A-Z Creative Contractors

Through no fault of this company, I will be using a different contractor. It was too late in the season to do wood rot repair when I purchased the Big Deal. Wood must be painted within a certain temperature range, which is iffy in the late fall and winter. He was good enough to give me an estimate of all wood rot repair needed, which was extensive. We decided to wait until spring, and he graciously agreed to honor the price. Alex R. from A-Z Creative Contractors was very professional and responsive at all times. I had no complaints with him at all.

We had a problem with our dryer vent tubing and called A-Z Creative Contracting. Alex said he would be out the next day to take care of it. They were here first thing in the morning, replaced the tubing and took care of the problem efficiently and effectively just like the last time we used them for other work around our house. If you want a contractor that is honest and stands by his work, call Alex at A-Z Creative Contracting. They are really great to work with. Very highly recommended!

They arrive on-time, work quickly and expertly, clean up as they work, and leave the work site sporless when they are done. Their craftsmanship is superb. i highly recommend them.

We would highly recommend them for any home repair work. They were excellent to work with because they always let you know when they were coming, very skilled and reasonably priced.

Although the color of the tile A-Z initially indicated would be installed was different from the clor actually installed, and the prirce increased for extra layer of tile removal, the work was done professionally and expeditiously. The color of the tile actually installed has grown on us and I think we prefer it to the display tile color. These guys also worked straight through until the job was done, no breaks or "disappering acts". I would highly recommend A-Z.

Took up old ceramic tile and replaced with new porcelain tile. They did everything well as far as trying to keep the dirt and mess to a minimum by laying down runners and putting a fan in window to blow out dust, wiping wall down etc. I would say they did a very good job. Tile looks great.

I purchased an Angie's deal for $ 349.00 for a tiled backsplash for a kitchen or tile a bathroom floor up to 40 sq. ft. Deal was suppose to include all labor & supplies. I chose to have a small kitchen backsplash tiled. First of all, Alex and his assistant were very professional and punctual. He contacted me right away with photos of past jobs and when he first appeared to see what needed to be done, he wore booties and used drop cloths so as not to damage the floors. Big plus! The work date was performed as stated and performed in one day! Another big plus! The only negative comment I had was that when I told Alex what I needed to be done, he stated that he had run out of the tiles that the deal offered, so they would install a tile of my preference at no additional cost. I understood that any decorative tile or trim would be additional. Alex recommended a 6x6 tile which I felt was too large for the area so I chose a simple 4x4 tile that I had to purchase myself and he said he would reimburse me for. Alex quoted 30 sq. ft but the job actually was 23 sq ft. Not a problem, since I could return the left over tiles for a credit from the store. But when Alex reimbursed me for the tiles purchased, I was disappointed that he only reimbursed me for $21. I found it hard to believe that one decorative tile installed and which I purchased, and 2 trim tiles installed could cost a difference of $40.00. Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the work performed and the quality of the backsplash. Especially due to the fact, that day was one of the coldest on record and much of the tile cutting was performed outside! Would I use A-Z Creative contractors again, Yes but maybe not buy a Angie's deal that states it includes supplies. .

Went well, showed up when the said, worked through the day, called me in when there was a question or issue. Very professional, impressive cleanup! Cloth tarps used everywhere in the house that they needed to walk.....Looking to use them for a full install on out other bathroom!

I purchased their Angie's list deal that included materials and labor for $350 per bathroom. There was an additional $60 fee per room to install the tiles diagonally. Alex and his two man crew are a great group of guys. They were careful to maintain a clean working environment and protected my home from damage. They laid drop cloths along the entire path they used throughout the house. They were attentive to details. On several occasions I heard them request that a measurement be double-checked: "Measure twice, cut once." We upgraded the standard threshold that Alex used, but beyond that, we were very pleased with the materials he provided at the flat rate. Alex projected that the job would require five days, but it was completed by 3:00 on the third day.

Alex was very professional and did a very good job. all materials that were purchased prior to service was handled with care, and his work was neat and precise. Alex adjusted all outlets to accommodate the new backsplash. the wall was a blank canvas, as it was a brand new house. all necessary products were supplied by Alex, and he had the entire kitchen done in less than a day's work. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a fair and courteous establishment. Alex kept his word and finished the job beautifully and on time. Thank you so much for the work you did. My wife and I were more than pleased with the craftsmanship that went into upgrading our kitchen. We searched months for the right contractor and definitely made the right choice in choosing A-Z Creative Contractors.

Alex is very professional, and he has always kept his word. I haven't received the completed work as of yet, but once I do, I'll give a review. Up until this point, though, I haven't had a single problem with Alex. He has kept his word each and every time he has agreed to meet with me. I highly recommend A-Z Creative Contractors to anyone looking for a safe and honest company.

Alex did exactly what I needed done. He responded quickly, getting the work done within a week of my contacting him. My wife was away and I wanted to surprise her. I have an estimate for more work in the future. I highly recommend him.

Alex was very knowledgeable and stated everything that would be done when he returns in a few weeks. He was very punctual and responsive, keeping his time scheduled and always answering/returning phone calls. I haven't had the service completed yet, but I don't foresee there being an issue. Alex explained that he was currently working on a bathroom renovation and would contact me with a set date, once he was finished with his current job. He was very polite and took the time to explain everything to me. As long as he follows through with the job, I would have no problem recommending him to anyone.

Overall,the contractor was responsive to my request.They were prompt in scheduling an appointment for an estimate, and they arrived at the agreed upon time.

He hung a heavy mirror, an ironing board holder and curtain rods. These were in old plaster and in each instance there was a problem with the plaster 'chipping'. Meanwhile his helper dismantled a linen closet, did some patchwork where the plaster had come off - then painted it all. Assembly of two rubbermaid upright rods for brackets but again problems with the basic plaster walls. Both gentlemen were very pleasant!

The job was very well done. Alex was prompt in returning phone calls and scheduling the job. He worked us in between some large jobs that he already had scheduled so he could finish the job promptly. He was very courteous. The quality of the work is excellent. Several of the neighbors commented on how nice it looks and have asked me to ask him if he will give them quotes on projects at their homes when he returns to paint. Alex is very professional and I will use him again.

Alex contacted the day after I purchased my Big Deal. I spoke with him regarding the remaining work I needed done in my kitchen and bathroom. I explained to him that I had to fire the contractor I initally hired because he either wouldn't show to perform the work and kept pushing the completion date to the right. I explained I needed to have the counter tops I'd purchased installed as well as completing reconnecting the sink, disposal, and dishwasher. I also needed him to install the filler for the wall cabinets. He stopped by one week after my purchase to review my "to-do" list and verify I had everything needed for the job. I purchased more items than needed for the install so he let me know which items I could return to HD. After patiently listening to me, he sat down and explained what he would do and made sure I understood the job from start to finish. He (and his helper) came by 3 days later and did the project. It went quicker than I expected. The job was professionally done. He cleaned up after himself and even corrected issues the first installer caused. I truly love the work he did and will definitely use him again. I have not had pleasant experiences with handyman or contractors in the past, but I am pleased to state that Alex has taught me that their are honest, ethical, professional, and courteous contractors in the world. Thank you!

I hired A to Z creations to install a fence between two buildings. Mr. Rodrigues arrived on time and was very professional and considerate. The install was completed on time and left in great shape. If I need any future projects, he will be my first call.

He looked at the bathroom and did a design plan and cost. Everything was fine. We decided not to spend the money for the remodel.

Alex came in listened to our wants, needs and dreams regarding the bathroom and presented a complete and comprehensive estimate for us. Unfortunately the financing fell through so we couldn't get the job done. However, when the time and money come around we will definately be contacting Alex to come and do the job.

I think it was a waste of money. I was kind of expecting something more visually appealing and it was just like a piece of paper, a 2D rough sketch. I just didn't feel like I could have gone out and do the work. And, they took a long time to get it back to me; I actually had to ask them for it. I didn't get it for like a month. I wouldn't use their design in the future. But, if I got a really good design and I wanted work done and I wanted to bid it out, I might give them an opportunity to give me an estimate.

We contacted the service provider and set a date. He came out and we received an email a week later reminding us to pick the style of cabinets and he would meet us at a cabinet place. About two or three weeks later we received the rough quote along with another reminder.

The price was very reasonable and they were good to work with. The quality of their work was excellent. They were there when they said they were going to be here. I plan to use them again.

(See above) Alex Rodriguez was great to work with. He was knowledgeable, patient and respectful--and turned out a very attractive (and structurally sound) product. Alex always contacted me when he found a problem (which was frequent, due to the age and unusual construction of the property). He took the time to discuss things in detail, and he offered alternative solutions. He and his employees were hard working, respectful of the neighbors, and efficient. I do not live in the city where my property is, but I felt totally comfortable with Alex's recommendations. I highly recommend Alex and A-Z Creative Contractors, whether the project is small like this one, or significantly larger.

A to Z came out looked at the kitchen and we have not heard back from them since.
