Ed was very professional. He did the appraisal right in front of me. He gave me history of the era of the ring as well as dated when the diamonds were cut. Very thorough explanation of the methodology he was using for the appraisal. I'm very happy with choosing IGS to complete the appraisal and am going back to look at wedding rings with my fiancé.

I have been to IGS several times. The 1st time was over 10 years ago to make my wife's engagement ring. I described what I wanted, and they created a custom, high quality ring that my wife still gets comments on to this day. I also purchased our wedding bands there. Recently, I wanted a ring for our 10th anniversary. Ed was great (as always). I described what I wanted, showed him a few pictures, and they were able to create a beautiful custom ring that was exactly what I wanted. Ed and IGS use high quality materials. Everything I have bought from them has stood up to independent appraisals. There prices are very reasonable, especially given the high quality.

Ed was excellent to work with - from the beginning he was knowledgeable and honest. I purchased the ring from another shop and took it to him to have it appraised, resized, and plated. He was able to get the work done very quickly and for a reasonable price. The appraisal was up to industry standards. As the ring is old and of a unique shape, he quickly described how we could make a custom wedding band to fit. Highly recommended!

We went to IGS to have our wedding rings made. They were able to look at my existing engagement ring and create/produce wedding bands that matched. Ed was very knowledgeable about type of materials to use, including educating us on the difference and value of white gold versus platinum. We went back to have my engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes, and I mentioned that one of the prongs was catching on my clothing. Ed let us know that it wasn't a matter of the prong being loose, but the prong was not made properly. They were able to fix the prong and I now am not so worried about losing my diamond! They are very nice and responsive.
