Panorama Remodeling

We chose Panorama Remodeling to undertake the renovation of our kitchen and two and a half bathrooms. George and his team executed the project beautifully. All the materials required for completion were readily available when the work commenced. The renovation team consistently arrived early each day, worked diligently on the assigned tasks and ensured a thorough clean-up before departing each evening. George was always accessible to address questions and offer solutions to any problems that emerged during the renovation. We highly recommend Panorama; we will certainly engage them for any future projects. This is definitely a 5-star company!

We were new to remodeling and thankful to be able to trust George’s judgment and good taste throughout the process. He and the entire crew took ownership and pride in their work. George, in particular, acted as a thought partner as we worked through different design elements. He was (very) patient as we iterated through different ideas and concerns and always very responsive, if not even proactive in anticipating our needs. His team was fantastic and professional through the pandemic. Each team member brought unique and refined skills to the project. And at the end of each day, the team took time to clean up and sweep out, understanding that we were working from home. They were always considerate of our pets and children, who were living through the construction. One of the things we appreciated most was their patience with a number of our idiosyncratic asks. We know these added time and work for the team. But at no point did they push back, and instead made sure that we got the home, down to the nitty details, that we wanted. Over our time with them, we grew to have a lot of affection, admiration, and appreciation for this team. If we ever have future needs, Panorama will be our first call.

One minute our lives were in shambles following two consecutive floods in our basement, and the next - enter Panorama - we have a beautifully remodeled basement and a new shed and beautifully landscaped backyard. I want to give a big shoutout and express my gratitude and appreciation to George and his team at Panorama Remodeling. I had two prior very negative experiences with other contractors, and required assistance to repair the damage. At this point, I was wary and guarded, but George and his team at Panorama Remodeling were wonderful to work with. George was the consummate professional and extremely responsive; he responds almost immediately to texts, and within a day by email. His crew is punctual, takes the time and care to prepare all the surfaces to minimize any accidental damage, and does quality work. This project entailed the removal and installation of a kitchen backsplash, and his team took the time to painstakingly measure all the pieces to cut and install so that the final look was near perfect. They did not cut corners, did not complain when it turned out that my countertops were not completely even. They made sure all the pinholes in the grout were covered up during the final check, and touched up the paint that was lightly scratched during the backsplash installation. They took the time to clean up everything at the end. George is also on site several times a day to monitor and supervise the project. Rest assured that you are in good hands with Panorama Remodeling; they are responsible and take pride in their work. Their costs are fair, and you know upon working with them that you have the peace of mind that you will be satisfied with the end result. Many, many thanks again.

I contacted Panorama Remodeling for a small bathroom renovation estimate. George was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He came out quickly, was responsive, and I felt confident in his skills. He was at the top of my list though I decided to move forward with another contractor that I had used before for a small project. If I need any other work done, I would certainly contact George again!

George came soon after I called to survey the job and provided an estimate the next day. As we had already selected tile, he was able to order it and start the job per our schedule. He and his crew communicated during the day. He came by to be sure we were satisfied at the end of the day. The job was done in two days. About 200 sq ft. The craftmanship is top quality – these guys do not cut corners. George is extremely flexible and easy to work with – Change Orders (CO) are few and far between because George and Panorama go out of their way to be flexible, understanding and helpful. While not the least expensive company available – with Panorama I received a very fair price and have been extremely happy with the results. They truly go above and beyond and for that we are extremely pleased! BTW, Panorama was recommended by a neighbor who had work done. Her assessment to me was the same as my experience – George and team are conscientious, professional, courteous and produce high end craftsmanship. George is my go-to contractor. We first used his services to do a complete gut renovation of our kitchen, bathroom, and floors. We were traveling during the original demo work and had a friend come by to check on the progress. She's worked with different contractors before, and noted that George’s team was on time, efficient, and cleaned up well after themselves every day, including hauling away any debris. It was great we didn't have to have a dumpster on our property! As work progressed on the house, George highlighted that our electrical work was very old and original to the 1941 house, and it might be prudent to update, especially since the walls were already open. He quoted a price that - after a little research on my part - I realized was very fair. George was exceedingly patient with all my questions and changes. It was apparent that he genuinely wanted us to be happy with the finished product, and any requests ("George, I know you've already run the cable this wall, but could you run it to the other one instead"; "George, I know I said I didn't want a 4 inch backsplash, but would you be able to put one in?") were met with "no problem, absolutely." However, he didn't over promise. When there were things that I asked for that he wasn't sure could be done, he told me he'd try his best but if it didn't work here was option B or C. Their efficiency was also very impressive. In fact, they probably could have finished everything even sooner if we picked out the materials faster! My recommendation to anyone using George is that once they start, they will progress faster than you think so have your tile, floor, hardware, etc all picked out. Since we were so pleased with George’s renovation, we also used him when we wanted to put a three-story addition to our house. We originally had another project manager assigned, but we weren’t happy with the communication and progress, so requested that George take over. Once he did, the entire project went so much more smoothly. As before, George was efficient and flexible. If we wanted to change something, it was either “absolutely, no problem” or a clear “that upgrade will be X amount, let me know if you want to go forward with it.” So there were no surprises when it came to extra costs. He is also very responsive – when our basement flooded soon after work was completed because the breaker to the outlet where the sump pump was plugged in failed, I called George up very early on a Saturday morning in a panic, and his team was there in 30 minutes to diagnose the problem and rip out carpet and some drywall. He refinished the basement at no cost to us. George’s prices are competitive for the area, and he’s trustworthy and efficient. Highly recommend.

In June, they remodelled two bathrooms including turning one into a full bath with a custom tile shower from a powder room. The workmanship was excellent. Their workers were courteous. When I wanted to make changes, they did not argue a bit. They were very responsive and willing to make changes. They were very pleasant to deal with. They did a nice job with clean up. In July, they caulked and painted all the trim, including high ladder work. They did an excellent job. Their price came in at a fraction of the cost from other companies' estimates.

Over the course of the work problems arose because of the pre-existing house structure that required consultations between us, the builder and the architect. In each case, Panorama was really responsive and carried out whatever modifications were called for to fit the new construction in with the old. At the end, we were happy with their work. They also followed up to see if we were still happy with it on a couple of occasions.They did the work in about one month. The cleaned up after themselves each day and when they finished there was no mess left in the house or the yard. Both the owner and all his workers were polite and friendly.I would recommend them and use them again. Ater the job was completed the only issue we had was that two electrical sockets drawn in by the architect were not put in. Other than that, the work is really right on point with the plans and the changes we had to make during construction to compensate for the pre-existing house.

Panorama was selected after a lump sum bid was conducted, and started work almost immediately after award of contract. We had to work out a few design adjustments based on the conditions discovered after demolition, and Panorama was very helpful in working with us to resolve these issues and address our concerns. Panorama's team was very professional and maintained a very clean work area. Panorama also worked with us to select finishes. All in all, the project turned out GREAT and it was done very quickly and with minimal disturbance to our daily routine. We strongly recommend Panorama.
