Accel Pest & Termite Control

The service worked out great and they were excellent. We had rats in our crawl space. There were not any in the house, but he found out where they were coming out and he sealed up the holes as well as set up some rat bait. He was here for a couple of hours. He was professional and he definitely knew his business and I appreciated that. I wished Angie’s List would let me give him an A+. After that service, I then signed up with their quarterly insect control program.

Lemanuel Williams was the servicer who was scheduled to arrive. He was 15-30 minutes, but he did call in advance to let us know of his tardiness and was very honest on why he was late. When he was here, he was able to answer questions in regards to possible pests. We just moved in and were seeing some large cockroaches around and were concerned that might pose a potential problem when we have all our belongings in the house. He stated that the increasing number was a very common issue for 2013 for many people. The bug's presence was due to the wooded areas and amount of rain we have received in 2013. Due to the service performed on a cold morning, some of his devices were frozen, but he was prepared and had alternative ways of treating the areas inside and outside of the house. At the end of his time, he discussed future treatments and gave advice of things that we could do for future.

The representative was very professional, thorough and offered insight into the problem.

Our adult daughter was present when the gentleman arrived to spray because my husband and I were at work; however, I did speak to him on the phone after he completed the job. He informed me that if we saw any more bugs in the next three weeks to call and they would return to spray again and it would be covered by the initial payment, which was nice to hear. There was no chemical odor inside/outside from the product they used, which I appreciated! He also told me that he would send me an email with information about a full service program but I haven?t received it yet.

Very professional and knowledgeable, answered my questions, provided "green" service and products as requested. Also gave me a quote on additional insulation for the attic which was noticed during pest inspection. Will continue to use their services.

They were good. They came out, looked at it, and sprayed. They responded very quickly, I believe the same day. She was very good on the telephone. The gentleman came when he said he was going to. He called to say he was going to be 2 minutes late or something which it didn’t turn out to be but it was nice of him to call.

I wasn't home during the service but did everything over the phone. They were always very professional and responsive. The inspector returned at a later date to rein spect for rodents in the traps that were set and thankfully no rodent issues.

The total experience was great. They arrived on time and treated the areas with a chemical that didn't have a strong odor. The first treatment solved the problem about 90% and they came out again and treated the area again. I assume this solved the problem, as the tenant has not call me. This is a great company to work with. Very professional and great communications. I have other rental properties and will use this company, when needed,. for my other properties

Service was done in a polite and professional manner. The job was also done thoroughly and to my satisfaction. The only problem was follow-through with scheduling a full inspection, which was not done. When I called I was assured an inspection would be scheduled, but the scheduler forgot.

It went very well. He went over and above and performed an extra service.

I had a roof rat problem inside my attic and outside in my yard. I've been handling the situation by setting up traps and caught dozens of them outside and a few in my attic....I'm a bit OCD so I went a little crazy with the situation. I needed to know where they were coming in though as I couldn't figure it out. I originally called a company that came out and charged me $150 for what they said would be a "full inspection". The guy was here for 20 minutes and 10 of them were spent talking to me. He did absolutely nothing and his exact words were "looks like you have this under control yourself". I can't believe I payed the guy but I did. I called Accel because i read the great reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Shannon and explained my situation. She was awesome! Such a pleasant person to speak with and she truly sounded like she cared....by the time I called Accel I was at my wits end with these stinking rats.(don't put bird feeders in your yard...I know that's what brought him in). Shannon said they would take care of me and give me a no obligation inspection. I was hesitant at first since I had this other company come out and payed them $150 for nothing. John came out the next day and performed an amazing inspection of my attic and around my house. I mean, he was all up in my attic walking around and in areas I didn't even think you could get to. He said my attic looked clean, but he believes he found where they were coming in and plugged it up....the A/C line coming into the house had a huge hole. John was here for over an hour and was very professional. After it was all done John said I didn't have to pay anything if I didn't want to, but he recommended that I get one of their plans for rats that also included pest control for various bugs. I told him I would sign up and try it for a year. He then said I didn't have to do it for a year if I didn't want to as they don't have contracts...what?!! Awesome! This company is amazing and very professional. If you go somewhere else you're crazy. I've tried some of the bigger companies in the past, and this company seems to be the best in the area. Well done, John, and well done, Accel! They also have a referral program that takes $25 off your bill. The first visit I owed nothing, and John put out rat bait traps still....I did sign something at this point for my first quarterly spraying. He came back a week later to check the stations and perform the first quarterly bug spraying...$100 total. $75 every 3 months after that and I can call them anytime and they will come back out at no cost. Awoke one morning 3 AM to scratching above our heads. Went to Angie's List looking for pest control and found that many companies had been reviewed mostly for insect control and not rodents. Accel seemed to have more (but not many) reviews about rodent control. Called first thing in the morning and spoke with Shannon, who was delightful and professional, and set up an evaluation that day. Now you must realize that unwelcome rodents in the house is more unnerving than insects any day, and expediency was key here so it was great they could come out so soon. Shon came out and did a thorough inspection and evaluation and determined the potential entry points and probable culprit to be a [shudder] rat. He set inside traps and placed an outside bait box. He explained the strategy for exclusion and capture of the animal and was very reassuring at a time when reassurance was important. Our neighborhood has had a major rat problem this year and friends and neighbors are full of true horror stories so the anxiety level was just a tad high. Cutting to the chase it took a week to get the animal and during that interval the company was very responsive to our calls and emails about continued sounds upstairs. On a Saturday a technician came out late to inspect the outside bait box and cover an entry point (under the deck) that had been missed initially. While we would have liked a quicker capture, these things do take time and we wanted the animal trapped and not to die upstairs and decompose creating a whole other series of problems. The company was honest, didn't push services we didn't need, was able to keep our concerns and some fears in perspective and got the job done. We signed up for the reasonably priced annual service and they left a bait box on the outside. This year has also been bad for Palmetto bugs (aka roaches) and recently we have seen 2 inside the house. Shon also did an inspection for evidence of them and treated as well. He also made recommendations on places in a crawl space that could be caulked to prevent insect intrusion which I could take care of. I'm sure he could have charged me to do it, but didn't push the issue. We have seen none since. Again reasonably priced and the followup and respray is included in their wide reaching annual program. All in all they have been to the house 4 times since the initial call. So far so good. Hopefully the rodent problem is solved. In summary this company is recommended for their courtesy, responsiveness and apparent effectiveness. Unlike some companies who at least appear to "hard sell" other services, Accel does not act this way. Each future appointment is confirmed by email. Price seems very reasonable and competitive including a discount for military and Angie's List users. The true test will be in the long term follow thru. We have purchased long term services from other companies (say for HVAC) and have had to nag the company to come out for the quarterly inspections and services. I have a good feeling that Accel will be more responsive.

Great! He went outside and sprayed and inside. They used a chemical that didn't have a terrible smell ( like raid) and was safe to be around when sprayed for pets and humans.

Awesome! Lemanuel was great!!!! Very professional and courteous, he did everything we asked and even helped us save money by letting us know things we could do ourselves to keep mice and other rodents out. I highly recommend the Accel!!!!!

Patrick, the technician, was excellent. He came right on time and got started right away. He went above and beyond to get rid of any pests that we may have at our house. He even gave us tips on how to keep the bugs out of our house. I was really impressed with the service provided. I would recommend this company to everyone.

We requested quotes from several companies and this was the cheapest as well as the only company who would spray indoors as well as outdoors. When we called to set the appointment we spoke to a very nice lady who answered all of our questions and help us set up an appointment; for our first appointment there was a minor mix-up causing us to re-schedule. When technician came out for the second appointment he arrived early and completed his work both inside and outside in a timely manner. We are very happy with the customer service we've received from this company and their staff and will continue to use their service.

The owner actually was the one who came to my home to do the inspection and service. He was very professional, polite, and personable. I had to call recently to get them to come out again but they did come out again at no service and the gentleman who came out was professional and helpful as well.

the people are friendly and there products work, you ask them to treat a part of the home and they do that the customer comes first not like the last company I used before they don't talk down to you.

it went very well the next we were free from mosquitos and still are . I am so please I have call them to take care of the rest of my home, I have fired my old exterminator and I am going with them I highly say go with these people they are friendly and know what they are doing they listen to you also not like the old company I had they never talk down to you not like the old company I had and you don't have to pay up front again not like the old company I had .

Saw termites in the laundry room. Came in and sprayed, dug holes in concrete, saturated the house. They came back and did a follow-up. They are a good group of professionals.

It went very well. The representative was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely call them again.

I called on Friday and he came on Saturday so he came right away. He had a lot of information and explained how the termites work. He knew what he was doing. I was in a rush and didn't check with anybody else. The price wasn't good in the short term but it was good in the long run.

Everything that was explained to me, they did. They were very profesional.

Extremely Professional and Prompt. I was doing some yard work out front and found some termites in front of the house. I looked around on Angie's list and found Accel and decided to try them. They came out promptly and on time. Quickly accessed the situation and what it would take to rid the house of the nasty things. I got a deal with livingsocial for interior and exterior pest control. I was do happy with the quality of their work I signed up for them to come our quarterly. Shon was very professional and took his time. I would recommend Accel to anyone that needs pest control services.
