The two gentlemen showed up 5 min early. They were very courteous and professional. Got the job done in less than 30 minutes. I will hire them again in the future!!

Movers showed up on time and were very professional. They did not waste any time and were very careful with all of the furniture. Would definitely use them again in the future.

From my first phone call to Friendly and Affordable Movers , to the last handshake with Jeramie and Tony D, the company and its' employees were very professional, prompt, polite and most importantly moved the items with care and knowledge In a very timely manner. I can not begin to thank Jeramie and Tony D. For making my morning run so smoothly and without a worry. I highly recommend Affordable and Friendly Movers if you need a few items or an entire home moved.

First, I purchased the Big Deal on Friday 12/6/13 and needed the move this morning 12/9 at 10:00 A.M.. The people went out of their way to schedule a team exactly when I needed it. The movers were Tony and Dwayne, and they were fast, courteous and very professional. The entire move was done in under 90 minutes! All I can say is thank you for a job well done guys. I would recommend these movers to anyone!

Our crew was Eric, Mark and Nick. They did an outstanding job moving our heavy and large furniture from our apartment to a three level house. We have a lot of heavy/large furniture and they all went above the call of duty to get everything to the floor level we requested. They also showed up on time and had an amazing work ethic. We would definitely use them again and they have our highest recommendation.

The drivers where professional. The 2 worked hard and moved me quickly. They called that morning to infom me of their arrival time at and called while I was still on the road stating they where in NC and ready to move things in. The complete job took less then 8 hrs. I was just happy to have the complete move done in one day. The only negative thing I can say is they put stuff all over the house and I'm still looking for stuff.

They did not pick up all the items that they were to move The head of the team had to leave for am apt and 2 that were left were nice enough but they left a lot that should have moved

We had packed most of our belongings ourselves, but left the large furniture and some irregular pieces up to the movers, who wrapped these items in blankets, bags and shrink-wrap. Jeramie, Tony D and Anton worked cheerfully, fast and efficient. We needed to store our belongings for a few days. This is a cost that adds up quickly. In Baltimore the guys arrived in time. We wanted to have some of our belongings unloaded somewhere else and had not been very clear about that during the loading of the truck, but the disruption it created was no obvious bother to the guys. We felt very good about the move and the movers and have not noticed any damage or breakage. We would use them again.

The owner came to give us an quote. He looked at everything and gave me a quote on moving everything. I told him that we might end up moving some things ourselves and asked if that would change the quote. He said to call if we did. We did move items ourselves and I did call before the move date to let the company know before they came. The lady that answered did not know what to do about that and said she would ask the owner. We never heard anything back and moved as scheduled. The movers were very nice, but broke a glass desk that we had and said insurance would cover it. It would be less than the 100 deductible to replace it, so we knew it wouldn't. We also did not get a change in the price even though we moved many of the items included in the quote. As everything went into storage, we were not able to immediately check for damage, but hoped for the best. Three weeks later, we moved ourselves into our new house and realized that four other pieces of furniture had been damaged when they moved it into storage, that did not include many items that got scratches on them. The cost of damage exceeded the deductible, so we called to file a claim and my husband sent pictures in the email describing the damage. We heard nothing back until we received a letter saying that they would not cover any of the damage because it was not solid wood (all Ikea furniture). So, when the owner gave me the quote he did not tell me that because almost all of our furniture was Ikea (not solid wood), it would not be covered if damaged. That was very disappointed to find out after the fact. Also, nothing else would be covered because it was past the 15 day period. If all of our furniture went to storage, how were we supposed to know if anything was damaged before we moved it back out? We were very disappointed in this company and would not recommend them to anyone. We feel we were overcharged and with five pieces of furniture damaged, feel the services provided was not very good. I wish I had used another company.

Were punctual and friendly, were careful with my property - even with what they did not have the proper equipment to move. Had a heavy gun safe that I told them about and they assured me they would have a heavy-weight dolly to move it. What they brought was an old dolly with old, small rubber wheels - not at all what they needed. Moving it into my new upstairs apartment was a big problem: one guy took the handles at the top and pulled from above, while the two other guys pushed it up one stair at a time from below! Had the guy at the top lost his grip, it would've slipped down and severely injured (or worse) the two guys below. Use 'em if you have "regular" furniture; anything super heavy, you might want to interview others.

Showed up 30 minutes before the moving truck, said they wouldn't charge me for the half hour dead time, but did anyway. Seemed professional enough, but didn't load the truck to the top so I had to pay unnecessarily for extra linear footage. The real kicker was the way stuff was loaded. I had ample blankets and pads available, but they were not secured and fell between items in the load allowing nice wooden furniture to get rubbed raw and cloth furniture to get filthy and tattered, lamps to break or be shaken loose. It's hard to get stuff coast to coast without a few bumps and bruises, but this was a LOT and totally unnecessary. The driver who picked up the load helped me better secure a few things at the rear of the load before sealing it up, but that only helped a little. The guys who unloaded were appalled by the job, and one of them was cut by glass that had been taken OUT OF a cooler I had packed it in, inexplicably. The cooler arrived empty, one of the glass shelves has a long chip in it and the other shattered, and shards of it cut one of the unsuspecting unloaders at the destination. The guys seemed nice enough, said they had plenty of experience, but I certainly can't recommend them. I'm more than a little disappointed with what happened to our belongings.

I think they were pretty reasonable. I think they knew what they were doing. Our timing just did not work out. Our move got pushed back, and they were not available when we needed them afterwards. If our move was not pushed back, I think we would have used them. I immediately was able to speak to someone, and they came right out to give me a quote.

He basically asked us what we wanted and what we were going to do and what we wanted him to do. I am planning on doing all my own packing, so I really just needed them to move the furniture. Therefore, he went through the house and backyard with us a list of what we wanted him to move. He sat down and worked up a quote and we talked about time frames. He was very nice and the quote was within my budget. He worked with us as far as delaying a day on the delivery and he was very accommodating.

I did not personnally use them. I used angie's list for a friend, they made all the arrangements and I had business out of state, when this all happened. I'm assuming all went well. Thank you
