+ -1 moreIan installed many spring bulbs including winter wolfs bane (I had never heard of this but has a beautiful early yellow flower), crocus daffodils, hyacinth, frittaleria just to name a few. We have perennials now that bloom all summer and into the fall while most landscapes are drab after may. He has brought something silly like 10 months of bloom to the garden and there is still plenty to look at in the winter garden. I really loved being able to go pick Ian's mind and he made me feel that i was never disturbing him. It truly was a pleasure having him around and we still call him frequently for advice and more work.
Description of Work: State Gardens provided me with an incredible depth of detailed recommendations for my garden. They provided an accurate estimate followed by a very clean, easy, timely installation. Ian McKeown throughout the entire installation took the time to answer all of my questions and made it clear that everything he did was for a reason. Ian takes into account as many aspects as possible such as soil type and orientation of sites to make recommendations that are not commonly used but will surpass expectations. I recieved 106 species of plants which fit together and bring interest to my garden year round.
