Excellent Carpet Cleaning

The technician was very friendly and polite. He asked many questions about what kind of dirt and stains were on the carpet. He discussed options for cleaning the carpet and then gave me the price. I was comfortable with the price and asked him to continue with the service. There was no pressure to continue if I wasn't happy with the price. He proceeded to clean the carpets, ensuring that the rest of my home was as untouched by his equipment as possible. When he was finished he asked me to come and look. I was thoroughly pleased with how the carpet looked and smelled. We had pet odors and stains, grape juice and wine stains and other dark stains that were completely removed! I was very impressed. I will definitely use Excellent Carpet Cleaning again.

They did a great job, but they were expensive.

He did a good job, better than other companies I have used. The living room wasn't very dirty, but the stairs, bedroom and hall hadn't been cleaned for years and smelled of dirty dog. There were old stains I didn't think would ever come out, but did. The part of the dining room between the kitchen and the family room was filthy. It looks like new now! The carpets were quite damp when he was done. I think maybe more water could have been extracted, but that's my only complaint.

They arrived on time, called ahead to inform me of their arrival, and they did a superb job. I will definitely hire them again.

It was the easiest contract work from scheduling to payment. The scheduler called the dispatcher to confirm the appointment before she got off the phone with me. The carpet cleaner just could not have been more pleasant and did a fabulous job on the carpeting and the rugs.

This company does an awesome job. My son had a big bash while we were out of town and our berber carpet in the basement needed major cleaning and odor removal. This isn't the first time I've had Excellent Carpet Cleaning here to clean my carpets. I'm a return customer. They really know what they are doing when it comes to berber rugs and they do a great job on regular carpet as well. They make sure not to get the berber carpet too wet and they brought in fans to dry it. The carpet looks brand new and it is about 15 years old. Rachad took his time to thoroughly clean the rug and was able to stains out that have been there for a few years. He is courteous, comes in on time and is meticulous in making sure not to damage the furniture or the walls during the cleaning process. While Excellent isn't the least expensive carpet cleaning company in the area -you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

This company followed up quickly from the time we made our initial inquiry. All appointments were kept and staff was very punctual. When the work was completed the home office contacted us to ask if we were completely satisfied. It is very nice to see that some companies still do this. They are a model vendor.

My initial call for service was returned promptly and the technicians (1 person for the cleaning, 2 for the repairs arrived in a timely fashion. I received several confirmation calls to make sure that I would be home for the service and I also received a call from the technician 15 minutes prior to arrival. My service call was scheduled for between 9am-11am and the workers showed up right at 9. The work was completed before 11am. A rough estimate for all services was provided at the time of scheduling and a detailed estimate was provided prior to services being performed. All work was done in a professional and efficient manner. I would definitely use this service again and recommend them to a friend.

Townhouse is a rental unit formerly leased to four post-graduate professionals. Stairs are carpeted, as is all hallways and bedrooms. Really didn't know if the carpet could be saved by cleaning, the carpet was so dirty. Stair from foyer to living room level was highly soiled, had black grease marks of some sort in addition to other dirt. Bedrooms had assorted stains, one from a mini-fridge, another was orange, assorted other stains on the carpets. Cannot be overstated how disgustingly dirty the carpets were. Excellent basically removed almost all the stains, made all the carpets much cleaner and acceptable in appearance. Only stain that didn't come out was the orange one in a bedroom, which may have been nail polish or paint. Estimator made it clear they would try their best, but not knowing what the stains were, could not guarantee the stains would be gone. Bottom line, most of the stains are gone, carpets look much better, and ready for new tenants!

What a great company! My daughter is 7 and we got her white carpet when she was born. There were so many spots and stains that we had decided to get new carpet for her room, but I decided to give carpet cleaning once last chance. The person that arrived was very professional. He was careful to keep all of the areas clean and did a great job. My daughters carpet looked like new!

Rashaud arrived within the agreed timeframe wore a company logo t-shirt, a work order to prepare the estimate and if accepted his van equipped to clean the carpets. Rashaud greeted me in a courteous manner as he entered my home; he put on plastic booties, explained the process that he will measure the requested areas to clean, and asked me to point out stains and areas of concern. I showed him the border of the rooms that had soil build up. Rashaud explained that is soil filtration caused by the carpet installation aggravated by dirty air ducts. Rashaud measured the master bedroom, hall, living room, family room, 20 stairs and 4 landings a total of 606 square feet. Rashaud set up the hoses to begin at the farthest point in the townhome so as he cleaned he removed his equipment. Rashaud placed molded barriers at the banisters and walls to protect them from the hoses used to steam the carpets. Rashaud has discs to place under sofas to facilitate cleaning. Rashaud worked meticulously by pre-treating the soil filtration lines in the rooms and stains. At the soil filtration lines, he has a methodic of delivering the steam slightly above the baseboard then onto the area. Rashaud cleaned the risers of the stairwells with attention to detail. Please note I have lived in this townhome for five years replaced the carpet on two out of three floors. The existing carpet is white and looked awful due to the previous owners negligence and my error in opting for dry clean upon move-in. I replaced the carpets on the bedroom floor and family room because those were filthy. Upon completion, Rashaud explained that the carpet must dry overnight then place area rugs or runners and to vacuum the next day. Rashaud provided me with a receipt and card explaining soil filtration. The white carpets are clean and restored for another year. The bedroom floor and family room look like new. I appreciate Rashaud’s work combined with his professional, courteous and friendly demeanor made it a good afternoon. Please review their website and prepare rooms by removing furniture and vacuum to ensure the cleanest results.

Let me first say that this was a potentially horrible experience made easy for me by the technician, Rashaud's good humor, great work, and incredible efficiency. I was frankly surprised at how well the job worked out. I called Excellent on the Friday before Memorial Day and explained the situation and my own time constraints. Remarkably, they were able to schedule the job for that Monday - which meant having a technician work on a holiday. I met Rashaud at my father's place - he arrived half an hour early (I imagine he was giving extra time for holiday traffic) and had to wait for me to get there. We went over everything in detail, he wrote it up and brought in the equipment. At that point the dog took off through the open door (I had forgotten that he was an escape artist). So Rashaud got to waste half an hour of working time on Memorial Day chasing my father's dog through two neighborhoods - that's what I mean by good humor and humanity! The cleaning process went like a well-oiled machine, he went from room to room, systematically deep cleaning and vacuuming up the excess moisture, then went over some areas a second time. The rugs, carpets, and furniture were dry by the time my father got home. There were no bad odors anywhere and the rugs were brighter than I had ever seen them. EXCELLENT!

Company arrived on time, walked throug the areas that were to be treated, discussed the various treatment options and then provided a quote which I accepted. Performed the work as promised. Did an excellent job.

We found the company on Angie's List as a super provider, called them and made the appointment. The came on time and notified my wife so she could meet them at our home. The did everything that we expected and their price was reasonable for the amount of work that was done.

They were originally scheduled to come between 12 and 3 PM, but called to ask if they could come earlier. This was very convenient for us. They vacuumed and cleaned all areas mentioned above very thoroughly and were very careful of all of the furniture. There was an area in the bedroom where a cup of tea had spilled, and they spent a great deal of effort on that area. When they were finished they place plastic under the legs of all of the furniture that came in contact with the rugs.I will definitely use them again.

Excellent Customer Service to set-up estimate and appointment. Prompt responsiveness on day of service. Very good service and professional quality (don't even consider Stanley Steamer). The price is right -- even though I forgot to print out the coupon. I wold definitely recommend Excellent Carpet Cleaning - they are A1!

The carpet I needed to have cleaned was quite dirty and stained, but not worn, and I was considering replacing it. The cleaning got out the dirt and stains, and the carpet is practically as good as new. I was amazed at the result.

The company was very, very attentive from start to finish. I was impressed with the level of professionalism on all levels and will definitely use them again.
