A Friendly & Affordable Mover

Professional, on time, and courteous. All movers involved were respectful and polite, but only one (the leader) had the experience. Six showed up to my 1600 sq ft, three bedroom house, and two unloaded at our new place. Just a few critiques... 1) they ran out of room on their truck, so we had to scramble with a few boxes and bags; 2) our garage door wouldn't close after they left, and we found that one of the sensors had been bumped (the majority of our boxes were in our garage). Since our closing date was in a couple of days, I had to quickly settle this and pay for it. 3) the less experienced movers did not properly tape/wrap some furniture, and did not completely disassemble our baby's crib because they stripped a screw... Aside from that, no complaints! Could have been much worse, considering the stories you read and hear.

The men were friendly, professional and hardworking. We enjoyed the experience very much.

The professionalism of the office staff and scheduling was great. The movers and the management of the movers - not so great. The movers showed up on time. I gave them time to get going. However, within the first 45 minutes it was evident they were going to move purposefully slow and take smoke breaks. At 150 per hour, I was not ok with this. I told both of them they need to do their jobs, as I’m paying 150 per hour. One smirked at me. Oh, the joys of dealing with men as a female. I stopped what I was working on in the kitchen and started helping them do their jobs to save time. I contacted management and he showed up to apparently assess the scene. He said he would make the start time 45 minutes later as “ it was only fair.” The rest of the move was completed. At the end, management told the movers to charge me 86 dollars more than what was due, as I had already calculated it. He attributed his incorrect calculation to the fact that the 10 percent coupon had not processed. However, the amount added to my total was more than what would have been taken off when using the coupon. Within a few seconds, he agreed my calculations were correct. In my opinion, I was treated this way because I am a youngish female existing without a man around. I figure they figured I am passive and wouldn’t check behind them. Well, they were wrong. Business tip - Women also pay you, and not all women are scared to say something.

Very professional, personable and responsive. They showed up as promised and delivered the piano with great care. I would highly recommend them to others as well as use them again. Top notch!!!

Rep was very nice and told me they are in Virginia Beach and don't drive all the way to MN.

The movers were right on time, this is a fantastic company. The movers were professional courteous and were careful with all furniture. They were right on the job and it took no time for them to have everything packed and moved. I will highly recommend this company for all your moving needs.

The guys that did the moving were quick and careful. They took care of all my heavy or awkward furniture so i wouldn't have to! They made sure to protect everything as they loaded and unloaded.

The Staff was welcoming and very cooperative with our moving needs. The two movers were professional, organized, took great care with furniture, including items such as large mirrors, framed paintings, tables, chairs, large screen TV, and so much more. They both were caring and compassionate as the move was to an assisted living location. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent moving company and I will contact them again.

Office staff were very friendly when scheduling the move and the moving crew showed up on time, took care packing things properly and worked efficiently. We would definitely work with this company again.

One lamp broken, ordered and paid for wardrobe boxes, instead took 12-15 hangers out of closet, folded together in half, put in boxes- all clothes wrinkled horribly-did not put boxes in right rooms-seem in hurry to leave.

A representative visited my apartment and gave me a quote for the job. The young men were professional, hard working, careful with my possessions. They didn't even take a break until the job was competed. I would hire them again.

They were wonderful! Very helpful. Showed up on time and worked efficiently to do what needed to be done. Also, with only 1 day notice.

During local move, a king mattress was damaged to the point it cannot be slept on- apparently broken springs. The mattress was perfect the morning prior to move, and problem discovered the first evening after moving. Problem reported the next morning. I had to make multiple contacts to company via phone calls, texting, emails in order to get response. I requested on site inspection, which was denied. I requested paperwork to initiate a claim, which was denied. They asked for a photograph, and denied my claim based on the photograph, citing manufacturer defect. The mattress was purchased new five years ago, kept in guest room, slept on less than 20 times in the course of ownership. I had slept on it two weeks prior to the move due to illness which kept me from my own bed. It was perfect. We had guests two weeks prior to our move. They reported that it was great. The company was happy to take my $$, and I was happy to pay, even generously tipping the men. I DID expect follow up customer service in the event of an issue. There has been NONE. I have operated a design company for 30 years, and put customer service at top priority in my company. I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a moving company- do your research, people. And I’m hopeful that Angie’s list will reconsider their endorsement.
