Steve was on site throughout the job (multiple days) and allayed all concerns proactively. Would hire again!

I have never seen a more professional team work as hard as this one did. Steve and his crew were very professional and helpful. He came up with ideas I would never even thought of, he did more than I expected. I would and have recommended him and his company to anyone who has asked about the landscaping he did for me. Excellent service from start to finish. Steve laid out a plan and addressed all my questions and concerns until the project was complete. Him and his team showed up on time and where very professional. Additional, his crew touched up my soil, tweaked my irrigation system and thoroughly cleaned the entire work area/site prior to departing. Deserving of the highest rating, and I will request A-1 services again.

Outstanding! Big tree right next to house. Guys took great care removing it limb by limb. Clean up was great. Couldn't tell they were even there...except the trees were gone.

I am very pleased with the finished product following A1 Lawn and Landscape's install. After heavy rains we were having problems with the rain water accumulating in our back yard and even up around the foundation of our house. Steve came out and recommended a combination of an exterior drain pipe plus a french drain up near the house to re-position and re-direct the rain water so that it could be tied in with the city drain. Steve and his team performed the work in about a day and a halfs time and did a fantastic job overall. They also went to great lengths to protect the yard while working with heavy digging equipment, which we really appreciated. From start to finish we were very pleased that we selected A1 for our project. Steve did a great job of communicating with us on what was going on with the project, when they would be at the job site, what could be expected to be completed that day, etc. Steve was also always on time and very professional. The project turned out great and we would definitely recommend Steve and to anyone needing landscape work done.

What can K say except, fantastic. The owner and crew were beyond professional. The crew did high quality work, showed up early and got the big job done in one day only 2 days after my initial phone call. They stopped our horrible garage flooding problem and they were about $11,000 cheaper than what other companies quoted us. High quality professional work for a fair price. Highly highly recommend!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Steve and his team. 2 years ago A1 Lawn & Landscaping Service put a french drain around my house and did a great job then. This time I called them to update the landscaping around our house. We had a lot of green but no color. Steve came out worked with my wife and me to come up with a design and plan based on what we wanted. We agreed on a plan, start date, and price. The work started exactly on time and finished within the time that Steve committed to. Along the way, I asked for changes to the plan and some additional unplanned work. At the same time, Steve made some recommendations to add a few items. Great recommendations that added some but not a huge amount of cost to the overall project. Steve is a perfectionist (something I truly appreciate). If I asked for something that he didn't think would look good he was happy to make recommendations that gave me what I was looking for but also matched the overall design. His team is very efficient and most impressively, Steve isn't just a business owner who stops by to collect payment. He was here every day on his hands and knees working with his team doing the actual work. After the work was completed we called Steve with a few questions about some of the plants and edging. Not only did he respond quickly, he came over and looked at the items with me and resolved a simple concern. They are not the cheapest company in the area, but I truly believe they are the best. I would recommend Steve (A1 Lawn & Landscaping Service) to anyone who takes pride in their property and is interested in working with a qualified, talented business owner who will treat your property as if it was his own, then this is the company to call.

Great - all the trees and shrubs were trimmed, flower beds weeded, and appropriate week killer was researched and applied to my Zosia grass, and misaligned/loose brick pavers were repaired.

My experience with "Steve" Nassam has been consistently of the highest order. He is prompt. He makes good on his promises...even when the weather was the primary reason my gardenias got fried he replaced them since it had not been even a year. We added some additional hedge for privacy at his suggestion. I sit on my porch now and am wafted by the gardenias while watching hummingbirds feeding. Life is simple and good!

It went okay. He showed up the day the flower beds were installed and didn't have any of the original flowers I wanted, and wanted to charge me an extra $750 for what he did bring. I believe I was over-charged for a couple items. Put 50% down and then didn't hear from him for several weeks, that is until I called him. He did show up and the job was completed. I mentioned to him when he was done about standing water in the front yard, he said it would go away. I'm still waiting for it to dry out. It was a total gut job of my front yard, I'm glad it's over.

When I met Steve (owner) on my property, he was very knowledgeable and understood right away the scale of the work needed for our home. He measured right away and gave us an estimate. The weather was very bad most of the weeks we were to have work done, but the first week of decent weather his team was prompt and courteous. They left the property better than how they found it. At the end of the project, our final cost was not much more than the estimate that was originally given. We are extremely happy with A1's service and product! Thank you Steve! We have received so many compliments on our flower beds already!!

Steve was very professional to work with, we talked over a couple ideas together and then came up with a plan of action. He completed the work within the timeframe he gave during the estimate. It was very easy and convenient to get ahold of Steve with any questions or concerns. All his workers were very kind and diligent. Steve came back when the work was finished to check on things and even helped me set up my hose and sprinkler for proper watering! A1 was great to work with and our yard looks amazing!

Took much too long to complete fence, about ten days. A few days were due to weather but the subcontractor never showed up before 10:30, left before 3 and worked alone. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and worked pretty steady the last 3 days. He immediately corrected issues I pointed out to my satisfaction. We have since found a stump that was not removed. The contract also stated we would receive topsoil and seed. What seemed to fill the holes where the trees were looks to be wood chips instead of topsoil and we won't know until spring if the seeding was done. I asked that one of the trees be cut for firewood instead of chipping it. The owner said "yes, we can do that" but didn't tell me it would be an additional charge until I was making the final payment. We feel the cost of removing the trees, bushes and stumps was much too high. We are, however, pretty satisfied with the work done by this small company.

Steve Is a consummate professional. He is one of the best contractors we have ever dealt with. His price was extremely competitive and he couldn't have done a better job. Communications were easy and job was completed exactly when he said it would be. We are thrilled with the finished product. We highly recommend A1.

Very happy with Steve and his crew. His pricing was reasonable compared with other quotes we received. Steve is very professional and gets the job done fast and right. Probably the hardest working group of guys I've seen. Would highly recommend and will use for future landscaping needs.

As always, Steve and his crew are prompt with great communication. Fantastic. Steve came out within a few hours of my initial call and had an idea of what he wanted to do right away. He gave me a rundown and worked up a quote on the spot. Since my flower bed was filled with weeds he sprayed and had me call him back when they were dead. A few days later I called and Steve was back with his crew the next afternoon. The work took under two hours and looks amazing. They even cleaned up my driveway at no charge. Super happy with the work and would not hesitate to hire again or recommend.

Very well. you can barely notice the generator from the road, and the landscaping looks great. Multiple neighbors have commented on how good it looks.

Great, but I'm tired of the first review I write not posting

"Steve" was first of 3 to respond to my bid requests. He also recommended gutters and a dry well for HVAC drain. His landscaping suggestions were invaluable. Work was done promptly (when our turn came up...he's, understandably, in demand.) and in a manner well beyond my expectations. He is not the cheapest game in town, but he may be the best. Chinese proverb: "Buy the best and cry only once". Footnote: I was in a jam needing dirt removed and sand brought in for a porch/deck foundation I had started. Steve was Johnny-on-the-spot getting it done on short notice so my framing crew did not have to sit on their hands for half a day or more.

Great. This is the 2nd time I've used A1 Lawn & Landscaping Services (Steve) and he always follows through. He tells you what he can do and always performs. He was able to grade my yard that had 3 trees, sprinkler heads, and fencing. They killed the grass and then brought in about 12 yards of dirt. A huge project but, the end results are perfect. Steve is willing to do the hard jobs that I find most landscapers aren't interested in. I'll finally have a beautiful lawn in the backyard. :)
