My partner and I, were looking for a home in a specific location to meet our needs for today, as well as the future. We learned about Stacy from another client and reached out to introduce ourselves. From day one, Stacy made an impact; she was always ready with information about each potential option, always ready to discuss the pros and cons about why each house may or may not fit with our objectives. Most important, she handled and managed to negotiate a large reduction in the sale price of the home we finally selected. I absolutely recommend Stacy Rodgers as a Subject Matter Expert in Real Estate and Negotiating - she will be your first and last search when looking for a Realtor in the VA/MD area.

 + -1 moreAfter 9 months we finally found a house we both liked. After putting in a bid that was accepted, the house did not pass inspection.Although we were very discouraged, Stacy kept sending us available homes online. She was even willing to show us homes outside Fairfax County. We were able to find another house we liked even better. Although the seller would not budge much on the price, we did get him to fix most issues with the house, and get the closing date we wanted. We think people would enjoy working with Stacy or Jody.
Description of Work: Stacy, and her assistant Jody, showed us homes over a 10 month period. Being new to northern Va we had to learn all about the different cities and neighborhoods, as well as home styles. They are both very cheerful and energetic young women. They respected our many stipulations and preferences. With all the foreclosures and short sales, they were both very willing to leave a house quickly when we realized it would take too much work for us to fix up. We were also limited on how high we could go, since our previous home had not been sold yet. Stacy even found us a better agent to work with for our home sale, while we were house hunting with her.If she was frustrated when we decided to go in another direction in our search, she never showed it. She also explained radon detection and encouraged us to require it as a contingency when we began the buying process. Radon was not a concern for us at our previous home, out of state. We are not able to comment on her negotiation abilities since the seller was himself an agent, and felt his home was priced exactly right. But I was prepared for this from a relative in the business. However, Jody did a great job negotiating with a seller for a co-worker of mine. They both made the house hunting process so much more pleasant, since I really do not like house hunting.
