Utterly fantastic - work began less than 3 weeks from 1st contact. Completed in 3 days. The masonry crew literally jogged from task to task. The workers were friendly and explained what they were doing. Upon completion, there were a few things that Steve Hassan (the owner) noted that he'd like to take care of. His team came back to smooth some uneven ground and reinforced the new fence where he saw that it might warp. I've worked with and around contractors for years and this level of follow-up is far and few between. The total price was very competitive, but a real bargain based on how efficiently and quickly the job was completed. There were no "other" jobs that mysteriously took the team away for intermittent periods. Bottomline: As a career Navy family, we deeply appreciate honest, valuable work - and this was definitely it! Would hire again without looking anywhere else.

The finished results on our half of acre property looks better than we expected. We got exactly what we paid for and more. Steve Nassan and his crew was respectful and went above and beyond. He communicated well with the neighbors and city officials as if he was protecting our family. We will definitely consult him for future Landscaping needs.

I was happy with the service from start to finish. I inquired on a Sunday morning, received a call and estimate that day. Offered great communication and the work was done flawlessly from start to finish. A must hire if you need any tree work taken care of.

The whole experience was amazing. Came in under all the other quotes. This was the best experience I have had with a Contracter, after three properties in several states. He was on time, on budget, and overall a pleasure to work with. Steve and his entire crew were extremely professionally and polite to my wife and I. If you have some work to be done this is the company you want! Steve does what he says and says what he does. No corners cut and nothing but results.

Steve and his crew are the best! We used them 7 years ago re-design our back yard landscaping after having an inground pool installed and it is beautiful. We have since used them for fall clean ups and are always happy with how neat they are while they work. We recently used them for a re-fresh on our flower beds in our front yard and they did not disappoint. We will continue to use them for all of our landscaping needs.

Steve and his crew are great! Steve is very conscientious and goes above and beyond to make things right. We had a couple of unforeseen hiccups with the project and Steve came back several times to fix any problems. He responds quickly to emails or text messages which makes it very easy to work with. Steve has vast experience in his trade and takes great pride in his work. We have used Steve for several projects and plan to use his services again for future projects.

We have used Steve/A1 twice now and have been beyond happy with his work and customer service. In regards to the quality - always top notch. I am a perfectionist and not always the easiest to please :) Steve's work is impeccable! Even when I changed my mind on part of the landscape work mid-project, Steve just went with it and made sure I was 100% happy with the design/finished product. Everything looks perfect! Steve is also incredibly responsive, always getting back to me in less than 24 hours; and his pricing is beyond fair. From start to finish Steve and his team delivered excellent customer service, and the work completed was top notch. Steve called me within 24 hours to set up the estimate. During the in-person estimate Steve made sure we were both on the same page in regards to the desired outcome. A written estimate was provided breaking down the services and charges. Steve was very friendly, and pricing was good. I am very happy with the grading and seeding work completed. Steve was on site and working from start to finish to ensure that the work was completed to his standards, which well exceeded my expectations. Steve and his crew did a great job replacing my front yard with gravel. They also fixed up a flower bed for me and put in new plants. Everything looks great.

They designed a beautiful landscape plane for around the pool and on the side of the house. All the old mulch was removed; new mulch spread over new and existing plants, drainage problems addressed, fence post replaced, pavers installed% of the time, team was prompt and neat, The end result was beautiful.

No complaints with job. Complaint is about this company’s business ethics. Cut my sprinkler system head as they were digging and refused to pay for damage. I had my sprinkler contractor come and repair the damage. The damage was bad enough to shut down the entire watering system pressure. Bill was $140.00. A1 Landscaping has refused to repay me for this damage and therefore, I find their business ethics deplorable and after having them come to my house two other times, until such time as they stand up to their pledge of SATISFACTION GUARANTEED, I will continue try and secure payment through legal recourse.

What a great pleasure it was to work with Steve and his crew. The service and timelines were spot on. Steve was very attentive to taking care of my property during the installation so no damage was done. Definitely would hire again.

They did a fantastic job! Sod was put down in February and it is still doing very well. They were extremely professional and knowledgable. The work was done quickly and they in a short time I finally have a lawn I can enjoy. They also removed a few trees and ground the stumps. You'd never know they were there. They mulched around the remaining trees as well. It was all money well spent, A1 does amazing work.

Steve and his crew were great to work with. When Steve came to review and quote the job, we discussed the options to solve our standing water issues in our yard. Steve was confident he could solve our issues and showed before and after pictures of similar jobs he had done. The day Steve came to do the work he arrived earlier than the crew to prepare the site and materials so his crew would hit the ground running. Steve was onsite both days they were here, doing some of the work himself alongside his crew. He answered all the questions we had during the two days taking the time to stop and explain things to us. He had to return a third day to bring additional dirt to complete some grading. It rained on Friday and Saturday, so he showed up on Sunday with a crew member to complete the grading. Steve followed-up a few weeks later to make sure the yard had settled properly and to re- grade and re-seed. We would recommend Steve (A1) to anyone with water issues!

Steve is our lawn guy. We've used him at least twice a year for the last 3 years and we love our yard! He and his team have reshaped our landscaping, moved trees around, tidied up the beds and bushes, fertilized the grass and seeded. He also helped us redirect the drainage, dug trenching and remove some of the rocks that were causing an issue with water flow. We have an 11-zone sprinkler system and he helped us prep and prime the sprinklers to get them in ship shape. He's a local, very skilled, offers a fair price and works really hard. We've recommended him to others who have been very happy as well.

Steve responded quickly to our request for quote. We told him what we wanted done and he added suggestions to improve the overall appearance of flower beds. We are glad we selected Mr. Nassan to perform this job as the results reflect a high degree of professionalism.

Quick response. When we called for an evaluation. We were impressed with his evaluation of the problem and his recommendation. He actually ran water to show us the flow. (Simple things paint a picture). He and his crew were punctual, wasted no time. (Did not spend time on their phones!). He worked right along with his crew. They kept the worksite clean. We even hired him on the spot to do additional landscaping work. When he finished, He must have done a rain dance as we had a horrendous rain storm and could see the immediate results of his work! Highly recommend! I would hire him again.

Excellent work by the business owner and his landscaping team. The rad looks very manicured now, and ready for the new season. They did a great job on the hedge bordering the neighbor's fence. They had to trim both sides so that the hedge was not poking through the chain link fence, and cleaned out the detritus from under the bushes. Looks very good now. The hedge can breath finally. This was a big job.

First off let me just say that I had 6 different quotes to perform the job that Steve and his crew did for me. More often than not I felt like most of the other contractors were trying to up-sell me for work that I didn't want. Steve came over to do the estimate, asked me what is the problem and I what I would like done, and that was that. The only time we deviated from the original quote was when we added an additional speed basin. It was a smart choice and I truly could not be happier with the out come. Our backyard used to be a swampy mess and I never liked going back there because of that. Now, the yard is ten times better! After the two big storms we had recently, the drain systems are working as they should and the back yard is no longer swampy. Bottom line, Steve and his crew are very professional, friendly, and know their stuff when it comes to landscaping. I would without a doubt hire these guys again in the future for any landscaping needs. Thank you Steve and your entire crew, the yard is looking great now thanks to you guys!!

They were on time, efficient, easy to work with, knowledgeable. They transformed our yard and it's no longer the most embarrassing house on the street! The only glitch was that they encountered some unforeseen problems which ended up nearly doubling the estimate, so there was some sticker shock. I went forward with the added services because they were so good and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Steve is excellent to work with and he custom designed my back deck and pool area. The yard looks beautiful and will be easily maintained with the type plants he suggested to plant. My lawn also needed to be killed, aerated and seeded and it’s still green. Lastly he installed an inground sprinkler system that made my life easier this past summer and fall.
