I have used Autumn Electric for several small jobs, and was very pleased. The installation of a whole house generator was not an easy job, given the location. Both electrical and gas installs were quite difficult. I selected Autumn based on my past experiences. This is real simple folks - I want a contractor that does what they say they propose to do, do it when they say they will do it, do a professional job when they do it, and for the price quoted. In this regard, every step of this process was superb. From scheduling to final inspection, Autumn did exactly what they were hired to do. This was an expensive job, given they way it had to be engineered, and I knew it would be before I asked for a quote. The proposal came in at a figure close to what I thought was reasonable. Having done a substantial amount of home remodeling, I know good from bad. Everything Autumn did was a first-rate professional install, including daily and final cleanup. If you want it done on time, on budget, and done to exacting specs, use these folks. If you want to go on the cheap, don't waste these people's time- they're professionals, and you will get what you pay for.

He arrived on time and had all the tools that he needed with him. I had tried to fix the outdoor light fixture myself, without any luck, before he arrived so I was interested to see what he did to fix it. He explained what he was doing every step of the way and allowed me to watch what he was doing which I really appreciated. I could see that he knew what he was doing. With the spotlights in the kitchen he could see that I had installed three different types of bulbs and suggested that that might have been my problem, however when the bulbs were changed he noticed that there was still a slight flicker. He took down all seven spotlights and found that when they had been installed originally the wires had not been twisted securely. I didn't use Autumn Electric for the original installation. Then he changed a dimmer switch which had blown when the bulb blew. He did all this in 2.25 hours which I thought was quite remarkable.

We purchased a new clothes dryer and our existing outlet was no longer compatible with the new plug. We needed the outlet replaced quickly so that we could use our new dryer. Called Autumn Electric and they were able to come out the same day. Chris was great and was able to take care of the issue quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend and will certainly be using them again. Great service, exceptional timeliness and fair pricing.

Rick was terrific. He showed up on time, was careful about keeping the house clean, and knew exactly what he was doing. He took time to explain the problem and solutions to me, and he answered a few other miscellaneous questions for me clearly and helpfully. I was so impressed that we're having them back to do some more electrical work.

Our gas fireplace insert installer was not able to provide a licensed electrician, and left us in the lurch. We called Autumn Electric on short notice and received excellent service and communication. This was not our first time using Autumn, and each time has been very good.

Autumn Electric was a fantastic contractor. Over the years, my husband and I have hired many contractors of various disciplines, and Autumn was by far the best company we have ever used. From the time I made my first phone call, I was impressed. The receptionist was always pleasant and helpful on the phone. I received my quote exactly when I was told. I received a reminder call the day before service was to begin to remind me of their arrival, what time, and who to expect at my home. The master electrician who did the work was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He even returned after the job was complete to make an adjustment on the placement of some wires, without any hesitation. He was enthusiastic about the job, which was a breath of fresh air. The workers cleaned up after themselves and left the work space spotless. I was highly impressed with all aspects of the work and will be using Autumn Electric again for any future electrical needs

We have used Autumn Electric for several years now and always ask for Chris. This was nearly a full day's work (7.25 hours), and, as usual, we were pleased with the results. Chris showed up right on time as scheduled, worked steadily, and provided good advice and suggestions as needed. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We had one minor problem on this job, caused by our forgetting to allow room for a curtain rod, so Chris came back out a week later and repositioned the offending light fixture for $35... a continuation rate for the original job, rather than the full $140 for the first hour of a new job. We very much appreciated their/his understanding and the reduced rate for this follow-up work. Autumn Electric and Chris will continue to be our "go to" company for all things electrical. [One note: I rated them Excellent on "Price", but I don't really know how they stack up against others. We are very happy with their work and feel that $140 per hour for labor is worth the high quality work and comfort level we have with them.]

They were very responsive and could have had someone out the day I called but we could not meet that offer. Arrived the next day on time and were very good and thorough in their approach.

Autumn Electric responded promptly with an estimate of $375 to $600 depending on distance from electrical panel. Did not use. Had work done by another Angie's List "A" rated provider for $175. Depending on price, I might use this provider in the future.

.Everyone we talked to at Autumn Electric was professional and easy to work with. They helped us choose a new fan that fit the space without alterations. Chris was cheerful, efficient and did a great job with the installation. High marks all around!

Great friendly professional workers. Installed a ceiling fan. The workers put out drop cloths before working. Did a great job and a little quicker then originally estimated. Cleaned up everything, including the box from the ceiling fan. Price was under the estimate. Highly recommend. Nice to find an electrician that is good and professional and reliable.

Scheduling, discussion of work, arrival, quote and on-the-job performance were all impeccable. We have found our new electricians!

I called yesterday to schedule an appt and an electrician was available today! The technician arrived within 15 minutes of the start of the 2 hr window and completed the work within that time period. The electrician encountered no problems and knew exactly what he was doing. Pat, who is the electrician who arrived today, has always been a professional and competent employee, as well as a nice all around guy. I love this company and have had them out for our last 3 electrical jobs. I don't plan to use anyone else as long as they are in business!

Excellent service. Came on time. Went right to work. Very profofessional. Did a thorough job removing the old wire behind the wall and inserting a range plate. A hard and physically difficult job. Chistopher Lopez made a very neat connection and left a smooth surface. (And left the place clean.) Personable besides. Master electrician. Will go to Autumn Electric every time we need an electrician.

It went good. They did good work. They are pretty prompt. They left the area good. We always call them back when we need something done.

I contacted the office of Autumn Electric on 2/9 and was able to get an appointment for 2/10. The gentleman I spoke with was very professional and interested in my request for service. The team that came to my home was punctual and included a master electrician and an apprentice. The master electrician was knowledgeable, helpful, and didn't mind explaining everything as he went along. He was friendly, personable, and easy to talk to. He gave me great advice. He and his apprentice worked quickly as a team. Charges were reasonable. More than anything they took pride in their work and there was great attention to detail. I feel confident and safe with the work that was performed. I will definitely call them again for future electrical needs.

Excellent. I have used Autumn electric now for a few small jobs. We have had two different electricians from Autumn Electric at the house for these jobs and both were extremely professional, knowledgable, and efficient. On every occasion, they showed up on time, quickly got to work on the issue and were out of the house very quickly. Pricing was reasonable. They have become the team I will call for all my electrical jobs now.

The work was done to the highest possible standard and their staff member was totally professional in every way. Pat, the technician took care of a very tricky problem without delay and when finished he cleaned up and left everything just so. I will be using them again for a variety of electrical work, typical of things that older houses need from time to time. The companies owner and scheduling staff were very pleasant and easy to work with, nice people, great workmanship, and on-time.

I've used them because they were available that same day. They were responsive, they came on time and the price was good.

The circuit breaker for a 240V garage heater circuit had tripped and would not restore power. Autumn Electric (Chris) came and detected a short in the wiring of the circuit very quickly. The wiring was repaired and the circuit restored. This company has performed a couple of installations for me at my house over the past 18 months - installing a 100A circuit for electric car charging in the garage and installing a comprehensive lighting system in the same garage. (They had not installed the faulty heater circuit originally). I had requested service via overnight email and they replied promptly next morning by phone. The technical came as scheduled and I was called before he arrived. An entirely satisfactory visit and the cost was what was expected - quite reasonable. I would never hesitate to use this company again and can recommend them wholeheartedly.

Chris arrived early, did an excellent job replacing the old chandelier with a new, a bit more complicated to install one, adjusted the height, packed up the old chandelier and cleaned up everything. Excellent service, we are very pleased and will use Autum Electric Co. again. Highly recommended!

Autumn Electric is a local company based in Vienna VA. They are responsive, personal , and did the job right the first time. We had them run a seperate power source for our hot tub. They were not the lowest price. However, for a few dollars more we received excellent service.
