In a word "excellent." The owner was businesslike and pricing was very fair. Materials were onsite a day ahead, so the crew arrived on time and they actually completed it earlier than I had expected. They also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I can definitely recommend this company.

We are 100+ percent satisfied with A-Z Creative Contractors. We have used their services three times, so far, and have had a positive experience each time. A-Z is our "Go To" contractor for all of our future construction projects. Alex Rodriguez is a personable individual who always arrives on time as scheduled. He provides a realistic time frame, for the completion of project(s), as well as up front cost, product & design options. We were encouraged to ask questions and have "hands on" involvement in the selection of materials; tile, flooring, vanity style/color etc. As with previous projects, this renovation ran like clockwork. No surprise costs, delays or negative issues. It's refreshing to have finally discovered a contractor who is decent, honest, and who strives for total customer satisfaction.

IT TOOK A GOOD WHILE BETWEEN MY ORDER DATE AND THE ACTUAL WORK PERFORMANCE AND COMPLETION DATES. THE DOOR FRAME WORK WENT WELL AND QUICKLY BUT THE VENT COVER GOT COMPLICATED. THE COMPLICATIONS WERE NOT DUE TO THEIR WORK. THE VENT WAS SO ROTTED IT HAD TO BE REPLACED (NOT REPAIRABLE) WITH A SPECIAL PART ORDERED AND AN ADDITIONAL COST (WHICH WAS UNKNOWN AT THE START BUT THAT HE REPORTED TIMELY AND HE ORDERED FOR ME). THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS GOOD.

The area that Alex repaired was completed in a timely and professional manner. Those areas that were affected were returned to their pre-fire state, if not better. Alex went above and beyond to help my family during this difficult time. He met with our insurance adjuster, and spoke with him over the phone to make the case that our supplement was not enough for all the damages. He, even fixed a toilet that was improperly installed. The list of the additional work that Alex completed goes on and on. I do not have any hesitations about ever recommending Alex to anyone. I never write reviews; however, Alex is the exception. Alex is one of the rare finds, an honest contractor that you can trust!!

I would just say that if they are going to advertise that they fix wood rot, they should be able to fix wood rot. Basically what they wanted to do was upsell me. I had some wood rot on a door frame and he said I would have to replace the whole door frame. I used to be in contracting and know that I do not have to replace my whole door frame.

The terms of the work that they were proposing to do was all in the contractors favor. I wanted to make some changes and they refused to do so. I ended up getting a refund through Angie’s List

I did not get much out of it and they just gave me an idea of how much it would cost.

A to Z worked with me and helped me design the bathroom. They asked me what I wanted and helped me pick out tiles, color schemes, etc. They were patient when I couldn't decide on some tile and as soon as I received the tile, they came over to complete the project. They made sure after identifying all the leaks that the rest of the house where there were potential leak problems were alright- such as on the 2nd floor with a washing machine and a jacuzzi. They fixed what needed to be fixed- no more and no less- and used material that we already had from the previous owners of the house. They were very professional, helpful, experienced, honest and paid attention to detail. I also liked that they layed out barrier cloth inside the house so that when they went from the garage/outside to the bathroom, they wouldn't get the floors dirty. I plan on having them do more projects in my home - putting in another bathroom on my first floor and wiring electricity out to my deck.

They said they were too flooded with requests to get me scheduled. So I couldn't get the work done due to scheduling issues.

Excellent. Very conscientious, professional and reliable at a reasonable price. It was hard to find a contractor that was a Jack of all trades but Alex and his team did a tremendous job. I will be using them again in the future and I give A-Z Creative Contractors my highest recommendation.

The service went well. We paid an additional fee to have them do extra wood replacement. I thought additional fee was reasonable. Two technicians complected the job in a couple days. They worked on the first and second floor of the house. We supplied the materials for the job which worked out for us. They did a good job and were very honest about the situation. I had no problem scheduling the deal. They came out right way and were punctual.

He wouldn’t show up. He’d apologize and re-schedule.

He came out and did the work for me. I had to pay more since the job took longer to do. He was doing the wood restoration and repair that was around my windows.

They did a great job! They were friendly people and they were pretty punctual. The bathroom looks so much better than it used to. There was a crew from 2 to 5 people at a time. The price jump did kind of take me by surprise.

It was perfect, it was wonderful! We had a problem with people with people not showing up at all or being late. With A-Z, the first day they couldn't come because of the rain, so they said that they would be here at nine o'clock the following day and they were here on the button- nine am, here they are. They did beautiful work. I was very happy. I would recommend them to anybody. I would give them an 'A' plus plus plus! They were here on Monday the 14th. It ended up costing six hundred and fifty dollars. They replaced a porch post for us that had been loose for about six years. They replaced a socket outside where there was wood rot, and they also replaced some trim that was wood rotted. They are very cordial and polite and friendly. They went right to work, no nonsense. They answered questions that came up. Other than that they kept busy. They cleaned up their mess when they left and you wouldn't know that they were here. We are very pleased with them.

There were problems getting them out there when they had agreed and communicating when there was a going to be a delay. I would have rated that a "C", but since some of the problems were caused by the ridiculous weather we had this winter, some of it was beyond their ability to fix. However, they could have tried harder to communicate problems with scheduling and found a way to fit in a small job with all the work that had to be rearranged. Having said that, the work was done well, professionally, and neatly. It looks very nice, and the air leak is gone. I will hire them again.

The crazy February/March weather caused a couple delays in when the work could be completed, but Aaron kept in touch with me and kept rescheduling my work. He seemed very professional and easy to deal with. The work was high up on the front of my colonial house but that didn't affect the pricing. Aaron and his assistant completed the work quickly and professionally, including painting the replacement piece to match my existing trim. Will definitely be my first call when I need this type of work in the future.
