Excellent workmanship. Old wood looks new, detailed wrap looks like wood.

William Davey came out to our home and gave us a complete walk thru and explanation of what was needed to replace our windows. He sat down and wrote out a detailed estimate. My husband and I decided to change the type of windows we wanted to purchase and William came back out to the house to write up a new estimate. At that time we signed a contract to have the work done. The windows were installed on November 19. The crew was punctual and professional. They completed the job in one day and we were very satisfied. They were very neat and after their departure, the yard was left in the same condition they found it. William came out to the house to check on the job. Overall we were completely satisfied and would recommend this company.

They were hard to schedule, they had to re-schedule 3 times, that was just a little bit okay, I understand we are all busy, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Ultimately, I did not really pursue it because I did not see enough reviews and they have not been doing windows long enough. I might go back to them and have the work done through them. I was not confident at the time to pull the trigger.

Gutter appointment was set for December 1, 2012 Workers arrived on time and were very cordial and professional. The job was completed quickly and neatly The workers rang the bell and informed us they were finished and left the job site just as neatly as they found it

Fred's Best Management maintained good communications and delivered as promised. The workers were in and out as promised. I was very pleased with the quality of their finished work. All the grounds were cleared of debris and our property was maintained in a highly professional manner.

The work was done very professionally and cleanly as promised. The product is as functional now as it was the day it was put in. I am completely satisfied with the doors and window. After the doors and window were installed, the sales reps returned to inspect the work and answer any concerns I had with the prodcts. I had explained to the sales persons that I do not like to be bombarded with phone calls wanting me to use them for other projects after they have completed one job. I told them if I was satisfied with the work, I would call them again if they didn't "bug" me. They have not called, and I am considering using them for additional jobs in the spring. I would hightly recommend this company for the replacement of sliding glass doors and windows.

After a very positive, prior experience with William Davey and the folks at Fred's Best, my wife and I called William when we were interested in having a new entry door installed, placing gutter guards on our gutters (our yard is riddled with large trees), as well as finish protecting all exposed wood trim with LifeTime Trim?. After placing the call, William promptly came to our home and measured the linear feet of gutters as well as the measurements for our new entry door w/ sidelights. As for our gutter guards, William had a crew dispatched to our home within 3 business days and they were installed in a matter of hours. Our "leaves in the gutters" nightmare is now a thing of the past - thank you! Upon measuring our front door, William noted that our sidelights were 14" wide whereas the sidelights we selected were 12" wide. Given this, he explained that his team would have to frame in the sides and this would add costs to the overall job (made complete sense to us - it would not only require more time/labor but also more material). The door and sidelights we opted to move forward with was a high quality fiberglass door manufactured by a company called Rocco Building Supplies, LLC ( www.****)After placing our order with William, he advised us that it would take approximately 4 weeks for the door to be manufactured and ready for install. Approximately 3 1/2 weeks after ordering our new door, it was available to be installed and my wife and I scheduled our installation for the following Monday. At the same time the door was installed, William's team also installed the Lifetime Trim?. The team showed up promptly at 8am while I was on my way out to work, but my wife was home the entire day and she gave me updates throughout the day. She mentioned that the team started working at 8:30am, the old front door was removed within 90 minutes or so, the new door w/ sidelights was installed by 12 noon, and the entire project was completed prior to me returning home from work (approx. 5:30pm). Immediately after getting home, I took 10-20 minutes to inspect the work completed and the quality/craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. My wife mentioned that the team of folks who completed the work at our home was very professional and pleasant to deal with. This was the same impression I was left with during our prior experience with the Fred's Best team. We are a repeat Fred's Best client and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering home remodeling work that fits within the company's suite of services offered.

I was impressed by the initial experience beginning with my phone call, the responsiveness and overall contractor professionalism and quality of the finsihed project.

No one showed up for the appointment and no one called to reschedule or apologize for not coming. What a waste of an hour on a weekend! How rude. I would never do business with this company, especially because all those neighbors said the same thing happened to them -- no one ever showed or called about the appointment!

First, I went online last night and looked at some of the trim from the company that they ordered from, the price they quoted me was around $900, the actual material was something like $100.00. I called the owner and stated the cost discrepancy between what they were charging me and the cost for the material was way to high. He said, "there must have been a clerical mistake", and that he'll get back to me because he was with a customer. This raised some flags with me and my husband. So he called me back, and I explained, and he said all the trim is going to cost $975. He said it was a mistake on his part. I ordered a door and looked at that. I don't know what kind of door I ordered, because it wasn't on the contract, so I couldn't look that up. He promised to send me an email confirming our new agreement that the entire bill for the trim would be $975, and I'm still awaiting this email. I've sent the company an email through their website, and tried calling their answering service, and have not heard anything back from them. When I called their answering service, I was transferred to a voice mail. The voice mail was either full or non accessible, and I was unable to leave a message.

Was introduced to the company through a rep who came to the door and scheduled an appointment to meet with the owner. The appointment was set for 3 days from then. Met with the owner of the company who then walked around the house to see what work we were interested in. We then set down at the table and we immediately formed a bond as he was quite personable and of course very knowledgeable about the work that was to be performed and the materials that were to be used. The work was scheduled to begin about one week later. The workers showed up on time and were very professional. We were very pleased with the workmanship and will definitely contact them soon to perform additional work.

A few months after we moved into our new house (well new to us), I noticed water was leaking into wet bar in the basement. After trying to figure out where it was coming, I moved the rug from in front of french doors that go onto the deck and noticed water had been coming in through the bottom seals on the door. The hard wood floors were warped and the water was leaking through the cracks and into the wet bar. After having the insurance company fix the wet bar and the hard wood floors, I was responsible for the source which was the doors. The repair people said it was the seals so I had them replaced. The next storm water was still coming in. I called a few companies to come give me quotes to see if they could fix the doors or what it would cost to have them replaced. When William came out he was the most prepared of the other two companies I got quotes from. He was very knowledgable of the issue and listened to my concerns about not wanting any water in my house. He was not the cheapest quote I got but he was also quoting my a better quality door and even had photos of the type of door it would be. Something one of the other guys didn't. And he offered a LIFETIME labor guarantee on the work they do. Again this is something the other two did not. We went with William and waited the three weeks for the door to be ordered and delivered. When it came time for installation there was a mixup with the time but it got resolved and was worth the quality of work that was done. His crew that came out removed the old doors and frame. The old door was apparently installed bad because there was water damaged wood and the old threshold actually slanted inward toward the house versus alway. His crew replaced the rotted wood and added a metal layer that made it slope outwards and incase any water does come in near the base it would roll out on the metal instead of soaking into the wood. The new doors are in and look great. It has only rained softy once since the install but everything seems to be working perfectly. The doors are triple paned and have the grids and built-in blinds. He also got us the fiberglass door so we dont have to worry about warping, cracking, or dents. All in all, William runs a great company and really takes care of his customers. I will be sure to add a update in a couple of months to let everyone know how they are holding up months down the line.

I just moved into our new house in February and was told that the gutters had already been cleaned. A few months later I noticed that they were already clogged and water was overflowing the sides and actually seaping through between the edge of roof and beginning of the gutters. William came out and told me that while I could just get them cleaned again he recommended I get some gutter covers installed. The main reason behind it was that while it would be more expensive up front, it would save me money within a few years since with all the trees around the house, I would have to get the gutters cleaned about two or three times a year. I was worried about getting screens put on the gutters due to the "helicopter" type leaves that fall around my house and what was being washed out through the gutter spouts. He assured me that the "helicopter" leaves would not get stuck in the screens. To back up his claim he told me that he offers a guaranteed buyback of the gutters if they do not work as he advertised. He leave had his guys clean the gutters and reattach the gutter that was coming lose at no additional charge. Its been a month and a few storms with no more water leaking between the gutter and the roof or overflowing. Also some leaves have already started to fall due to the extreme heat and not clogging yet. I will be sure to update this after the all falls leaves have fallen.

I spoke with William on Thursday morning, July 19th, and after explaining my problem, he came out that afternoon and quoted me a price. He originally said they would be out Saturday morning to replace my gutters but he managed to get a crew out the next day. They look great! Now after dreading the rain for 2 years, I am actually looking forward to it!!

Everything was first rate from the planning to the installation.
