Dulles Kitchen and Bath

Ben Nowlin, our salesperson, was very helpful in selecting the various items we needed, and pricing out various options. The work crew, managed by project manager Firuz Z., completed the work very quickly, and clearly wanted to please us. There were two minor issues which remained to be addressed when the work was completed, and they were resolved the very next day. We were very pleased with the final product.

We are extremely satisfied with the final product(s) and also with the process. While there were less expensive options from which to choose, Dulles did an exceptional job: from design to finalizing our specifications, to scheduling the work, to the attention to detail and skill in implementing the work, to accommodating our desires and needs throughout the process, to paying close attention to their work environment ensuring the “mess” was as contained as possible, to taking pride in their workmanship.

The designer quite after our design and we weren't told, never could get a schedule from contractor, communication was huge issue, sub-contractors were showing up and asking us what needed to be done, no consideration for clients work schedules, they encouraged us to add one part of the design to our contract even though they could not provide a drawing (we had them add a statement to contract this specific fee would be totally refundable if we decided not to do it) then they ordered the materials and when they still could not come up with a drawing we stated we didn't want it done and just refund the money at this point they wanted to charge us a restocking fee and when we refused to pay I was told they would not honor the warranty, last day provided a touch-up kit, however, after calling the manufacturer I learned they did not provide the proper kit for our cabinets. We would never recommend or hire this company again.

The entire experience from design and through completion was very, very good. The project was started as planned and the work performed each day was done by their excellent team. They were punctual each day and dedicated to doing a professional installation while maintaining a clean, neat work area. The designer was very knowledge and made good suggestions for the best use of the space available. The project manager was accessible on site each day or checked-in to monitor the schedule and inquire of any customer concerns.

Working with Dulles Kitchen and Bath was a great experience. They offered a competitive price; met all their marks carrying out an ambitious time schedule; ensured top quality work and paid attention to every detail; and carried out the work with a professional, patient, customer-oriented approach. I can't recommend Dulles Kitchen & Bath highly enough! Johan was fantastic to work with. He was very accommodating, patient, and kind with my wife and I through several changes and many questions. Out of all the bids we received, Johan was the only one who kept his word on timing. He came to our house on a Saturday and told us the design and proposal would be ready the next Saturday at his showroom. We went to the showroom and he had everything ready for us. All other companies took a week or two longer than they promised, and some obviously didn’t remember some of the things we wanted or didn’t want, because their designs were not reflective of what we were looking for. These guys are genuine, they care, and they go out of their way to help and anticipate your needs. Johan was always very responsive via email and phone when we needed him or had some questions. He was never pushy or impatient. The crew that came out to install our kitchen was fantastic! Rothnny and Val were detailed, conscientious, and meticulous in their work. We felt comfortable having them in our home for a month and really appreciated their approachability and openness to discussing project details. They really thought through all the details, which is not always the case with many contractors. Sinan, the project manager, is a good guy. He was always courteous and helpful. I also appreciated that he would go out of the way to ensure we were happy with everything and accommodated some minor changes we had with no issue whatsoever. I highly recommend you call these guys and will do so myself in the future when we remodel our bathrooms.

Dulles Kitchen and Bath completed my total full bathroom remodel on time as scheduled and to my 100% satisfaction. The team members were professional, highly skilled, knowledgeable and very personable. During the demolition phase the supervisor suggested the addition of a ceiling light above the bath/shower which I agreed to and so very glad that I did! Such a major improvement to the small dark bathroom! During the project the team requested my preference on minor topics adding their experienced suggestions. The remodel results ended better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend this company and skilled team members.

Very well. I wanted to update my kitchen while keeping the existing floor plan, i.e. I did not want to extend into another room or knock down any walls to make a larger kitchen. Ali came to my house, measured, made some suggestions and then we set up a time for me to meet with him about a week later. At that time, we went over his design and picked out colors, materials and discussed prices and options. I told him we were seeking quotes from other companies and that we would need time to make a decision, which he was fine with. Once we decided to go with Dulles, I applied for financing through the bank they refer customers to. The process was very easy and I obtained a decision in a few minutes. The bank has been very easy to work with and everything is handled online. Six months later, everything is great, and I'm still very pleased with my kitchen. There was one small glitch--the grout where the counters and the tile backsplash meet wasn't sealed properly. When I called to ask about this, Dulles had someone come out and take care of it within a few days. I'm very pleased with the experience we had with Dulles Kitchen & Bath. I would hire them again and based on our experience, I would recommend them.

Dulles Kitchen and Bath did an excellent job on our master bathroom remodel. We tore the entire old bathroom out, took down a wall, moved electric and plumbing, and completely replaced everything. The result is amazing! Our designer helped us choose high-quality tile and fixtures and worked with us patiently to get it just right. Our project manager, Sinan, helped us through every step of the process and assisted with adjustments to our plans as needed. The crew came out on a Sunday to fix an issue with one of the old pipes leaking. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day so that we were able to comfortably live in the house while the work was taking place. We will hire them again to make improvements to our other bathrooms, as well as the kitchen, down the road.

We recently completed a renovation with Dulles Kitchen and Bath. They completely gutted and re-built our kitchen, refinished the hardwood floors on our main level (adding hardwood floors in our living room to complement the existing), repainted our foyer, and added additional lighting throughout the main level as requested. We are very pleased with the final result, as our home looks ‘brand new’ and we will enjoy it for years to come. There were several “bumps in the road” during the renovation process, requiring us to negotiate with the company’s co-owner to seek resolution and to safeguard that the project was completed within scope, as initially planned. However, we are most grateful for Sinan, the project manager, as he graciously served as a liaison between the co-owner, the onsite workers, and us (i.e., the customers). He was – and continues to be – available to address all concerns in a timely, contentious, and friendly manner. The onsite workers were fantastic! We will be forever grateful to Rodney and Val for their attention to detail, persistence, and dedication to the project’s success. Furthermore, Douglas and his crew should be commended for their artistry with flooring. Our floors are gorgeous! It looks like our living room always had hardwood floors, as the job is flawless. In short, Dulles Kitchen and Bath engage quality sub-contractors and ensure that the front line staff are dedicated to the clients.

Fantastic! Final results were better than I had imagined. Work was completed professionally and quality was incredible. I was very pleased with communication at all times. My crew worked together very well. Sinean Top, Jose and Jonathan were very interested at all times at making me happy and making sure the results were exactly what I wanted.

It went well with a few hiccups along the way but the contractors and supervisor did a amazing job in handling them.

Extremely well. From design to demo to installation, everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. A pleasure to work with this group and I love the finished project. Ask for Sinan for project manager. He’s the best!

Got off to a rough start with the downstairs bath; living areas weren't effectively isolated from the work areas which required cleaning once work was completed. In addition, vanity light wasn't centered and tile work in shower was sup-par. To their credit, Dulles resolved all issues when they were identified. The master bath and kitchen projects went very well with work quality very good to excellent. Only minor complaint I have is I felt the communication could have been a bit more consistent. Occasionally, there seemed to be some disconnects between their design team and the construction crew. Cost was a little high, but within market range. Would strongly recommend them for kitchen and bath rennovations and plan to use them to renovate our third bathroom in the future.

We had several contractors provide their design ideas and proposals but Ali of Dulles Kitchen and Bath was the one that sold us on going with them. He gave us options that we hadn't thought of but also incorporated the list of ideas we had. Ali was very patient with us and our many changes. The final design was exactly what we had envisioned, and more, thanks to him. After a very long bathroom reno (with a different company) a couple of years ago we were very apprehensive about the next phase of demo to completion. We were told it would take approximately 4-5 weeks but they were done in 3. The crew of Sinan (Project Manager), Rothney, and Val were assigned to our project and they were wonderful to work with. There were a few surprises along the way of duct work and pipes but they worked through every obstacle to "make it happen". We also had the hardwood floors replaced and Douglas’s Team was also great to work with. The end result was a beautiful kitchen that we absolutely love. Even the inspector commented that they did a great job for us. We can't say enough positive things about everyone we worked with at DKB and would highly recommend them.

Everything went very well...no complaints. They were very responsive even when there was a minor issue. They came every day on time like they said they would. I will definitely hire them again for my next project! Recently, I had an small flood in the kitchen because of a washer that overflowed. They ordered new base moldings and toe kicks to match the cabinets, delivered them to my house and never charged me for them. They are very reliable and professional.

From the beginning, Baha was a great designer who helped us get what we wanted in a kitchen. Our PM Sinan was great! He’s extremely friendly and professional. He was always quick to address any questions or concerns we had. Jose was also very professional and did great work. The entire team was very professional and did an amazing job!!! I love my new kitchen!!!! I’ve gotten so many compliments and people are asking me who did my kitchen.

Extremely pleased with Dulles Kitchen and Bath. From the very beginning, Baha was extremely receptive and creative with my design ideas. He helped utilize all of the space in my small condo kitchen. The materials and selection at Dulles was excellent. Once we settled on the design, I was thrilled with the construction phase. Sinan, Alfredo, and the team were extremely neat, attentive, and attention to detail was excellent. Their prices might be slightly higher, however I feel like they produced the most thorough estimate and actually considered all of the costs of the project. Very happy and would recommend.

The work was performed extremely well, very satisfied with the outcome.

As you can see from our photos, the results are beautiful. We have been enjoying the completed kitchen for about a month and the bathroom for 3 months and we are completely delighted with both. Dulles was very responsive throughout the project--whenever we would find something that we were not completely satisfied with, they would fix it immediately. Their price quote was better than other businesses we talked to and they worked with us to make some changes to bring the project within our budget. It's never pleasant to live through such a major construction project, but we really liked all of the workers who came to our home and they all did their best to minimize the disruption to us.

ali was super helpful with options and follow thru. All workers were polite and responsive to any concerns. The overall project went well and looks great.

They were absolutely wonderful From my first contact with Chris to the job with Sinan and Jeff they were amazing. I did change my mind on some things and they were very accommodating. Completed work on time and it looks amazing. They were also very reasonably priced. I look forward to using them again.

We acquired three quotes. Dulles Bath had the best quote for the job we wanted completed. All the staff and construction workers were very professional and prompt in all our dealing. The project manager Sinan was very responsive to all our questions. I would highly recommend this company.
