My experience with Willie Caballero was excellent. Willie was always punctual, very knowledgeable and professional. He responded promptly to my calls/emails and answered all my questions with very clear explanations. He was very attentive and listened carefully to all my requests. He and his crew showed up on time, worked very diligently, were very professional. The painting job was perfect, and they were very neat and tidy. I would highly recommend them to my friends and will use them in the future. Also, I thought the price was very fair.

The final result was excellent. The colors used exactly matched the homeowner's association's 20 year-old pallet with modern formulation equivalents. The carpentry was expertly done and looks terrific; the replacement wood used was pre-treated and of a much better quality that the wood it replaced. The Caballero crew of three was highly efficient, detail-oriented, and complemented each other's skill-sets effectively. The owner, Willie Caballero, made sure that all the right materials were available at just the right time to keep the on-site crew productive. The whole job was finished in 4 days. Willie, who is quite an interesting guy in his own right, seems to channel his personal intensity into taking the quality of his company's work very seriously. He was very responsive in the beginning, but, as he later explained, was having a complicated week that interfered with his ability to respond promptly during a couple of days during our job. He always responded eventually. His price was a little above other quotes we got, but the resulting quality of the work was worth it in my mind, at least.

Willie and his crew painted our home and replaced some T-1-11 siding last year, doing a super and quick job. We were hoping that a leak into our basement would have been fixed, but it was not. Once we identified last week that the leak was in a 9 square foot region, we gave him a call. Willie came out the next business day and applied caulking to about 4 linear feet where he thought the problem would likely be. The next morning we tested and this nasty leak, which has been plaguing us for year, was fixed. WOW are we happy. Now if we find no other leaks, we can complete the basement remodel. He charged us nothing.

The job went extremely well. Willie and his team were great. They were prompt, professional, courteous, and were careful to make sure that my furnishing did not get damaged during the whole process. The job was superbly executed. I chose Caballero based on many reviews posted on Angie's list and Yelp and I figured if so many people thought so highly of him and his crew, I would give him a shot. The difficult part was getting on his calendar but he was upfront and tells you how far out he is on his schedule; however after his job, I must admit, he was well worth the wait. I had contractors in the past that came and did horrible jobs most of the time and I am happy to say, Caballero was not one of them. The crew even finished the job sooner than the original estimate. Willie and his crew put a lot of emphasis on prep work which is key in getting a good paint result. Willie was extremely knowledgeable of the various paint/products on the market and made excellent recommendations as to what was best suited for reaching the end result that I wanted to achieve. Not only did the crew painted my ceiling and crown molding, but they removed the bad caulk and re-caulked the crown moldings and fixed any nail pops on the high ceilings before painting. He also painted two very high walls by the staircase that I did not request during the original estimate. The results were excellent and the crew cleaned up the work area as if they were never there except for the nice crisp refresh coat of paint on the ceilings, trims, and walls. Hands down, I would definitely hire them again.

Willie Caballero is very friendly and an excellent communicator. He responded to our initial inquiry, visited, and provided a detailed estimate promptly. He told us when he could begin the job and how long it would take to finish, and was on schedule for entire process. He called each morning to let us know what would be done that day and spoke again when he was on site. He planned the painting of each interior room to accommodate our pace of preparation, and meticulously protected unpainted areas, furniture, etc. Heavy pieces were carefully moved by his friendly, efficient, and easy to work with team. He chose paints and scheduled painting to minimize exposure to odors as one of us has breathing issues. The quality of the finished job was uniformly excellent and the premises were left in pristine condition. Along the way, Willie addressed all of our issues and changes in a cheerily cooperative manner.

I originally called Willi Caballero for an estimate to compare his prices and service with some other painters. He was quick to respond, came to the house, told me what kind of paint he would use, how long it would take and provided a written estimate within a day. Based upon all of these I selected him over four other painters. We agreed on a start date and then everything started to change, I required some rather immediate surgery, called Willi about changing the dates and he told me to get well, not to worry and call him back when I was able to handle the work, even as a watcher. While recovering he called me with some possible dates and inquired about my health. We selected a date and he showed up with one team member to power wash the house, which was accomplished in about 4 hours. The house is a split foyer. Two days later he came back with a crew of four to paint the house with the color we had selected. All windows, doors and anything else that needed covering were done, the down spouts were taken down to be painted all over and so the paint could reach all parts of the house. Even the roof line was covered in plastic so no paint got on the shingles. The house was spray painted beautifully and evenly. Several feet of overhang were repaired and painted by hand, the down spouts were finished and put back in place and the house will definitely sell better next year. They even installed the shutters which had been taken down before my surgery, Willi said it was something to do for me so I didn't have to strain myself. Everything was cleaned up and in perfect condition when they departed. A great job, a very easy person to work with, and a strong recommendation to all looking to have their house painted. Good communication and an even better product.

Caballero Painting did a small job on a bedroom ceiling that was damaged by a leaking AC in the attic. The damage extended about halfway across the room and was complicated by the previous owner's painting of the ceiling with an exterior oil based paint. They were able to scrape out and fill in the damage and repaint the ceiling so that there was no sign that anything had ever been wrong with it. Willie does a fantastic job and is a very skilled painter. Craftsmen like him are hard to come by.

Willie and his crew did a terrific job. When we moved into our house it was a beige painted brick with brown trim. Probably one of the ugliest exteriors on the block. The paint job was also about 10-15 years old and was pealing in spots. Willie gave me an estimate in the winter to do the job in the spring when it got warm enough to paint outside. He gave me a very competetive quote and stuck to it even though a couple of months had past. Caballero did a great job in prepping the area and fixing the problem spots on the brickface so that the paint went on flawlessly. They took care not to trash the shrubs around the house and cleaned up everything. The house looks fantastic! I would highly recommend them!

Excellent response for coming out to visit and look at house to give an estimate. Excellent response on what he/his crew would do to protect house siding, windows, rails, steps, driveway, etc. And they DID it! Complete crew of three came, worked very carefully, completed all the work, cleaned up after themselves. And did what I can only call, a very professional job. If only all other trades were of this high caliber! My thanks to Caballero Painting!

I scheduled an estimate which happened on time as scheduled. I listened to the rather lengthy sales talk and was promised a written estimate in 24 hours or less. After 3 days I followed up by email and received a call back but after denying he even knew me, after some prompting he suddenly regained his memory and provided nothing but excuses, too busy, backed up, have plenty of other business etc.. Lots of talking the talk, but IMHO no walking the walk. Nothing to recommend here.

Willie did a great job on the exterior of our house. We were nervous about painting our aluminum siding as we had heard that paint does not always adhere that well to that material. Willie prepped the siding expertly and the it ended up looking great. He also did a great job on our wood windows and gutters. we shopped around quite a bit but Willie sealed the deal with his attention to detail and obvious passion for what he does.

From the initial negotiations to the final walk through, Willie Caballero and his painting crew of four men, were professional and skilled craftsmen. They were friendly and answered all my questions and listened to my requests. Willie worked hard to solve the problems encountered. The weather turned unusually cold and getting the primer on the new siding was tricky--time wise. The entire house was painted in April, after the weather warmed up, with excellent results. I appreciated Willie's attention to detail and the systematic approach used to paint the exterior. The price was fair and and we would definitely hire him again. Willie takes pride in his company and works to have customer satisfaction.

I had used Caballero and Willie several years ago to do our deck at another house. He did a good job then and after seeing his reviews on Angies List I decided to go with him ago. He was incredible responsive, upfront and honest with his bid, and used all his own crew to do the house, no subcontracting or temporary workers. He did the job on time and with great attention to detail. I highly recommend him and plan to use Caballero again in the near future for a large interior painting job.

Willie and his crew are the best! They did some exterior work for us last summer and we were so pleased with the results we asked them to do some interior painting. We are very impressed with the attention to detail and the carefulness with which they work. Everything was left neat and clean at the end of each day. Willie came by at least once every day to see that everything was on track. He is always responsive and he has great ideas about color if you need that sort of help. We feel that his prices are fair, especially considering the quality of the work. Highly recommended!

Willie Caballero and his company Caballero Painting did an outstanding job. They provide the type of attention to detail and high quality service that you always wish for but seldom get. Willie did a careful pre-quote analysis and made solid recommendations, followed by helping us select the right paint and color. He painted a few samples on the side of the house to help us decide on the best color. He also was incredibly timely and punctual in getting the job done when they said, and cleaned everything up when they were done. He also did a number of extra little things to make the job look even better, even though he didnt charge for it. They are excellent at communicating to be sure that all expectations were met or exceeded. I wish they did other home repairs as it is rare to find this level of customer service and quality.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Willie and his crew and can't recommend them enough. Willie was responsive to everything from the moment we contacted him. The work was started and finished right on schedule, and Willie came by at least once a day to check on the progress and to answer any questions. The crew was dependable, arrived promptly every day, and worked carefully and with attention to detail. They did a great job. Our house looks like new!

This is one of the best painting experience we have had. After calling for estimate, owner Willie came the next day to provide us a very reasonable estimate. The estimate included not just the painting part, it also included the wood dry rot repair. Most painting contractor will charge labor and material for carpentry work. It is nice to get the total cost up front. It took them six days to do the job. They took time to prepare the surface. They power wash the whole house. They also washed a small concrete patio at back of the house per my request. Willie did not charge me anything for the extra work. That is very nice of him. They checked all the wood to find the ones that were rotten and need to be replaced. They repaired them all. There were a couple of window sills that were rotten and were not visible, so they were not included in the initial estimate. Willie had his guys repair them without extra charge. We had the old single pane windows with storm windows outside. Most painting contractors came to do estimate will not remove the storm window frames. Willie is willing to remove the storm windows to paint the whole window frame. Then they reinstall the storm window back. This may take some extra time, but it is the right way to do it. We had the old wood shutters that have needs lots of carpentry work. Willie's team replaced all the rotten woods and repainted them. They look beautiful and like new. The workers are very nice and polite. They are honest and hard working. I feel comfortable to leave the door open and left the house to them to pick up kids. If you are looking for a painting contractor, look no further.

The exterior of our 8 year old home needed re-caulking and fresh paint. We also needed a gutter replaced, and the cement painted right in the 2 or so feet of space where the Hardiplank siding ends, and the ground begins. Caballero did excellent work for an incredible price. Absolutely the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Motivated to start and complete the job on time and on budget. Outstanding team of painters, with the entire front side of the house being HAND-Painted. Caballero does amazing quality work and Willie is a pleasure to work with. I will call him for all my painting needs, interior and exterior.

Willie and his team were excellent. Willie is very clearly dedicated to his craft and his profession. He promised to do our house in four days and it was done in that time. But it was an unhurried four days because, as Willie notes, he insists on prepping a house properly before it receives its coat(s) of paint. Willie and his team did a terrific job in, for example, repairing some rotting wood on a supporting column. Or taking a side brick wall - that was falling apart - and restoring it to functionality (and saving us beaucoup bucks in process). Willie also worked closely with us in the selection of a somewhat rare paint color for the columns. It was original to a specific manufacturer and Willie worked diligently to find it. Plus, Willie secured for us an upgraded paint - at no extra charge - thanks to his good contacts within the painting profession. Also, his team was very professional with clean-up, which my wife and I both appreciated. And timely, important to us as well, given that we both work. Also, Willie keeps in touch - he asks questions, solicits input from the customer, and likes to talk business. In short, Willie takes pride in his work.and that is worth a premium. That said, Caballero's quoted price was the best of the four we solicited. I'd have no quibble in recommending him without hesitation, In fact, we will engage his services in near future for some interior work. Hire Caballero! You won't be disappointed.

I recently purchased a home and thought I could do the paint job myself and had already bought some of the paint. Considering the amount of work and limited time I had, I reached out to Caballero Painting Contractors for a quote. Willie Caballero, owner, answered my call immediately and was able to make time to come on site to provide a quote the same day. Willie educated us on the paint that was sold to us was not the right paint for the purpose and the cost we paid for was on the high end. This was confirmed with the staff when we returned some of the paint. He also walked with us through the entire home to be clear what should be painted and what should be excluded. Willie pointed out an issue his team could correct and the areas where it was going to be difficult or timely to correct. He provided the final contract based on what we agreed upon that evening because I was in a rush to get the job completed. Willie and his team were punctional, professional, and did an exceptional job on our home. The smallest of details was not missed. I may have missed them. For example, I totally forgot about a bathroom closet and they pulled everything out and painted it. They moved our furniture/belongs to the center of the room and carefully covered them. They wiped down the floor from dust because of the sanding. They tried to take care of prior painting issues that was not their fault. There was paint on the hard wood floor from previuos painting jobs that they did their best to remove, so everything would look more clean. There were numerous holes and fractures that they spakled and sanded. They were all fixed and more than I would have expected and cannot tell if it was ever there. I came to the house numerous times unannounced and the team were busy at work. I was sent numerous pictures on various phases of the painting. Willie and I communicated numerous times a day where Willie would provide status updates. When I expressed concerned that I may have made a mistake on a color I selected, Willie had a picture taken right away after they finished painting to show me the color. I could probably go on about their knowledge, doing more than we asked for, keeping me posted on when they would start/finish, and the details on the paint job. While i could have easily found painters who will say they can paint a room for $99, I was looking for quality work from someone who cares about their finished project and Caballero Painting more than delivered.

My home is a cedar home that has been neglected over the last 20 years. The house was in bad shape. I didn't want to install all new siding because I wanted to keep the wood look. Willie walked around the house with me and carefully explained how we could replace the rotten boards, repair others, and install new trim to make the home look almost new. Every other contractor I met tried to sell me cheap siding, replace most of the wood, or generally did not want a job this big and dirty. Their prices were also nearly double in some instances. Willie, the owner, really took his time to help me figure out what I wanted to do with the home. I had lots of ideas, but had not made any final decisions. I received an estimate the next day from Willie. I thought it was a reasonable price and I felt that he really understood the complexities of cedar siding. Work started 3 weeks later as scheduled. The crew showed up on time, I met Willie every morning over the next 5 days and he gave me a break down of exactly what was going to happen that day. The power washing blew me away, I did not think they were going to get the house as clean as they did, see before and after pictures. The house becoming so clean really gave me more options with Stain. Not included in the estimate, I asked Willie if he would install new trim around my garage doors that did not exist before. He agreed to only charge me the materials, and did it at no extra cost. Willie was constantly at the job site overseeing his crew, 3 full time employees that were very polite, neat, and thorough. I made a lot of changes to the original scope of work and took a lot of time to make decisions, but never felt rushed or taken advantage of. At the last moment, Willie suggest I switch the type of Stain to use on the trim with an application that would take longer and be more expensive. However, he did not charge anything extra for it, just did it because it looked nicer. When they were done with the outside, they painted a ceiling in my family room and I also asked him to paint a powder room for me, which looked fantastic. I will only use Caballero Painting in the future.
