Everything went very smoothly. There were some particularly difficult issues to deal with including extreme peeling in one bathroom shower area and some peeling in another. Additionally, 2 towel bars had been pulled from bathroom walls leaving sizable holes, and the drywall had to be repaired, and the towel bars shifted slightly to a new location. I found Mike to be very personable; he has great work ethics, and his work is flawless. He went beyond the scope of work planned, to include alignment of several doors and replacement of loose or missing screws. I was surprised and pleased when Mike said that he would return for any touch-up that might be needed after the installation of new stairway carpet. I am completely satisfied, and hope to use Mike's services for future projects. I highly recommend Mike for interior painting projects.

Mike came in and prepped the house on a Monday, and by the time we got here late Tuesday they had already gotten the ceilings done and were deep into painting the house with the color we elected for the majority of it. How they got all those ceilings done so quickly we will never know...and they are textured at that so not just a roller could be used to achieve this feat. Jose, the team leader, was great at keeping the guys on the task, too. And even when they had to work some around us as we cleaned the house, this team was courteous, professional, and had a work ethic like none other I've seen. They worked tirelessly Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until 6pm, then did the trim work on Thursday, cleaned up (seriously helping us since the entire first floor is hardwood floors), and we're gone before 5pm. I've had homes painted professionally before and never seen the workers so intent. Last house of this size I had painted took over a week, cost just as much, and that was all one color...had Mike's team been available in NoVA when I needed that work done then it would've been done in days! Just hire him!!

Mike was responsive and helpful on the phone, was on time, professional, helpful, and efficient. He did an outstanding job painting the walls, around corners and it looks perfect. He completely cleaned his work space I couldnt have asked for a better job.

I do not remember all of the details that Mike did, but it included drywall hanging, finishing and painting, installing baseboard trim and other mouldings, roof repairs, window repairs and a variety of other repairs to this older house.

Painting: As a former painter myself, I am very particular. Mike has a very steady hand and his trim work is impeccable...both ceiling line and baseboards. He was very careful to cover all furniture completely and cleaned up after himself. He also worked on repairing the ceiling in a couple of places where strip lights was were. Working on the old popcorn type ceiling was a challenge, but he did an excellent job. Plumbing: I had him install new toilets, vanity faucets, shower faucets and heads. Carpentry: Mike replaced a stairway railing, baseboards, door jambs. Electrical: Mike installed new light fixtures in all bathrooms and over the kitchen sink. I'd like to add that this is a vacation home, and he performed most of the work without us being there. He would send texts with pictures to keep me updated and always called if he had a question. I consider trustworthiness an exceptional quality.

Job went very well. He works hard and cleans up and hauls away when necessary. I would use him again!

Paint, trim, wallboard, decking, -- great guy.

Very well! I had to wait about a month for him to begin the work due to his prior commitments, but the work was top notch and thorough. He kept me informed along the way and cleaned up the area and hauled away what was removed. House looks great! I would highly recommend him to others.

He came to my house to look at the rooms I wanted painted but did not get back to me with an estimate. I made one follow-up call, which was not returned.

Mike is a very agreeable young man with good suggestions. He was helpful with small plumbing problems at our son's condo, then he came to our home to give an estimate on painting several rooms. He checked our roof for leaks and removed a kitchen fan/light fixture that had gone bad and replaced it with a new one. Once the estimate has been made, he will start the paint job. He is a great overall handy man.

Mike and his partner did a great job with the sliding glass door. We had it removed as part of a kitchen remodel and since it was newer and worked much better than an old door in another part of the house, we asked Mike to quote that job along with a major interior painting project. I feel he went above and beyond with the door installation, it looks great and works so much better than the old door. The painting was also done well. The walls in the kitchen look great along with the trim and the ceilings throughout the house. We plan to call upon Mike again for some other projects we have planned. For the amount of work done we thought his price was extremely fair.

Mike is a fine person and we appreciated his honesty and work ethic. Perhaps his contract format and quote information may not be as professional as most. His price for services is fair but not the lowest we experinced yet his work is good. Follow up communication could be better, but we will call him in the future for painting quotes and work.

Disappointing experience. No conatct at all from Mr. Sheets and ZERO explanation as to why he left me hanging.

He finally called and was going to call again and set up an appointment for the estimate. Again left several msgs and still no response. I wasted almost 3 weeks of my time waiting for this guy........I could have had a real professional paint 14 rooms at this rate!

This went as well as it could go. Mike is a fine young man and I wouldn't hesitate to call him. As a matter of fact, I am making a list for him now. He knew what he was doing in removing the old shades and installing new one. These are very long and heavy. No problem for Mike. And he was neat as a pin.

Mike did an excellent job. He is very professional and trustworthy. We will definitely use him again for other projects.

The results were great. He painted walls and ceiling and the work was perfect. No mess.

My overall experience with Mike was great. I enjoyed getting to know him and I felt that he was honest and very reliable and his work was perfect.

Mike was extremely detailed in helping us plan the project and in being precise in the amount if materials that would be needed. He was prompt, polite and a joy to work with. His workmanship is as good as it gets. The tile work is especially good with even grout joints and well planned transitions. The hardwood floor is perfect with all corner joints and molding very tight and well-fitting. Mike is also a great painter. I cannot find any smudges or drip marks and it looks fabulous! Mike's allowances for materials such as the wood floor and tile were accurate and realistic and allowed us to buy very nice quality material. Mike moved our furniture around and cleaned up after each day much better than most contractors. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the entire experience and Mike Sheets gets our highest recommendation for any kind of interior remodeling or construction! Thanks so much, Mike. We were having trouble making a decision on what to do with our bathroom, other than re-tile it and replace the 24 inch vanity & top due to an air vent that was on the wall. Once Mike came out to assess what we needed, he started coming up with great ideas that our other handyman never even thought of. Mike recommended moving the air vent to the floor (under the vanity), which then allowed us to have a 36 inch vanity! He also suggested putting in a recessed shelf the entire length of the tub/shower to allow everyone in the family enough room for all their hair & face products. Basically Mike re-tiled the bathroom walls, shower/tub area & floor. Of course our walls & floors weren't level & but he managed to fix it so they were. His tile work is awesome! He helped out with moving some of the plumbing to line up with the vanity & also installed the new tub/shower head & faucet. He installed the vanity/vanity top, over the toilet cabinet, mirrors, all the towel bars, curtain rod & mini blind, new toilet, new lighting and moved an electrical outlet. He also replaced the bathroom & bathroom closet doors & hardware for us, as well as painting the bathroom & doors. His attention to detail is great! Mike does clean up daily before he leaves. If he did something you didn't like, he had no problems with correcting it. He is extremely pleasant to work with and actually puts in an entire days work. Overall I would have NO problem recommending him to anyone. In fact he is still going to replace all the upstairs doors in the house as filler work for us. Mike was originally recommended to me, by my father who had him do tile work for him.
