Excellent Carpet Cleaning

They do a great job of cleaning carpets. Very thorough and able to get out stains and dirt in heavily worn areas. However, there is a minimum charge of $175. It turns out I could have had additional areas cleaned if the technician didn't have another appointment. Wish I had known ahead of time. So I paid for more than I had done. If I use this company in the future I will be sure to get all areas cleaned.

We would HIGHLY recommend Excellent Carpet Cleaning. We thought the carpets would have to be replaced as there were some large stains and soiled traffic areas. They look great. The service was worth every penny. The professional arrived on time, explained the services in detailed and was incredibly thorough.

The company was good to work with. Appointment was scheduled promptly. The worker showed up on time and spent a lot of time cleaning the carpets and tile floor of a house I had just bought. The results were not excellent. Stains that had been hardly visible through the dirty carpet suddenly came to the surface. The small white tiles in the bathroom looked much better, but the grout (which was very dirty) looked much better in most areas, but not in some. After talking to the worker, I now believe that the less-than-great results were not really related to the quality of the work he did. I think my expectations may have been too high, considering the age and condition of the floors.

The tech arrived around 8:30 A.M.( we were given an 8 - 10 window). Once I showed him the areas to be cleaned, he got set up and proceded to take care of our carpets. The whole procedure took about 90 minutes. The carpets were dry in about 8 hours. i would use tese guys again.

Technician was on time & professional carper looked brand new after cleaning. Even spot from our beloved family pet were cleaned & like new.

The technician arrived on time, which is always important to me. He was very polite and professional. He proceeded to measure the rooms and was able to help me decide which rooms to get done that day. There was no pressure to do more. The masterbedroom was the worst after our dog got sick overnight last week. He spot cleaned everything and then did an awesome job cleaning all areas requested. I thought it was a bit expensive but not ridicluous. I would highly recommend this company and will, in fact, be recommending them to my daughter up in Maryland. The rooms Jr. did look like new carpet was installed!

These guys do great work. They showed up on time and started with the duct cleaning. This process took about 3.5 hours including all supply and return registers and vacuuming out the furnace. They even cleaned the bathroom exhaust fan. They also did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets throughout the house including some serious pet stains. The two men were here working non-stop for 7 hours. My wife and I highly recommend Excellent for the service they provide, well worth the cost.

My experience with Excellent was fantastic. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment that Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival, Rashaud assessed the carpets and warned me that the carpet likely wouldn't look 100% new, but that he expected significant improvement. He honored the Angie's List discount and provided me with a quote before starting the job. As other have noted, he is extremely careful not to damage your home as he brings in the vacuum and water lines (he places plastic protectors in every corner where these lines might touch to prevent scratching cabinets, appliances, etc.). It took Rashaud about 2 hours to compete my basement and stairs, but the outcome was terrific. Aside from some minor pulls in the carpet seams (which was there before), the carpets look as good as new. Before having them cleaned, I figured that I was going to replace the carpet within 1 years, but now am happy to keep them for much longer. Thank you, Excellent Carpet Cleaning!

We still can't believe the results we got. Excellent Carpet indeed did an excellent job. They were punctual, professional, pleasant to deal with and most important they got the job done. Despite how bad some our rooms were they never tried to sell us the most expensive package and assured us that the middle one would do the job. In fact in a couple of rooms we went with just the basic package. Most definitely will use them again and recommend them to anyone that asks.

The service provider worked very hard and did a good job. The stairs and hall were very soiled and he had to work very hard on them. We were pleased with the results. Their price was very reasonable for the amount of work.

From the time I initiated the phone call to the time Rashad left my house it was undoubtedly the best experience I have ever had with a carpet cleaning company. More people should take an example from Excellent Carpet Cleaning and run their businesses like these folks! Thanks for the great job!

We have used Excellent Carpet for several years and have always been pleased by their care and professionalism and wanted to let the wider world know about how aptly named the company is. The entire scheduling process went smoothly and pleasantly; we were familiar with one of their excellent employees 'Junior' and requested him by name. He had to posposne his initial appointment because he fell in his home and sprained his ankle - but he came the next day, limping a bit. He estimated it would take about 2 hours to complete his work; we had some worrisome stains on our light beige carpet and our white couches - but, as always, the care with which he attacked each part of the job resulted in all stains magically disappearing. In the past we've had other carpet/upholstry cleaning companies in - they did slap-dask work, didn't vacuum up as much moisture as they could - didn't provide waterproof pads so that furniture legs would leave a mark on the damp carpet. Junior and Excellent Carpet left all the cushions staged so the air could reach the maximum area of the cushions; put dampness sheilds under each leg of tables and couches; vacuumed all the carpet and fabric nearly dry - and left the areas where the hoses for the cleaning system had to transit looking totally spotless (the rest of the house has wood flooring). We feel Excellent Carpet and Junior are a real find and have probided us with superb service from many years. Five stars!

We were selling our house and some people mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke. Evidently, it was enough to not consider buying our home. I had tried room fresheners, sprays, even baking soda. People could still smell the odor. I knew it had to be in the furniture and rugs so I called Excellent Carpet Cleaning. I don't remember the actual phone call conversation but the person I spoke to was very warm and friendly. We went over the various items I needed to be cleaned and a vague estimate was given. Either the estimate was vague or my memory is! An appointment was made and the gentleman showed up on time. He was so nice! Went over everything with me, including options and whether to have the work done in my home or back at the place of business. What I really appreciated was that there was no hard sell. We discussed what I needed to know, he was honest and didn't push. While working he was vey careful of the wood floors and other pieces of furniture. I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

I chose Excellent Carpet Cleaning based on the numerous positive reviews on Angie's List. My carpet was stained with a variety of substances (pet stains, coffee, paint, charcoal, ink), and another carpet cleaning company was unable to remove them. The first available appointment was nine days from the day that I called to schedule. I was given a two-hour appointment window. A few days before the appointment, I received a pre- and post-cleaning checklist, which contained instructions for moving small furniture, breakables, etc., and post-care instructions. On the appointment day, the technician arrived within the two-hour window and was very friendly and courteous. I showed him all of the stains I was concerned about and told him that I had first tried to remove the stains with a store-bought stain remover. He told me that store-bought stain removers can cause stains to set into the carpet and warned me that they might not come out, but might lighten up a bit. This was the same warning I received from the previous carpet cleaning company, so I was pretty sure at that point that the stains would not come out. The technician worked on the carpet for close to an hour, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed that not a single one of the stains that I pointed out came out. They didn't really lighten up much, either. Overall, though, the carpet did look cleaner. I believe the technician did the best he could, and now that two companies have been unable to remove the stains, I'm not sure that any company could have removed them, so I cannot rate the overall experience as a failure. The price was in line with what other carpet cleaning companies charge, and if the stains had come out, I would have been thrilled to pay it.

They were very responsive, called me back right away. They completed the job and were wonderful to work with. We were having an addition to our home which took longer than expected, and they were very patient with us. They kept the rugs for months due to the addition taking longer than expected without any problems. They did a great job overall. I’m planning to call them again, and I’ve recommended them to other members in my family.

The service went very well. They were good to work with, prompt, and I have no complaints. I chose them over Stanley Steemer, since Excellent took their time with the cleaning; I didn’t feel like they were rushing to get to another job.

Came early and had the carpets looking like new again.

Rashaud carried out the task of cleaning my carpet from beginning to completion in a highly professional manner. All outlined detailed Basic services identified on their website were concisely completed with much care and attention to the carpet. I was highly pleased with the quality of the service!

He was honest, easy to work with and very friendly. He worked forever on our carpet and sofas. Not the cheapest guy in town, but then again, I wanted clean carpets and sofa and man did they deliver! My carpet is not the best of quality and its 7 years old. After he was done it looked brand new. I think it was probably cleaned three years ago. We have a dog. Enough said. I didn't rate the price excellent because it wasn't a steal. I gave it a B because it was fair and reasonable for the work done. These guys are a keeper! He gave us a discount for Angies List after I asked, and he added some more because my wife is a senior.

The threshold repair was completed in less than 20 minutes. All of the cleaning was completed within a couple of hours with high-traffic sections looking like new. The crew was polite and thoroughly covered all of the work/pricing before starting.

The technicians showed up exactly on schedule. All of them were polite, professional, and skilled. I had already removed most of the items from the rooms to have carpets stretched and cleaned. The team removed the remaining items, aside from beds which didn't need to be moved. The stretcher did his thing around all the borders of the carpeting, which I didn't expect but appreciated. The cleaners then thoroughly cleaned the carpeting and moved the furniture back into the rooms. All of this was completed in an hour and 45 minutes, far less time than I expected. I was told that the carpets would be completely dry within 24 hours and that turned out to be true. The cost was pretty much in line with the estimate. My experience with Excellent Carpet Cleaning was a pleasant surprise and I've already recommended the company to friends and neighbors. I would absolutely call them again if the need arises.
