Description of Work: He checked the whole house, inside and outside for insects. He treated ants on the outside and did preventative spraying. He found some insects inside and sprayed as well. He came back the next week to check for any more insects. He did a great job of eliminating any pests in the house. He was to check for rodents, but I had already had the treatment the previous year.

Description of Work: John came by and inspected the entire home, attic to crawl space. He set traps for existing rodents as well as put wire up to cover possible entry points. He came back before we went on vacation to empty traps. He informed us every step of the way.

+ -1 moreMy experience with them came out nicely. I called and they came out and I'm happy with what they did. It was a very good deal. In comparison to what I wanted done from other companies, it was a significant savings. They came in and did their thing outside and gave me an idea of what I might do in the future. They said to contact them every three months or so to make sure they don't reoccur. I couldn't have gotten that service anywhere for $49. The gentleman came in and got right to it. He sprayed the interior and around the baseboard. I asked him if we can stay inside with it and he said that was no problem at all. Then he went outside and did some type of application outside. He shared something he found outside, that there was probably a little colony of them under my bay window. That's when he suggested every three months. I was definitely happy with him. Everywhere else would have been much more.

We felt like we could call and ask for any service related topic and immediate response would be provided. Genuinely authentic concern for the family's well being in our new home. + -1 moreI purchased the 260 dollar deal for the initial treatment and the quarterly treatments for the year. He showed up when he said he would and was courteous and professional throughout the entire appointment. We had just purchased the house and were currently undergoing many renovations including ripping up the majority of the current floors and putting down either carpet, tile or hardwood in their place. We discussed this and he informed me that the bug spray that he was using wouldn't be affected by this because it was mainly applied to the basedboards, but the spider powder he used might not be as effective because it needed a few days undisturbed to have full effect. He then told me that if we had any issues with any bugs not just spiders, just to call and he would personally come out before the next quarter and take care of it for no additional cost. Overall, so far I have had absolutely no issues with them and I would fully recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreJohn was fantastic! Our tenants called us and said they heard scratching under the house. So I called in an Angies list professional, based on great reviews~! I was so glad for these reviews and blown away by the professionalism and determination of John! He hunted high and low to find an access point that these rodents could be using. He put out sticky traps and clamp traps. He followed up no less than 3 times to check traps and activity(droppings). The only place he could find they may have gotten in was sealed and 1 rodent was caught. No activity since!!! I would highly recommend this company for any services, as John has the care, consideration and determination to resolve any issue. Because he truly knows that "word of mouth advertising" truly is the best. Don't waste your time hunting any further, call him today!

+ -1 moreI had purchased a Big Deal for $49.00 for a Home Pest Control Treatment and Free Rodent Exclusion Inspection. Was contacted the same day I put in the request and an appointment was scheduled for the following week. Two representatives came out (I can't remember their names and cannot find where I wrote them down), they were on time and very professional. They checked out my concerns about insects/possible termites on the back patio against the house and informed me it was neither. They then inspected the inside of the house - every room and both attic accesses reporting there were no concerns at all. I was not charged for this visit and they suggested I hold onto the Big Deal and use it in the early spring when the insects, etc. are most likely to be a concern. I will definitely use this company again not only to utilize the Big Deal in the spring but also if I were to purchase a contract for home inspection services/treatment it would be with Accel. These guys were great!

They were all hardworking and professional...and very nice! While he was working, John Reid noticed that my son's car tire was dangerously low on air and fixed it. Description of Work: Removed and disinfected all traces of a horrific crawlspace rat infestation! Who knew that there were so many rats in the area?? One of the pitfalls of living near the water. We also had some nasty unnecessary insulation under there that was gathering moisture and critters. Never a good thing . They treated all the wood. All of our old grates/vents leading into the crawlspace were replaced. (The rats literally ate through the last ones to take up residence under my house...). They installed two crawlspace air inducers for our humidity problem. They put down a good moisture barrier, they sprayed areas that would invite termites. We have a large house so they spent quite some time here. They will be coming out several times a year for upkeep.

+ -1 moreIt was alright. I needed to have an actual treatment, so I got a discount as it was from Angie’s List which was fine. What I needed was far more than just the pest check. I was having some work done on my house and they had to have a certification, the house treated and stuff like that. They were very good, very quick and very efficient. There were no issues. With regard to price, I never really did check to see how they compared to others.

+ -1 moreWe opted to also use Accel for quarterly pest control. The quote for pest control plus termite protection was $440/year. We got an email from them a few days ago telling us that we could get a discount if we paid the year in full, which I took advantage of, so we are actually paying $378 for a year's worth of pest control and termite inspections. We haven't had any problems with bugs since we signed up with Accel. Before we had daddy long legs, sugar ants, and occasionally, beetles. They also found evidence of a rat in our garage (yuck), and that has been taken care of as well, with a trap that was left on our premises. I like the stress-free scheduling--they simply send me an email with the date and time that they will come out. If it's not convenient, I let them know and they change it for me. If it is, I don't have to do anything--they simply show up when they said they would. As long as our termite problem is resolved (and like I said, I'll know for sure when the weather starts heating up), I will happily continue with Accel. I will try to update this review around June or July to let you know if we have seen any more live termites.
Description of Work: The above cost is what I pay for a year's pest control service and termite protection. I initially paid $49 for 1 pest control visit. The owner of the company showed up and performed the service for me. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I told him I was dropping my termite company, and he went ahead and did a termite inspection and gave me a quote right there. I told him I would need to think about it for a while, and after I'd gathered a couple more quotes, I ended up choosing Accel. Their price was very competitive, their reviews are excellent, and Accel was the only company who addressed an aggressive treatment for a termite hotspot that we had just discovered. The other companies were only going to flood the house's exterior perimeter, and this hotspot was on an interior wall between bathrooms. They used a special foaming machine and drilled a small hole in the wall to treat the entire wall cavity with Termidor. Because we'd already been burned by another termite company, my husband and I took the time to make sure that the amount of termidor used on the invoice was the same as the company itself suggests--it was, and knock on wood, we haven't seen any termites since. The true test will come this spring as the weather starts to heat up.

+ -1 moreWe originally called for concerns with mice in the garage and were told we had insufficient water barriers under the house. They place traps in the garage (which we could have done ourselves) and put a water barrier under the house. I didn't know we needed one and honestly can't tell if it is there or not. We signed for a quarterly pest control plan. I have contacted the office by phone and/or e-mail no less than three times to get this cancelled. We are still getting billed for the service. The people at the office are very friendly and always assure me that we will no longer be billed?.until we get billed again. We have not used the pest control service since August. I have found it very frustrating to work with this company.
