times and each time they were professional, punctual and as per their quarterly service, there was no charge. An added bonus is that all of the products they use are animal friendly.

Things went well for the most part. When he asked if he could go upstairs, I told him yes; but, please knock if any doors were closed; well, he ended up walking in on my mother who was visiting and dressing for the day. He was very embrassed and very apologetic. Besides that, all was good. I have not seen ANY spider and that was our biggest issue. So, I would say good!

This guy, Tim Jackson, was OUTSTANDING. I strongly and highly recommend this company Accel for ALL with pest control problems and I would never even consider using anyone else. This guy was due to be at my place between 4:00 and 4:30. He called me at 3:15 to state that he was running a bit behind schedule to ensure that was not going to create an inconvenience for me. During the call, he once again, verified my address, which I thought was FANTASTIC considering the last company went to my old address. One more great plus for this group here. About maybe 45 minutes later, he called me to tell me he was about 15 or 30 minutes from leaving the Oceanfront and would be to me shortly. I mean that is just kind, considerate and respectful considering it was an evening appointment and I care for a disabled daughter. He showed up as promised at the time he estimated he would arrive, smiling, energetic, friendly, courteous and professional with eye contact and very helpful in explaining how bugs work. I went through my overall issues and he walked me through options and what his recommendations were. I went with him as we walked the exterior and I showed him the cob webs and such about the exterior and inside the garage. I told him about the mosquito issue outside and that I didn't have really any bugs to speak of inside and he was off to work after meeting my daughter and chatting with her and introducing himself to her, which REALLY meant the world to me. My daughter isn't able to speak and just LOVED Tim! :) He worked diligently, all business, very professional, and very focused on the job at hand for about 30-45 minutes and then touched base with me to explain where he was in the process. We talked through some options as far as ongoing service and I was absolutely interested and signed accordingly. He agreed to come back in October to spray for mosquitos once again. It was one of the most outstanding service-related experiences I have ever encountered and I highly recommend this company to neighbors and friends. More specifically, I recommend this gentleman, Tim Jackson and appreciate the work he performed and his professional, responsive, and courteous demeanor, despite what I'm certain had been a long, tiring day for him. It was nearly 6:15 when he parted my residence. THANK YOU!

I'd had a problem with ants for a few years, mostly in the kitchen and any pet feeding areas. I'd tried spraying, both interior and exterior, Taro liquid, ant stakes, gel and "homegrown methods" to include Borax paste. I jumped on this Angie's List Big Deal. The technician...Brian, I think did an excellent job...even went into the yard to treat existing ant mounds. My tech was extremely efficient, yet personable and possessed of a great sense of humor. I haven't seen a single ant since that time. I couldn't be more pleased and will use Accel again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend.

Went o.k.. Provider said I had "roof rats" in the attic at some point but I had just been up there and saw nothing. Did a god job, would call him again.

He was an hour early (according to my schedule, but right on time according to what he was told,) which was okay with us. Gentleman was very professional, friendly and knew what he was doing (had been doing it for 12 years.) He even sprayed the walkway. He explained what would happen the next few days, which was nice. A great price! All in all, a very pleasant experience! And - most importantly - no more ants!

The technician was on time. He was very knowledgeable. He explained a lot about my problem and prevention. He was friendly and professional and very neat. He took care in my home.

very well, I only saw part of what he did, but I saw him going for all cracks and crevices and searching for possible hiding places. He got rid of most of the bugs (I know that a bad infestation takes more than one time). He will return every two months to finish up. The man was very polite, friendly and professional.

They finished in 5 minutes...I wonder they thoroughly check all places at home..

The technicians, James and Tim, were wonderfully professional and personable, willing to explain every detail of the treatment, what each phase was intended to do, what to expect and how to contact for follow-up. Problem solved. What else is there to say?
