+ -1 moreJUAN VASQUEZ the Owner of MGD Custom Painting, LLC is a FRAUD, LIAR, and THIEF. I contracted Juan to do some repairs at my residence in Aug 2023. He requested and received $2,500 as deposit before he was scheduled to begin work the following week. He never showed up. When I asked him why he said he had problems with his work vehicle. The next week he said he was out of town. The next week he was working on another project. Etc. Eventually when I asked for him to return my deposit until he is ready to do the work, he had another string of excuses of why he couldn’t pay or empty promises of when he said he would pay. Now, 5 months later he has yet to return my money and has done NO work. JUAN VASQUEZ is a smooth talker and polite, but a complete FRAUD that should not be trusted.

+ -1 moreOur HOA dinged us this year for "faded" shutters. We decided to switch the color of the shutters and front door. Then it was to find an individual who would paint them for us. We discovered Juan and MGD Custom Paint LLC when we needed our siding repaired (a piece came off during Hurricane Sandy) and asked about painting shutters. For ten pairs of shutters, we were quoted $100/pair, but we were able to negotiate down to $800 total. He was very open to discussing a price change. The crew of three showed up right on time and got straight to work, finishing in five hours. The shutters look great and no longer look faded!
