+ -1 moreAfter about eight attempts to have this company provide an estimate, we moved on. This company may do excellent work. They make have great prices. We'll never know because it was a chore to get them to return calls, or to even come out to give an estimate when a appointment was finally made. They never showed. They never called to explain and re-schedule. We moved on to somebody else.
Description of Work: The Metallo Stone and Tile company came from a list provided by the company that installed our granite counter top in our kitchen. We wanted to have a tile back-splash installed. We couldn't really find reviews on this company on Angie's List, but there were no complaints logged against them from the BBB.

+ 0 moreWalter did a great job. We asked for a somewhat complicated pattern that he handled beautifully. We will definitely use him for all of our tile installation projects (he does more than just floors).
Description of Work: Walter Metallo easily won the job removing the old ceramic tile and installing a new travertine floor in my kitchen after standing out among the many companies I interviewed. He does the job himself (rather than just occasionally overseeing a random crew) and clearly takes pride in his work. He was also very friendly and someone I was comfortable having in my home. His price was also very fair for the size of the job and the quality of work.
